I agree, I checked 3 times there was no light reflecting on the surface, also given the fact that the bike has no mirrors im questioning whether it is even street legal in the first place.
Yeah, unfortunately the biker still might win his case, or at least something out of it because the car diid fail to yield regardless. Just depends on the judge and the cops who they are going to side with.

if you look at the road right under the front of the bike, it looks like there is something that is lighting up the area, but its either really dim or the light is aimed really high. regardless, there's next to nothing
at 4:10 for a frame you can see the lights on the ground pretty well and lit up. at lest for me, I think the girl probably just didn't want it to be her fault though

Another excellent video! As a former MSF instructor, gotta say… *please* don’t flip off those people who drive around in their insulated metal cages! I don’t care how good a rider you are, don’t care how innocent you think you were, having a nutjob in a metal cage chasing you is not fun. The best policy is to only make hand signals at other motoriders. PS - the Harley riders who don’t wave are just mad they’re still making payments.
I think they should provide some basic riding instruction in the cages classes. Basic information like why riders use different lane positions or offset at stop lights so they don’t get crushed between vehicles.
Perhaps MSF can use their connections with driver licensing to add two simple questions to the written test.
@@Scottie8740 That’s a good idea. Doing anything to make cage operators more aware of 2-wheeled vehicles is a good thing. 👍🏼

@@stevewalker2028 I watch a ton of motorcycle videos. The one skill it would be nice to see people work on is swerving a motorcycle. Close calls would still be close but, hopefully, not SO close. 🤷🏻♂️

In the UK, unless it is murder, the Police no longer attend or care. Burglary, street theft/assault, shop lifting, motorcycle, bicycle and car theft is an epidemic in my local town. The Police station is closed almost all of the time, very rare to find it open.
They don't have time for "petty crime". This country is shameful.

That roundabout at 16:16 is in my home town, not many people can navigate it properly even though it's MAD signposted! I've got footage from a couple angles there😂

@@TheHMSBros it's the exact opposite of complicated mate; road signs, painted lanes/arrows, it's very easy to manage. A lot of it is bad lane discipline
Most round abouts left lane is for 1st or 2nd exit unless otherwise indicated by road makings and sinage or unless the 2nd exit is past 12 o'clock on your approach. Right lane is for 3rd or subsequent exits. I can't see any sinage on this clip but there does appear to be straight on arrows on both lanes on the roindabout approach which is unusual unless thrre are 2 lanes exiting and if that's the case I really can't see anything the car driver did wrong? He didn't even cut to the right on the roundabout. It looks more to me like the bikers fucked up going too fast on the approach then guy infront panic braked when he really didn't need too and caught his buddie out who was traveling to fast and too close on the approach also. Perhaps there is sinage further back before the clip starts that shows otherwise but from what you can see in the clip looks like bikers fucked up so can't see why the car driver paid for damage?
@@keithlynch8319car entered the roundabout in the left turn only lane. There is a big sign just before the roundabout and arrows clearly marking lanes. Wouldn't have happened if not for the car
@@GazzManX2 ah yes, I see now the marking in the left lane is left turn, car did balls up and I noticed the car stopped behind him after the bike crashed was pulling the same move. As a biker of almost 30 years now myself although the car was in wrong I do think the bikers could have anticipated that a little better and avoided the end result, you got to expect the unexpected all the time especially at junctions and on roundabouts, at least the car driver opened up and covered the damages

Can't wait till I get a new adventurer bike. Just found out yesterday the new Himalayan has a new engine with real world power and 6 spd transmission. Waiting for prices as I've been quoted AUD20k for the V-Strom fully kitted. That's the same price as my 3 year old car almost.

Right. They can sure dish it out, but can't take it. I can't help but notice the Euphoria and laughter when they narrowly escape certain death or permenant crippling injury. There are old riders, and there are bold riders. But there are NO old bold riders. I'm 79 and still ride. 22 MC's to my credit. Have ridden since high school. And yes, my diploma was on a scroll.

You could be the most careful rider out there, but it's the idiot who blows through a red or a stop, or pulls out from nowhere right in front of you, that sends you to Valhalla. For a long time already, but *especially* after The Plague, the IQ of everyone on the road must've dropped a good 50-60pts. I'm done. I want lots of metal and crumple-zones between me and the outside.
