    Circuit assembling machine is more than 2 times more efficient than the crafting table recipes for circuits and it gives you 2 LV circuits instead of 1 from crafting table that have a higher cost.

    just hit EV in my own playthrough of this pack, it sure is a doozy.
    Just so you know, Macerating does not give byproducts until the HV macerator, so you can save some time by just running them through a forge hammer instead since its significantly quicker until HV.
    you can get chromium from chromite as well at better rates, i think its gravel in an iron mesh?
    my tips for getting AE2 as someone who also targeted it in MV/ early HV: set up maceration and centrifuging for sand, it get you certus quartz pretty easily, and get a Multi Smelter pretyt soon after you et your first HV circuits, it can work as an alloy smelter and does like 7 recipies at a time or something, so its great for processor crafting

      The multi-smelter gets better as you upgrade the coils too, processing bigger stacks, faster and cheaper.

    I am really looking forward to each new episode. I like your chill style and that you also don't really know what your doing and are learning in real time :D (its cool watching ppl that know most of gregtech like threefold, but it's also nice to see people who are on a similar level than myself)
    I started once but kinda failed, but watching your videos makes me want to start again.
    Bottom line, I just want to say that I'm enjoying your videos🙏

      Thanks for the support, I'm just trying to make the videos in a style that I feel youtube is missing nowadays and it's great to see people are still interested in this kind of stuff. Also you should try again, a little patience and optimism can go a long way.

    At this stage you can get rubber easier than latex. Centrifuging sticky resin will yield rubber dust, which in the chemical reactor can be reacted with sulfur for liquid rubber. You can solidify that for rubber sheets.

      @Thaumiumking9  3 месяца назад

    btw, best to set up your fluids early on, so try to make a polyethylene setup for super tanks, lv and mv halls, and etc...you can use the super tanks to store 8k buckets, not mili buckets

    • @AshEshyr
      @AshEshyr 3 месяца назад +1

      I think supertanks are kinda overrated in this pack, a 1k AE2 fluid cell can also hold 8k buckets and is way cheaper, you only need 1 channel to have a drive that can hold like 24 different supertanks worth of fluid, you dont need to craft storage buses which cost interfaces either since you'll want them in AE for automation regardless.

      @@AshEshyr i mean, if waiting 2 hours for 128 kanthal to smelt while making sure the voltage stays hv then crafting an mv chemical bath to cool then an mv smelter to make the plates, star steel, parts of ae, and etc sounds ez for you then ok :D

      @@AshEshyr tho you have a good point since in this pack there is a 65m storage part, which makes storing fluids better, the real reason why most people use supertanks tho are for oraginzing and also managing the fluids, basically drawers, since theres almost 100+ kinds of fluids in this pack to manage, its best to use super tanks to manage them, plus they kinda go to 2.1 bil or smth so its kinda good too, i mean if you want to keep everything in your storage, its great but it might be a hassle sometimes(also its not cheap from an mv perspective, hv or higher, i might agree)

      @@ninjanimarkus6077 I already had kanthal coils by the time i needed to have fluid storage better than drums and cells, i dont think you really need big fluid storage for a while, polyethylene goes pretty far even jsut batch crafting a few buckets worth. and what, you think waiting until cleanroom for a vaccuum freezer is somehow more speedy than making an MV chemical bath for silicon? I want my AE damnit!

  • @somekid5532
    @somekid5532 3 месяца назад +1

    just want to let you know about more efficient recipes for things like vacuum tubes, circuit boards, and resistors in the assembling machine, and the mv extruder, which allows for faster and/or cheaper recipes for gears, small gears, and rotors. as you found out in this episode, greg is just rabbit holes of rabbit holes, and dealing with each one makes dealing with the others easier. ex. automating sodium persulfate/iron III chloride, cobbleworks for free aluminium, silicon, and sieving materials. i dont mean to tell you how to play your game, but i do think that some of these things will make the crazy rabbit holes less tedious and expensive crafts cheaper
    also, it just seems that you dont know about it, but rubber can be made a lot easier if you centrifuge sticky resin and put rubber pulp and sulfur in a chemical reactor, and fluid solidify the liquid rubber with a plate mold

    • @Thaumiumking9
      @Thaumiumking9  3 месяца назад

      Most of the efficiencies with machines I've written down for later when I get autocrafting setup because doing it manually is just more annoying and doing it automatically is expensive. with AE2 I'll already be dealing with the expensive way and it's much more expandable / replacable when more technologies come along.
      I didn't know about rubber from resin though, that makes that a hell of a lot easier, thank you.

    • @LuaanTi

      @@Thaumiumking9 You will always be doing a lot of _passive_ crafting (or at least batch crafting) in GregTech; you don't want to rely on autocrafting too much even with a big, advanced AE2 setup. It's more about being prepared in advance than making everything on demand. Setting up even tiny passive crafting builds will really get you going - otherwise you'll always be waiting for something to craft. The fastest way to make something is to already have it produced four hours in the past :D Keep note of things you end up waiting on particularly long and make them in bulk well in advance. Also keep in mind that more advanced materials will quickly stop being available through the more manual handcrafty paths - it's just an early game crutch, you're well encouraged to start moving towards semi- and fully-automated setups.
      You will probably be reluctant to automate too much until you get a good, reliable source of raw materials... but there's nothing stopping you from automating, say, rubber or polyethylene. Just let it build up in a tank somewhere. Even without full automation, just dropping a few stacks of slime into a production line will get you going.

      The arm itself doesn't have a filter, the funnel into the chest does. I made a filter for any ingot, so that when an ingot is on the depot the arm automatically moves it into the funnel.

That way you can smelt things, that don't smelt to ingots without having to babysit them. The only thing it will not work for are things that can be double smelted like cobblestone -> stone -> smooth stone.

      Well plenty of other people (myself included) seem to like those additions. Not everyone wants pure greg-tech just to be "Greggy Enough". If you don't like the pack then just don't play it, you don't have to yell at us about it.

    • @trulyno
      @trulyno 3 месяца назад +1

      unless it's the gregtech ceu community pack or it's modern version of it, no GT modpack includes only gregtech and no other tech mod. even gtnh has included mods like railcraft. nomifactory has draconic evolution, enderio, thermal, AA and a few others. if you want ONLY gregtech, play only the community packs. all other modpacks include additions to help along the progression.
      But you know what makes a gregtech pack a gregtech pack? the core mod of the modpack is gregtech. that is the simple truth

    • @LuaanTi
      @LuaanTi 3 месяца назад

      How so? Who cares about Thermal? What good does it do? This isn't exactly Nomifactory where you don't have to care about power generation all the way to your first fusion reactor :)
