This mcc has so many good plays its hard to list them all in a top 10
was watching gem live oml when i tell you i was stressing
getting 3 kills with a creeper> winning 3 rounds of skyb and 700 coins in rsr apparently
yeah but being consistent doesnt mean its a top play if theyre a really good player theyre already expected to do well where as someone like scar pulling off the kills with creepers isnt something he could normally pull off but illuminas 3 wins def shouldve been on here

Literally each of the teal turkeys had their moment in this mcc and came in the top 10 list. It's absolutely amazing.
It's also amazing that the only two games that they lost in battle box was featured here as well. But yeah they all were insane, two top 10, all top 15
Goes to show how much was a team effort as opposed to Ginger or Emerald who had Purpled and Illumina pop off

@@rocknerd_ Exactly. One player wasn't carrying them, it was the vibes of the whole team that carried them. Very similar to Cap's MCC 18; All around a fantastic team of friends that made them do well.

The fact that Joel, Grian, Zeuz, and NOW Jimmy have pulled off a 1v3 before ANY S-Tier could is pretty amazing
I think it's impossible for an S tier to do it. Because to do it you need to be the last one alive on your team, and the S tiers are first targets.
Then again, lots of S-Tier players are targeted because of the arrow-funneling strategy lmao
Joel is a s-tier although maybe not when he 1v3ed

It makes no sense that Illumina surviving all three rounds of Sky Battle isn't on the list, not even in the honorable mentions. It's the first time that's ever been done.
i backseated so hard during his live thing i thought i was gonna get banned during sky battle lol but he actually reads chat

Illumina popped off so much this event, 3960 coins is insane. Kinda sad that he lost

I’m confused why illumina got a spot for fastest lap when purpled won the whole thing, and purpled got a spot when he aced, but illumina aced 4 times lol. I feel like the 9/9 should’ve gotten it’s own spot
i also feel like illumina winning all 3 rounds of sky battle is way more impressive than him getting the fastest lap in ace race

Illumina didn’t even steal many kills out of his 21; he just out-1v1ed everyone, even 1v2ing at some times. He is truly just built different

Purpled popped off this MCC!! Sad they didn't make it to DB after being in the top 2 teams for most of the championship, but it was a very good MCC nonetheless!!

I’m ngl I think purpled was kinda unfairly left out of this vid.. like some of his plays were wayyyy more instance than the ones in the vid
I think Purpled's reputation sometimes kind of hurts him with these things. They're picking 10-ish clips within a day of the event and seeing someone doing well who is expected to perform well anyway doesn't stand out as much as it should, unfortunately. But that doesn't mean that he didn't still have some impressive plays this MCC.
you have to consider the fact that its gonna be hard to choose only ten plays and a few honorable mentions so unfortunately there will be plays that get left out. But i think that when it comes to players like purpled if hes doing consistent it doesnt mean its a top play

@@Nyx_404 if im gonna be completely honest i looked at jimmys thumbnail for the stream and got worried cuz of jimmys team. it looked like he was just put with strangers to him but they did really well. they had the most all things mcc top plays and they won
I’m so glad people aren’t sleeping on jimmy anymore. Like I’ve been watching him for 5 years and he’s always been great but didn’t get that much exposure for a while. Teal turkeys was a great team and I’m glad they all had their moment to pop off instead of a team just being carried

@@DaytonBalls I think this helped in a way, because these strangers would not put the usual labels his usual friends/teammates use on him, and gave him space and freedom to do more without being made fun of, even if it's all done in good spirits. It almost felt like he gave himself permission to be competitive and boy did it work out well for Teal!

I'm going to miss Owen on these videos but I'm super excited to see what he has planned next. He's really grown into a fantastic creator on his own in the past year.
I feel like this MCC brought out the best in a lot of unexpected people. Maybe it's because it's the last one for a little while or maybe it's because of the holiday/end of the year hype, whatever the reason, it just felt a little more special.

DEFINITELY the best play was when the mcc server was down and Tubbo went to tubnet and was able to win a Crystal Rush round in like a minute.

The gingerbreadmen had all their players in top 5! I was honestly shocked at the ace! Their battle box was amazing
They weren't even predicted to do all that well lol, Teal and Emerald were a lot stronger on paper but everyone on Ginger really popped off :D
What makes it even sweeter for me is that it was Bek and Impulse's second event ever, and both of their first canon events

IDK if you guys noticed this: The first time Jordan won in MCC was with Tommy, then his team in MCC 28 won against Tommy's team in Snowbolt. The first time Punz won was with Illumina, and Illumina is one of Tommy's teammates in this event.
