Thank you so much for the expanded views! I know it’s more work for you, and the effort is appreciated! Now I’m rethinking my table as it never occurred to me to do anything other than straight fabric. 🤔😂
Hi Sarah I have been following you for some time! I am a novice sewer, but interested in show stitching and embroidery, I really enjoy what you are doing, thank you for sharing! 🌹
I’m afraid I won’t be able to participate in this project. Arthritis in my hand and knees prevent handling such a big project. I will watch the videos and enjoy everyone else’s work. I love how creative you all are.
I am still choosing background fabric so this video is very helpful. Back in 1969 I took an art class as I wanted to be an art major. lol. A good part of the class was around a still life that we did in different mediums. Amazingly enough I still have my work from this class. I do like the table in my drawings that I will use for inspiration. Fun journey. ❤❤❤
Rachel, thank you so much for explaining the project better. Your layout is so creative, love that it's your idea, thanks for sharing, take care, big hugs Rachel.
Your background is really coming together now Rachel. Thank you for clarifying the situation regarding this project so far. I'm not on Facebook at the moment, taking a mental health break but I've noticed on my RUclips feed, videos popping up from people following this project and so many of them were showing vases of flowers already in place. I was getting very confused as to what was going on, as I'd watched your previous video and I was sure you'd said the first 3 weeks was working on the background and the table. I've been searching between you and Sarah trying to find the video about a vase and flowers which I thought I'd somehow missed. I haven't even started my project yet, I have ideas floating round in my head but no clear direction, I haven't even decided on my measurements for the size of my piece of work, so until I make a clear decision I'm not doing anything, plenty of time to make a start.
So very enjoyable and educational as you give all permission to work freely. Loving the texture that you are already adding with the folds in the fabrics. Looking forward to the additions once all is stitched. Thank you, as always, for sharing.🥰💖
Looking so. Good Rachel. I think the white hand towel would look great as a second cloth over the bottom tablecloth. This is how in times gone, people, always covered their table and when laying to,eat would add usually a white tablecloth which was smaller. Just my thoughts x
I think some have fast forwarded to their still life objects because maybe like me, they want them to be compatible with their other elements . Love the concept .
Rachel: as an interior designer, I’m most interested in knowing where in your apartment/flat you intend to hang this large artistic expression of your genius creative talent? This seems to me to be a tapestry-like piece hanging from a rod/pole. Is that your plan? Between you and your sister, I’m always so pleased to see how both of you handle the projects. Brilliant! I think this is going to be gorgeous 😍 Wondering whether you could pin this to your wall to make it easier to film? Would be easier than spreading it on your desk x

Hugs,
