So, why would the authorities bother "wasting Police resources" investigating her disappearance?? All the authorities did was "appear to have done everything they could" to take the heat off themselves. They don't care about Māori and even less about Māori women. No surveillance at the pub or car park area or in town? What about last phone records and movement. To me it sounds like the police didn’t want to do nothing and treated this as mental health! They Should’ve taken this seriously. It sounds to me foul play and someone out there knows something.
It is so sad that this young woman has not been treated as a valuable human being and that her life has been treated as unworthy. This case should be notoriously investigated day in day out. No one in the police force should stop looking until she's found and her face should be on the news every week with a reward for any information 🙏 im praying for answers and that the government will step in by employing a team of investigators to relook over the whole case and hold police accoutable for destroying evidence
Those high up professional ones, don't seem to like to get involved with these shady cases. And sometimes their are con-artists in the family, that are pretending to be good and slag off amateur psychics that trying to help.
Do you know what, this is just not good enough, first they should have combed the car for fingerprints, the Police have really let the family down and basically swept Jamie Kaiwai under the carpet.

He's thinking of connection but the family just want them to do their job and take it serious. Why should a grieving family member have to do their job? The cousin should take over that officers job, she's far more intelligent than him
DISGUSTING by the police. Definitely been paid off, blood is found in her room and car and it is still not treated as suspicious? The phone usage after she went missing??? The 9hr trips just to visit 5-10mins??? The fact her car was able to start straight away???? Terrible, never stop fighting whanau, somethings definitely not right
Part of me wonders if the police are keeping quiet because they’re scared of the people who are involved. Living in a small town those people will know where those officers live perhaps the officers aren’t doing anything to protect themselves. They should get another police department involved. For all we know she’s been murdered or is kept captive somewhere. So awful to not have closure her poor family 😓
yeah definitely there could have been a far better investigation at the beginning all the little details of the case seem strange the out of town trips would have been costly in petrol especially only staying for 5-10 minutes between towns rings alarms , blood found, no finger prints taken in her car, Someone using her phone after she went missing its suspicious, and alot of these leads should have been followed up more thoroughly regardless of her mental health and prior drug use, Thats only another factor doesnt mean this person hasnt gone missing because of somebody has taken her and harmed her thats still relevant, and without saying it out loud the Police did assume she had committed suicide otherwise why wouldnt there be more thorough testing and investigations, This is an assumption based solely on the way the investigation was handled.
Shed be first person in nz to die from use of cannabis. Shes either pissed off somewhere over hurt of loss of her boy , or unfortunately murdered id say.
Come on. She's been murdered. Where did all the blood come from and her clothes were inside out and had blood in them. And wasn't one of her shoes missing? Wake-up!
Well those big trips around the coast and those specific places she’s going I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s been killed especially if she’s moving drugs it’s pretty obvious what she was doing
Maybe someone did something bad to her in retribution and police didn't think it was worth investigating because of her drug involvement and mental health issues
Wow what Shity police work not doing there job so terrible obviously hiding something which is clearly obvious and not being truthful to the family what a disgrace.

Where are all the psychics now that will name who did it ....hey Sue
Those high up professional ones, don't seem to like to get involved with these shady cases. And sometimes their are con-artists in the family, that are pretending to be good and slag off amateur psychics that trying to help.
The way these grub cops are being so evasive makes me think its one of their own who had something to do with this
Yes that rumour had been going arwnd too
Or a white man with lots of power.
Lol nope, cops aren't mythical creatures.
@kfalco2406 no such thing in NZ lol.
Do you know what, this is just not good enough, first they should have combed the car for fingerprints, the Police have really let the family down and basically swept Jamie Kaiwai under the carpet.
I honestly think some cases that are unsolved or cold cases have direct police involvement and i mean everywhere in the world you might wanna get a medium such as kelvin cruishank
Nah you watch too many movies lol.
@@AmonAnon-vw3hrit's not hard to believe they are not exempt from human error or cover up
@debrasmith4644 Absolutely.... Anything is possible. Can't rely on the justice system, complete amateurs that need their skills and quals reviewed... That is shocking... KC would surely tap into answers. Pray this whanau finds justice ⚖️ however shape or form for Jaime ❤
@@AmonAnon-vw3hr our whole existence is one big movie and not so hard to believe is it maybe u dint watch enuf movjes
I hope Jamie's whanau get some answers.
The police didn't do their job - thats obvious. Once again appalling work ethic from our local establishment......
Its hard ti believe this cop doesnt care because he has a Maori name...wouldnt he? The way he stare into spsce before answering a question means he is trying to make up an answer...this story just sèems questionable
Laziness!
I hope she is found soon. Then this will define where and what happened to her!
Pray to God Whanau! He will give you answers and peace within your search for her.
Theres also the Physic people that's helped New Zealand
That whole town is fucked
The whole country is corrupt!
funny how the “high tech crime team” in wellington couldnt sweep a phone and laptop but her cousin could that’s baffling
Not really, easy to guess a password when it's your family.
He's thinking of connection but the family just want them to do their job and take it serious. Why should a grieving family member have to do their job? The cousin should take over that officers job, she's far more intelligent than him
Disgraceful effort by all police and high tech people who couldnt even get into her laptop and phone
DISGUSTING by the police. Definitely been paid off, blood is found in her room and car and it is still not treated as suspicious? The phone usage after she went missing??? The 9hr trips just to visit 5-10mins??? The fact her car was able to start straight away???? Terrible, never stop fighting whanau, somethings definitely not right
To summarise the police officers statement: "Um, ah, um, uhhh, u-umm, ah, um..."
6:24
And these "Maori wardens" have been fully investigated? Because some of them are dodgy af.
Any leads on that assumption 😮
She had MH issues so it’s easier for them to say oh suicide … no. Something happened to her! I hold hope they find out the truth ❤
Thinking the same thing. Either the cops were in on it and we're covering tracks or they're afraid to investigate because they fear for their safety.
@HIPHOPRNBBABY if they're covering it up, it'll be because the truth will destroy the narrative of "gangs are good people"
Did she go missing the same week the brittish backpacker Grace did? Now the media attention that case got was the complete opposite of this case
Nah this got heaps of attention.
yeah definitely there could have been a far better investigation at the beginning all the little details of the case seem strange the out of town trips would have been costly in petrol especially only staying for 5-10 minutes between towns rings alarms , blood found, no finger prints taken in her car, Someone using her phone after she went missing its suspicious, and alot of these leads should have been followed up more thoroughly regardless of her mental health and prior drug use, Thats only another factor doesnt mean this person hasnt gone missing because of somebody has taken her and harmed her thats still relevant, and without saying it out loud the Police did assume she had committed suicide otherwise why wouldnt there be more thorough testing and investigations, This is an assumption based solely on the way the investigation was handled.
Also her family said she was afraid of the water and never did go swimming.
E rongo ana ahau mo te whānau, me whakamātau rātau i tētahi psychic
In some of these cases, a family member that seems lovely can actually be on the dark side.
How did the high tech not get into her devices? Isn't that their job?
Facts lol her cousin did a better job getting into her account smfh
❤😢aroha to this whanau,
"we've spoken to a considerable amount of people" while he is shaking his head ... that's suspicious alright.
F.T.L force, poor whanau doing the mahi, that the n.z.p.f are required to do...But not showing good intentions of doing so...Kia kaha whanau.xx
That cop talks s#@t. He is shady as.
Maybe someone did something bad to her in retribution and police didn't think it was worth investigating because of her drug involvement and mental health issues
Aww
Her Whanau will never heal from this mess over Jamie.. How could they NZP
What sort of high tech team are we relying on here ??! Useless
Wow what Shity police work not doing there job so terrible obviously hiding something which is clearly obvious and not being truthful to the family what a disgrace.
