Hello there Mikey! I'm teary eye while hearing your mommy' s story. And remembering my daughter Amber RIP. She was diagnosed of Cancer leukemia when she was 6 years old. She earned her wings July 9 2014. My son Mazen then was only 5 years old. I still do not understand why she has to go too soon. Very hard for me to accept specially that last moment I huged and kissed her good bye.... Just broke my heart and knowing that I will never see her again 😪. But when I found your channel and became Mabuhay Squad, you gave me so much inspiration and happiness in my everyday life. I thank you for that Mikey and R J also my hugs to your mommy who fought cancer, brave and strong! May God Bless her more and more.

Mikey Bustos i saw you at viking niu last sunday with rj and mark. I wanted to take a selfie of us so bad but didnt want to disturb you while eating. We were celebrating my brother and cousin's bday there 😊 maybe i'll see you again somewhere.
I am also a 2 time breast cancer survivor. But mine is both from breast cancer. I do believe in what your mom said about being positive and family support. I like that she is very positive.
Your mom is an amazing woman! Thank God she is the fighter that she is. Much love and respect to her.
My sister was diagnosed with cervical cancer twice within the last 4 years. She went through chemotherapy the first time around and radiation during the second. She's been in remission for a little over a year now. What I've learned from this is life is short and enjoy every moment with the people you love. I'm glad your mom is cancer free ❤
Thanks God that your mom is a survivor. Unfortunately my mom lose her batle against cancer. We spend all our saving and even sell our properties for her treatment but still she died. You should cherishbthe moment with your mom why she still around. I miss my mom every single day since she died. She is everything to me.

I survived a stroke at 32. And it's true that being positive can help with recovery. It helped me a lot. Happy to know that your mom is a fighter.
I cried when your mom talks about cancer..😭😭 my mom died in cervical cancer, i was the one on her side, i see a lot of her pain.. your mom is lucky because i can see that you love your mom so much.. can you give my hug to your mom, tell her that fight, fight, fight..
What a great miracle it is that your mum had access to great care that caught cancer early enough to treat, and eradicate it!! I agree that positive thinking, pet therapy, and a lot of support is key. Two of my good friends died from cancer, but it was glorious. We got to see their true colours of bravery and determination. To me cancer was a blessing because it induced me to really stop and smell the roses, to appreciate what cannot be bought, and serve my friends.

Such a touching story. My mom was diagnosed with Stage 1 Early detection Breast Cancer in 2015. Doctors were able to remove the cancer & she is now cancer free. Sending lots of hugs to your Mom all the way from Guam 💜💜💜 #MabuhaySquadInGuam

Very happy your mom beat cancer twice. Here in Canada we do lots of charity work for Movember and for the Gutsy Walk (Crohns and Colitis) because a family member passed away due to cancer. We try to help anyway we can so there aren't more families going through the pain and heartache. We love watching you Mikey and are very happy to see your vlogs on your trip back to Canada!!!

God bless your Mom. It's very depressing to be diagnosed with cancer. It's nerve-racking and so depressing. I've seen and taken care of people suffering from Cancer. Only God knows when it's going to end. Meds and doctors are there, but only God can end someone's suffering. There is MAID, a medical process to end terminal cancer, but it will take a lot of studies and consideration before it can be approved to be done.
Congratulations and God bless to your Mom. I wish her and your family more happy years to live.

I'm happy for your mom Mikey.
My only tattoo is the Breast Cancer Ribbon over my heart. I got it in support of my young best friend. The first bout of breast cancer I convinced her husband to shave his head with me. We did it in solidarity with her until she grew her hair back. The second time I wanted to do something different to show support so I got my 1st and only tattoo. Sadly 3 years ago she lost her 16 year long battle with cancer. I worked a major cancer unit at a hospital for many years. Cancer sucks.....and here in the USA it usually financially ruins families...unlike Canada.

My grandma died of bone cancer. It was sad. I recommend watching Forks Over Knives and trying a plant based diet. That's great you are a survivor!! I have a mental illness, I would love to have a therapy cat, but I can't take care of them. My city is growing a LOT!!

I will let my grandma watch this, she is also suffering from cancer stage 3 in the ovaries. In God's Will we hope she will be ok soon ;) she in now on her 4th chemotherapy. We're also doing a ketogenic diet to help with her recovery. ;)

Have you tried batil patung or pancit cabagan, Mikey? Maybe your mom makes 'em mixed with the delicious yet complex igado. Igado is a distinctly Ilocano dish with bell peppers that is good on its own, but even better in the pancit.
This is all awesome to me, being from the South (Davao, Mindanao) and married to an Ilocano. Their food is so delicious, so complex and very savory. I'm super enjoying your latest videos.
My husband was like, "Oh, now it all makes sense. His mom is just like Papa; even the strictness." He's super entertained and amused by your family videos. Your mom reminds me of his aunt (also proudly Ilocano) who cooks very well. She makes the best pakbet (she taught me how, but she gets the best ingredients - like the vines and beans) with bagnet (Ilocano lechong kawali).
