I been guilty of that to many times. Even though I got smarter I still waste some. Even cooking very small amounts for myself and son eating two times..at times it’s still some left over. But the amount of food waste u see at stores and in movies is just mind boggling.

It's not only in US, even third world countries. Just look at restaurants and all those orders people make. Most food are just bitten and left there. As if take out of leftovers is too embarrassing for them.
