My God shot this morning is how great is the infinite grace, mercy, and patience of God through the ages. He promises to restore us if we repent and return to Him - our only hope.

My Godshot is just a heart of gratefulness that He has allowed me life and to be able to serve Him and worship Him. I think about being one of those who get to speak Hebrew one day and am in awe that that through His blood, I’ll get to be a part of that.

LORD, have mercy on me. Keep me from being complacent and rebellion and ignoring You. I know it hurts, but please purify me with Your consuming fire. Let my heart be pure before You. May my worship be in Spirit and in Truth. Be glorified in my life in Jesus' name Amen

Aloha, praise the Lord and good morning BR family. 1 Samuel 2:2, There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God". We are not perfect; only God is. I always ask God for forgiveness of my past, present and future sins. He paid the ultimate price for our sins. Pray and keep the faith, trust, and hope in the Lord--He is where the JOY is!!

God give me humility. Give me more faithand trustin You and Your perfect plan.
All the wonderful aspects of this life I have are from You. I am so grateful for my friends, family, my circumstances, my body, and mostly that You led me to a relationship with You. Thank You for Your Word and for the Bible Recap. Thank You God, in Jesus's name. Amen.

What does God’s voice sound like? In Zeph 3:17, His voice is a song! It’s a song that calms our fears, a song of delight, gladness, and joy. He sings His song near us, for He will “live among us” (Zeph 3:17). And who are we, but His “scattered people who live beyond the rivers of Ethiopia” (Zeph 3:10). All of us will “have our speech purified” (Zeph 3:9), all “who are humble and seek to do what is right” (Zeph 2:3). Perhaps we’re all singing one language, God’s own tongue, the dialect of the prophets and Jesus Himself: one voice, raised in thanks for His salvation and protection.

In Zeph 3:9, He purifies the speech of the nations, so all may worship Him together. Perhaps we speak Hebrew in Heaven, and sing and praise in unity. God heals, restores, and brings wholeness.

This verse was my God shot. That one day He will UNITE us in language to call on Him, to serve Him. What a day indeed. This is in contrast to the Tower of Babel where He DIVIDED the people and confused their language because man was trying to make a name for themselves.
““For at that time I will change the speech of the peoples to a pure speech, that all of them may call upon the name of the Lord and serve him with one accord.”
      ‭‭Zephaniah‬ ‭3‬:‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

In 3:7 God says “I said, ‘Surely you will fear me; you will accept correction. Then your dwelling would not be cut off according to all that I have appointed against you.’ But all the more they were eager to make all their deeds corrupt.” But then in verse 8 He says “Therefore wait for me.” After God has assembled the nations, poured out His wrath and the world is consumed by fire, then Jerusalem be left for the humble and lowly. “But I will leave in your midst a people humble and lowly. They shall seek refuge in the name of the Lord,” Zephaniah‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬

    Day 218
    Zephaniah 1-3
Today we finished our 24th book of the Bible.
Zephaniah was a minor prophet who was a great great grandson of Judah’s King Hezekiah.
That makes him a distant relative of king Josiah, who is presently king during the writing of this book.
He starts out with destruction. He warns Judah about the upcoming judgment. He calls the people out on how they mingle the worship of Yahweh with the worship of false gods.
Zephaniah warned them that the day of judgment is coming. He promises judgement on the wicked and also the complacent. Their complacency stems from their belief that God is passive and won’t do anything.
They carelessly live their lukewarm lives.
Chapter 2 He urges them to repent and seek the Lord.
Those who are humble seek righteousness and humility.
This verse speaks of the day of their judgment and the upcoming Day of the Lord.
I can also see the parallel of how it could speak warning to the United States in its current wicked state :
“before the decree takes effect -before the day passes away like chaff- before there comes upon you the burning anger of the Lord, before there comes upon you the day of the anger of the Lord. Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land, who do His just commands; seek righteousness; seek humility; perhaps you may be hidden on the day of the anger of the Lord.”Zephaniah 2:2-3
Look how it says the word before multiple times.
Seek Him do these things before the judgment happens.
He warns the nations around Judah also.
Chapter 3 describes the stubborn people of Jerusalem as faithless, stubborn and proud.
They accept no voice or correction. No seeking of God.
Humility, teachability and nearness to God all go hand-in-hand.
Verse 4 talks about the wicked leaders.
God gave them chance after chance to repent but they refuse.
God promises to save people from among all nations.
The people don’t know it yet, but God has a plan to save all the people from their sins through Jesus.
God has promised to reserve a remnant of His people.
He promises there will be a day when we will never again fear evil. He banishes fear with His presence. He resources over his people with singing and quiets them with His love. He changes shame into praise.
God does for us what we can’t do for ourselves.
God’s patience and grace truly is amazing.

At that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps and punish those who are complacent, who are like wine left on its dregs, who think, ‘The Lord will do nothing, either good or bad.’ Their wealth will be plundered, their houses demolished. Though they build houses, they will not live in them; though they plant vineyards, they will not drink the wine.” The great day of the Lord is near- near and coming quickly. The cry on the day of the Lord is bitter; the Mighty Warrior shouts his battle cry. Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them on the day of the Lord’s wrath.” In the fire of his jealousy the whole earth will be consumed, for he will make a sudden end of all who live on earth.
    Zephaniah 1:12‭-‬14‭, ‬18
Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land, you who do what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the Lord’s anger.
    Zephaniah 2:3 NIV

God is wrath, and He is just. Sin must be dealt with, and the Lord will deal with it with a heavy hand. But, His wrath serves the purpose of bringing those who are called back to Him with hearts that are broken and repentant. God will raise up a remnant who will worship Him in spirit and truth from among Israel and from the other nations. Help us, Father God, to be ready for the "Day" that is to come. In Jesus' name, Amen 🙏🏽.

The guys that was building the tower of babel thought wrong.
God commanded the human race to be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth.
God want humans to spread horizontally but they wanted to spread vertically so God has to change their tounges.
The different languages we speak in the world today wasn't God's initial plan. That just happened so we can spread all over the earth as God commanded.
But today we can see most nations can speak English, we're gradually getting back to how God want it.
As it's written in Zephaniah today. We shall speak 1 language.
Well, no one knows the language, probably English, Hebrew or Heavenly

In chapter one, the people gather themselves together and it does not go well. In chapter three, the LORD gathers His people together and restores them to fellowship with Him. All the scriptures point to Christ's redeeming sacrifice; and He didn't need any help, ya'll.

Zeph. 1:2-3 & 18 states that God "will sweep away everything from the face of the earth" and "the whole earth will be consumed by the fire of his jealousy". But, I thought God promised Noah in Gen. 8:21 that he would "never again strike down every living thing."
