    It’s still a very popular game that many people enjoy.. most of the points and statements in this video are literally just opinions lmao. I don’t get how it “failed” when it’s in the best spot it’s been in for a while.

    your video isn't bad. good clickbaity title, just inflammatory enough to make you wanna click. thumbnail could use a little more pop, but at the same time it has a certain nostalgic league aesthetic to it. but i was legitimately entertained watching your video. but i also had to pretend like i knew absolutely nothing about league to do that. i've been playing since season 3 when i was in my mid 20's. and i don't mean a few games every so often. i mean i'll easily play over 1,000 games a season. i've slowed down a bit these last few seasons. but i keep up with the game still. and, i'll admit, i can't really quit even if i wanted to (i don't want to) because it's basically the only game i feel comfortable streaming most of the time. i've also slowed down on that these past couple of years. i got hit by a hurricane and lost access to power and internet for about 6 months which kind of tanked my growth which kind of tanked my motivation a bit. and i just never worked my way back to being regular again, yet. it is what it is. but it's partly because league hasn't been as enjoyable for me these last few seasons. but not for any of the reasons you said. in fact, most of the reasons you've stated sound like you lack any real understanding of the game at all, are outright wrong, or they are reasons that aren't league specific and apply to many many many games, which to escape playing a game with those issues, you wouldn't have to just avoid league, you'd have to never play any online pvp game ever again. the reason i haven't been having as much fun is because the vast majority of the time, i feel like the other 9 players in my game are afk or just as well be. it isn't quite so engaging to be able to toy with my enemy laner like he's playing with no hands almost every single game. i once played 100 games with a friend one weekend last season and I literally did not see a single correct decision from either team in any of those games and there was a master ranked player in one of those games... so, you're very much not alone in not quite grasping the game. most of the other players don't either. but if you're going to make a video like this on it, you're gonna have to do your reps. there's a lot to complain about in this game. and you'll find that no one hates this game more than the people that love this game. when it's even at least somewhat good, it's amazing. but when it's bad, it's misery... you are correct in advising new players away from the game though. i tell people to not start as well. if the warnings are enough to keep them away from the game, then most likely they weren't going to have the drive to actually learn the game proper anyway.
    tldr, keep up with the videos. i think you have a knack for it. just maybe don't make these types of videos on something like league until you learn it more... but i also would not advise learning it more. you might think you hate league now. it gets so much worse.

    It’s a 15 year old moba, of course it’s toxic, at this point the toxicity is part of the experience. To enjoy the game in its current form you need to be a sadist/masochist.

      Or just press mute in games where people are toxic lmfao.

    • @stankobarabata2406
      @stankobarabata2406 16 дней назад

      @@Dr.Junk. Mute doesn't stop the feeding and hostaging mate. Words are less than nothing for anyone who grew up in CoD lobby era. It's the repeat toxic gameplay that's negatively impacting enjoyment. When 3/5 botlanes would rather just give up at 5 minutes and start feeding/afking and trolling other lanes, how can I mute that part? You can't, and that's the primary problem with this game. Punishments are too lenient. And that's another problem, people just love abusing the report system against anyone they don't like.
      So companies just resort to automating it because every game someone is reporting someone else falsely or not, and the end result is a weak punishment system that both does not do enough and is abusable as was the case with that girl streamer who got hostaged for 3 hours, trolled to oblivion, then was mass reported by everyone maliciously for no reason, and the bot just auto-bans her because of the volume of reports and Riot will not give it a second look until you complain on Twitter or whatever, and even then you'll probably get ignored or said it's justified. Riot's support was always dodgy anyway. I lost my account to a leak of their own, asked for ways to get it back, and got ignored all the way. More or less told "Make a new account, we don't care that you lost skins it's not our problem".

    I see alot of things wrong with this video... It's well made, but the main point of the video was your opinion on the game state rather than the problems League actually presents. One of the biggest things I noticed is that you have a sour opinion about the game because you never learned how to play properly. You don't sound like an experienced player at all and that in itself is fine, but when you're going to complain about problems in this game not as an experienced player, you arguments are going to fall flat on their faces. For example, the fact that you don't like when people use acronyms to describe elements in the game, like roles. A big thing about League is that there's alot to learn and if you don't wanna learn all of it, then it isn't the game for you. Learning and putting time into any video game is part of the process, and League is not the only game that does this, literally every video game is going to have it's own language. What are healing pots? Pots are short for potions. What is HP? It's an acronym for health points. This isn't a problem, it's an aspect to video game culture. Complaining about it in League's case is just short-sided.
    Furthurmore, I noticed a lot of holes in your argument in the gameplay. You complain about how there are champions who have kits that seem to not have counters to them like Mordekaiser and Warwick and how you die to champions that catch you out like the Akali clip. In the case of midlane, as most of you clips came from that lane, you said that for characters that are strong early game, there's nothing you can do, etc etc. Sorry if this is going to come off as insensitive, but you're just a bad player. In the Kassadin clips, you are trying to challenge the Brand who is beating you in lane. If you lose, okay fine. Go impact the map in another way: push your wave and roam, gank top or bot, help your jg, put some wards down. Late game, if you farm well and keep up in levels, as Kassadin, you will beat the Brand and carry the game. This is part of learning how to play. But what do you do? You keep challenging him and failing because you are not playing well. Even in the Teemo clip, you run up with no vision, jg and mid are gone, and they catch you out and then you say "Oh, broken champ, cant do anything." No. That's not the reason.
    Also, I know at the end of the video, you said that you need to play like you're playing ranked even if you're playing norms. I get that to an extent. In terms of playing the game optimally, that will just come with time and experience. When it comes to toxicity, I understand. Everyone knows that League is toxic, but it seems that you label the game as toxic enough that everyone wants to hold you hostage, which isn't true. Majority of your games are going to be fairly tame and just people playing for themselves. Learning to deal with the toxicity is honestly not that hard, and it's not just League that's toxic; literally every other competitive video game is going to have some level of toxicity. Counter Strike, Overwatch, Valorant, Rust, Sea of Thieves, hell even Minecraft are all going to have toxic players. Riot is honestly pretty good at shutting toxic people down. The Afreeca situation was just an example of the worst League can get, but to blame that on League is misleading. First, there's always been a misogyny in video games. It's disgusting and not funny, but it's there, not just in League as well. She was streaming, and the ban was lifted after devs looked into the situation, and the stream snipers were actually permanently banned.
    League hasn't "failed", it's simple that there are better games out there to play. Wanna talk about a failed game? Look at Overwatch. Look at Battlerite. League is popular not JUST because it's addicting, it's complicated and strategic. Riot has always made quality games and sure, the company is going through some problems right now, but who's to say that they don't deliver on their promises, because they do. They take a while, but the games they make have always been good, and League is no exception. It was well-maintained to modern video game standards.
