For the most part I would agree with this tier list, but I feel like for A and S tier placements would change if you take in account the survivability a class provides: both 2H and (especially) Halberd use buff skills that heavily impact your defenses, to the point that usually any hit is an insta-death; furthermore, 2H as the extra disadvantage of requiring you to stick very close to the boss and without many reliable options for I-frames (only Meteor Breaker or Soul Hunter which are too inconsistent; compare it to what the other melee classes can offer...), which means your chances of getting hit and killed are always very high (Halberd gets more range and safer I-frames, but becomes even more risky due to GSW). And if you think missing Sat is a huge dps loss for Bows, how much dps do you lose as 2H/HB if you are dead? Yeah, which is why despite their impressive damage outputs I don't think they can be in S tier. Perhaps with some high investment builds that allow you to consitently dodge every attack this might not be a problem, but, realistically.... and for the record, I main 2H... Moving to Bows: while it's true that they gained basically nothing from T5 skills, I seriously doubt that would move them down to A tier. Yes, perhaps Bows lost their pedestal in SSS+ Extra-Deluxe-Godly tier...but that's not nearly enough to move them below any other class! Their DPS is still one of the highest of any weapon (and thank goodness they didn't get the T5 treatment of other classes, otherwise now we would exclusively have Bow users!) while maintaining their status as THE safest class to play, thanks to their ridiculous range advantage, as well as THE easiest, with easy AMPR management, low investment builds and whatnot. You could argue that now Bows would share S tier with other classes (like, I DO believe Katanas gained a massive boost form T5), sure, but I still don't believe there's any reason to think that they should fall lower. (And as an extra note... are single 1H even a real DPS class, lol? Jokes aside, they don't really compare to the other B tier options, I would put them in C...)

I would have to put bow in s tier over bowgun as retrograde turns bullseye into what many players call "soft tenryu", outside of that, the tierlist is very very accurate! Great video!
@@Ryūzōji-Hyōma It plays just like your usual bow, but for me I just change my satelite combo into open->satelite arrow (smite) -> arrow rain (safe) -> holy fist (smite), then use bullseye whenever you have the time and mp manually. Re-inflict retro for every 3 times cf 3/5. Level up arrow rain to lv 9, and bullseye to 10. I don't recommend taking bullseye if your ampr is below 120 after kairiki if you just want to hunt stationary bosses like kuzto. If you want to fight against fast moving opponent, in which you won't be able to use sate rain combo, then taking bullseye is fine
not true building bowgun dagger can go Charlie's Angels move set super fast dagger normal attack while you being still ranged and can switch from ranged and melee in a split second while boss focusing on your clone.
knuckles is highly limited as a dps a guy soloed Quasar using knuckles with only 1:34 so it probably about the difficulty to use I think it deserves an A just by it dmg
(Opinion) I kinda feel like knucks is a bit under placed in the tier list since it's the only weapon that can go full damage without losing too much damage stats while also being very tanky giving it godly survivability (You could argue that ktn has better survivability I guess but come on, It's a safe bet that less than 20% of ktn users have hivan level mechanics and also everyone is prone to human error) which is very useful for bosses that you really can't avoid getting hit by (ex. patissia) as you don't have to rely on gsw. Knucks also does better with sh as it's main dps skill since prorate advantage and higher multipliers, it also goes well with flash blink since it's like a faster aura blade.

For example bwg is best for guild maze and stoodie runs because of the high mobility in these maps, or katana is best for high difficulty bosses and gem runs, or knuckle dps is built like exp lane fighters in ML that are made to act as secondary tank in the late game etc...

Alot of these are dependent on build to some can be weirdly strong.. for example combination builds such as knucks md magic atks, also have seen some weird katanas that can beat cf's overall dps nuke with garu due to its unsheathe scaling and dps increases over time

I'll do you one better. Staff is C tier. We're talking about damage and dps, but lets talk casting and motion speed. If you wanna keep it basic finale, then you are still the slowest skill in the game averaging around 8seconds with the most basic of combos. Wanna get casty? Well you're gonna need a LOT of ritual and massive Dex to get your magic damage within the same year you ordered it. Staff is a Hard weapon that does not reward you with fancy stacks of power or plentiful I-Frames and without GSW you might as well eat a death truffle and spare yourself the frustration. Equipment and xtals help boost damage, but if you try and build a nuclear mage with all matk m.pierce xtals...you're gonna suck being heavily reliant on everything being PERFECT due to spamming just finale. You NEED more xtals for cspd% via dex. Unless you're a critical mage....heretics. Nemesis can burn in Vyshed for betraying Int DeX

i think u should make tierlist of skill tree instead of weapon since u can learn any skill tree on any class, for example knuckle on its on is low dmg but its dmg is (was) super high with magic warrior tree
I'll probably put knuckle in C. Yes now they can punch hard but it mostly because of crusher. Their own skill itself is more on interruption side and need at least tier 4 skills
0.0 1h sword so versatile it should be A tier tbh it could be complicated to build and strong but still on the week side you can make a easy build with sword but It has more complicated outs like 1H assassin or 1h md and if you have proper build these classes doing big damage and its also the only class you can affectively tank dps.
you probably should've split the tierlist into 2 different ones for t4 and "with t5" not only you get more content, it also gets less mixed up while being more specific in the reasons
if u just want to pick a weapon and start doin dmg play staff or bow, cuz katana haves too low surviviblity and needs tons of spina to make it does decent dmg.

I chose HB cause it is the most unique wep they offer. I am bored with Sword, Bow, and Staff so I chose Hb to Explore new things but I do really like it after trying it out. I love the long reach and its speed.
As a paladin user.... Heh lvling is hard special if you're a pure paladin... I always get scolded by the tank for interrupting the boss (・-・;)ゞ And I do low damage without interrupts
as a bow user that still stuck at level 214, it is actually painful to leveling especially with my low ampr and aspd. so i must agree that bow got Tier A it is quite difficult to use for me imo mother i just want tier 5 skill already 😔
two types of dmg ,Consistent dmg. and dmg that can be evaded. like halberd dragon tooth , buster blade, etc which has high if not 100% it will connect(ofcource chance of miss) and finale , cf. . .i dont need to say it, if the boss moves alot its hard to hit 🤣
For real, my mage char is useless because of boss movement and area attack and aggro. I have enormous cast speed and it still fails because the bosses move a lot 😂. I also have a katana character, to deal massive damage, you need a very high skill, it takes time to build up, and if you fail to reset the cool down, you're doomed, also, it needs a lot of AMPR, you need an AMPR build. Mage doesn't need AMPR.
Firstly drop ohs an knuckles down to C creating a dps that honestly has major effect are way too expensive asiding from the fact even if your using 2s the dmg is still low an low budget builds are practically grazing thier targets an hitting 1s & 0s
knuck with md will become powerful cuz have two prorate and atk type that only change equip you can m.atk or p.atk being S tier mage despite being B tier melee
Even my trash equip can do 1mi with cf, soo i have no doubt that bow is the best dps. BUT i had a tough time with it, if you have no good equip, stability is terrible and the ampr can be slow or risk (due to decoy long stupid cast). It needs a full crit build to work decently. Now katana is quite a joke for me xD, since its the worst starter class in my opinion
I'm a dual sword main and i hate it so much. I can't even join the new event bosses because of my pathetic dps. It's fuckn expensive and not worth at all except for looking flashy and sht.

100% agree with everything here except w/ DS and knux.... for me I'm gonna put knux a more higher than DS since you need to bring multiple elemental swords to make DS stronger and stability is always an issue w/ DS since most DS builds are always geared towards STR and AGI only.... unlike in knux you can now make knux more stable w/ DEX since AGI now gives CD, which is great for Annihilator users.... what makes DS and Knux at equal is when you have weapons that gives insane ASPD (Wind Grace Sword, DX Bomber Blockers and Duplex Knuckles) since you'll barely need GSW if you pair it w/ Wandering Wheel/Gordo
Gotta agree and it really makes sense since knux has t5 skills while DS don't. Plus most skills in DS tree doesn't even properly support its main skills. Skills like Flash blast and Godspeed cuz SC isn't even unsheathe. Only Charging slash and Storm reaper use it. Not to mention flash blast's evasion messing up proration cuz it does Phys dmg. But we'll see how the upcoming DS t5 handles this
I use two OHS from the slayer collaboration I also use magic with its prowess😅 I love to increase to strategics but I also rarely use the consignment board for buying cuz I books from the library and I have a lot of notebook of oblivion

The only hard part in the katana is basically you are fighting sans in a no hit run.

bow and arrow and dual swords are top of the totem pole, followed by katana, then halberd, then 2 hand swords, then knuckle, then ohs.

I chose HB cause it is the most unique wep they offer. I am bored with Sword, Bow, and Staff so I chose Hb to Explore new things but I do really like it after trying it out. I love the long reach and its speed.

I'm level 145, and with a very budget build with only T3 skills, I can get 1M a skill spammed. Though, my ampr is very low so I can't spam it yet
As a paladin user.... Heh lvling is hard special if you're a pure paladin... I always get scolded by the tank for interrupting the boss (・-・;)ゞ
And I do low damage without interrupts
Ill put Bow and Arrow to S tier, they can solo many boss in fast time because of their survivability and damage
as a bow user that still stuck at level 214, it is actually painful to leveling especially with my low ampr and aspd. so i must agree that bow got Tier A

Well bowgun and 2h is the best job in the game the budget is not pricely and i think suzuki gm will not nerf that 2 job in short of time

like halberd dragon tooth , buster blade, etc which has high if not 100% it will connect(ofcource chance of miss)

For real, my mage char is useless because of boss movement and area attack and aggro. I have enormous cast speed and it still fails because the bosses move a lot 😂. I also have a katana character, to deal massive damage, you need a very high skill, it takes time to build up, and if you fail to reset the cool down, you're doomed, also, it needs a lot of AMPR, you need an AMPR build. Mage doesn't need AMPR.
Firstly drop ohs an knuckles down to C creating a dps that honestly has major effect are way too expensive asiding from the fact even if your using 2s the dmg is still low an low budget builds are practically grazing thier targets an hitting 1s & 0s

Even my trash equip can do 1mi with cf, soo i have no doubt that bow is the best dps.
BUT i had a tough time with it, if you have no good equip, stability is terrible and the ampr can be slow or risk (due to decoy long stupid cast).
It needs a full crit build to work decently.
Now katana is quite a joke for me xD, since its the worst starter class in my opinion

I'm a dual sword main and i hate it so much. I can't even join the new event bosses because of my pathetic dps. It's fuckn expensive and not worth at all except for looking flashy and sht.

Arial needs a serious nerf dude and everyone's acting like it's normal that's all u see everywhere now lfp Arial dps its freaking annoying and all they do is go in spam the crap out of it bam easy kills like mod especially if they have dte...
100% agree with everything here except w/ DS and knux.... for me I'm gonna put knux a more higher than DS since you need to bring multiple elemental swords to make DS stronger and stability is always an issue w/ DS since most DS builds are always geared towards STR and AGI only.... unlike in knux you can now make knux more stable w/ DEX since AGI now gives CD, which is great for Annihilator users....
what makes DS and Knux at equal is when you have weapons that gives insane ASPD (Wind Grace Sword, DX Bomber Blockers and Duplex Knuckles) since you'll barely need GSW if you pair it w/ Wandering Wheel/Gordo
Gotta agree and it really makes sense since knux has t5 skills while DS don't. Plus most skills in DS tree doesn't even properly support its main skills. Skills like Flash blast and Godspeed cuz SC isn't even unsheathe. Only Charging slash and Storm reaper use it. Not to mention flash blast's evasion messing up proration cuz it does Phys dmg. But we'll see how the upcoming DS t5 handles this

I use two OHS from the slayer collaboration I also use magic with its prowess😅 I love to increase to strategics but I also rarely use the consignment board for buying cuz I books from the library and I have a lot of notebook of oblivion
