Thanks for the questions in the comment section - Hang loose... Heidi will review and reply shortly!!
Hey Bro, I love your show. You have so many wonderful topics, great food, drinks, and party places. Oh, the Filipino ladies are beautiful 😻
I'm so happy to hear you are continuing to enjoy the content. I'll have some more diverse stuff coming up as I usually travel and hit the beaches during the summer here.
Great discussion. Very helpful. 👍🏻
I'm happy to hear you found it helpful. She's the best.
Hey my brother you always have great topics. I enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for sharing ✌🏾!
My pleasure. I love the Philippines, and i like producing videos. I'm glad to hear you are watching and enjoying the content.
Great video! I appreciate the information. I've been thinking I'd have to get the SRRV-Classic, but I learned about the SRRV-Expanded Courtesy (saves $8,500). That rocks! Thanks!
I'm glad it was helpful. The tourist visa is easy, the other visas can be a real headache.
Hey, Heidi....I was surprised to see you with, Eric but he's wise to feature you on his channel. I know I've told you this before but you are a consummate professional yet so down to earth and knowledgeable. Congratulations, Eric on putting this amazing woman on your channel as a benefit to all those who watch you. I've consulted with her before and she has always been forthcoming with detailed information which can be very challenging in the Philippines. Take care and hope to see you both soon!
Surprise... What's a classy gal like you doing on this quasi-degenerates channel?? Seriously though, it's always my pleasure to produce content with Heidi. She's great to work with, has the best advice, and is totally down to Earth and professional.
@@itsManilaBaybee Eric...you're just showing a part of the nightlife scene in Makati so no judgements here. Just never scene this type of informative video on your channel. That whole area around P. Burgos is like a mini Pattaya. I took my Filipina in one of the bars there and she was out of place to say the least. You have great content and if I weren't already with a lovely Filipina would love to join, you for a night out.
@deantucker1464 I hear you. This channel used to be more about travel and lifestyle; and changing lifestyle, or the simple interests of the Philippines experience. But because of lockdown and work mostly, I ended up traveling less and going out more. I never intended it to be nightlife and dining related lifestyle, it just sort of evolved. But I'll get back to travel and island life this summer for a bit. Sometimes my girl and I double date, nice dinner, cocktails or wine/cigars somewhere nice, and then dancing. sometimes just playing pool and beers. It doesn't always have to be a blowout, so you can still bring your girl
@@deantucker1464 Many years ago I used to publish more of this type of informative content. Experiences in Immigration, commuting via ferry or MRT/LRT, getting condos, bank accounts, and liquidating an American lifestyle to become a minimalist to move here as a digital nomad. I still have digital nomad playlists, minimalism playlists, and FMA, or health and fitness transformation playlists on the channel. Check out the old stuff... It is (and I am) totally different🔽

@@itsManilaBaybee Oh that would be cool! I think our girls are about the same age. BTW...yours is sure a little cutie! I think it's a great idea for you to go back and maybe redo some previous content since so much has changed, but I know you probably make more income from the nightlife stuff...anyway...I'll be moving to PH permanently in June so hope t I meet you and your girl in the not too distant future. Oh...BTW...if you have any questions about the K-1 Visa process, I've gone through it twice, once for myself and once for a good buddy/brother. I recently divorced my Filipina wife and so did my brother. Long stories!
Great information….good to know…thank you.💪🏼🙏👍🏆
🤩
Thanks 👍

Thats so cool.... I love this video....
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the video. It's a great visa opportunity for foreigners.
Heidi - You seem intelligent, so thank you for your time in this video. I appreciate you.
My question is I served in the US Army Reserve (which is part-time duty) . I was Honorably Discharged at the end of my 8 year enlistment.
To my knowledge, I am not a Veteran because my understanding is that a Army Reservist must be called up (activated) to serve at least 6 months of active duty during wartime to be given Veteran status.
If it does turn out that I do not have veteran status from my reserve duty, do I still qualify for the SRRV Expanded Courtesy?
Eric - Do you know if I qualify for this Visa?
Hi, I don't know. But I forwarded your message. Hopefully Heidi or one of her team will review and advise soon. You can always try the link in the video to go directly to the source.
dunno if she ever got back to you bro, but service is service. If you completed basic and AIT, did your full time, and got a DD-214 at the end of your service, and it was honorable (or under honorable conditions), you are a veteran and entitled to most benefits accordingly. There are a few benefits that require activation to have occured, and a few others that require overseas service, but generally speaking, the VA will recognize any veteran with an honorable DD-214 from active, reserve, or national guard as veterans pretty much equally.
@@timothymorrison906 She did not get back to me. So thank you so very much for your great, thorough reply! It is such a great, welcomed news.
I did complete Basic Training, followed immediately by AIT Advanced Individual Training. I completed my required 8 years of Reserve Duty (which was duty one weekend a month, and two or three weeks duty in the summers, a few of those summers being in Japan and Germany, the others stateside). I do have an honorable mention DD-214.
👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 good info 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
She is the go-to gal for Visa info.
@@itsManilaBaybee 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
My understanding is the first visa renewal is 29 days not 30 . Then you can do 60 after that i also think its worth noting you can choose not to go to immigration your self and use a travel agent .
Some things have changed in the last year or two. Let's see what Heidi says when she checks the comments. I don't think they allow for a 60-day extension after the first 30 [or 29?] day extension anymore.
You just have to go by the date they stamp, and make sure to be there on, or before that date. Noting that they aren't open on the weekends or holidays.
There's also a retireee visa if you are under 50 yo, but it's more expensive, correct? Or did they get rid of this one maybe?
There are still a couple of them available
Do you still need a return airline ticket in the first month even if planning to stay longer?
You need a return or onward ticket to fly in. They won't let you in without an onward or return ticket. They used to not even let you board the plane to fly here without one.
@@itsManilaBaybee I know you need a return, I meant can the return be in 3 months if planning to stay 3 months or does the return have to be within the first month
@@CarlCrez That is a good question. I can't say definitively, but I think that would work. Because the last time I came in from Thailand, I overheard the guy in front of me with the immigration officer and this was the topic of the conversation. And they let him through. It seems they just want to be assured you have the onward/return ticket. Let's see what Heidi says when she reviews the comments.
@@CarlCrez The more I think about it, the more it makes sense. Why would they deny you entry if you had a future return ticket?? They know they offer extensions up to 3 years. And a guy I know here stays for 6 months every year, and he only ever buys a roundtrip ticket.
Interested to know about traveling from island to island via motorcycle and the costs and ferries to make it happen? Thanks
Comparitively, It's rather inexpensive. I don't have exact costs, but depending on the ferry service, destination, the size of the boat, the length of the trip, there may, or may not be room on the boat of you haven't purchased your ticket in advance.
I remember taking a car from iloilo to Guimaras it was like ₽1,500. And I think it was ₽500 to take a motorcycle from batangas to Puerto Galera.
The pricing information should be available on their websites. But websites are awful here. Most businesses just have a Facebook page.
Hello Heidi thanks for this info, are you single am coming to MNL next week❤
Welcome to the Metro - As far as I know, she is not single. We were talking about our significant others after we shot this video. But... Times change - Never hurts to ask.
I’m looking to get my Marriage visa started for my wife to the US, does she provide consulting for this and if not give a referral??much appreciated
Very likely, and if not, she can provide a referral.
WHAT CONDO IS THAT BUDDY ? IS IT IN BGC ? WHAT ARE THE RENT PRICES IN THAT CONDO ,THANKS
There were a few BGC condos featured, and prices vary widely. Depends on many factors. Size of the condo, floor, balcony, # BR/BA, washer/dryer, location, 1st time renter, have a PI Checking account for example. But you likely won't find a studio less than $500, and a 2 BR will be closer to, or over $1,000.
@@itsManilaBaybee thx bro
when is the nomad visa coming to the philippines?
I can't say (it's the Philippines, and nothing runs on schedule here), but hit up Heidi at CG Consulting, she would know more about that than I do.
No visit to Lips? 💋
It's too loud to have a discussion like this there.
Cambodia is easier. 30 day stamp at airport (2 minutes) then a 6 month business visa and a 12 month business visa extension after. Thats through a private passport agency that will pick up and drop off your passport. So easy, and the cost is about $1.25 a day indefinitely and that includes a legal work permit which is good for sole proprietor (artist, youtuber, anything). Basically no paperwork, no waiting, no hidden fees, no immigration offices. This is through a passport agency that does all the paperwork for you. I was in PH for 2 years and I can say for sure its soooooo much easier in Cambodia. I will admit though, yeah PH is way easier than places like Thailand.
Good to hear that. How’s your social life with Cambodians? Could you understand their English?
Cool, thanks for the tip. But what if I don't want a business visa? My 9G work visa in the PI requires me to pay local taxes. How is their tourist visa?
@@itsManilaBaybee I just apply for a business visa and use it as a tourist visa for long term stay. Anyone can get the business permit if you are a RUclipsr, artist on FB, or consultant etc. It’s just easier and cheaper then applying for a ”tourist” visa
@@JunBermz everyone I talk to speaks English here in Cambodia. Every business, every local, Every date. To me it’s exactly same as the PH. And the same with the PH…the younger people are, the more likely they are to speak fluent English because of social media and RUclips etc on smart phones
@@Mikeycambovideos Good to hear that. I asked because I have a Cambodian coworker here in the states and he could be barely understood by everyone even if he has been here for almost 30 years.
