YES!! YES!! YES!! This was the video I've been looking for. My table lift has been out of commission for 3 months and I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. I just did as instructed in your video and it's working again! Thank you!

excellent video. that was the trick. 24mm socket head needed for that big bolt to come out on my model. be careful as there is a spring and I assume small parts that can shoot out. Also, put a pan or at least a cardboard box underneath to capture the spilled jack fluid. trust me, you will need it. IF you do not take off the table top, secure it with a rope, or it may fall and take off your fingers.

I bought the 500lb table and had the problem of the table not going down when the handle was squeezed. Being familiar with hydraulic pumps and rams, I did not read their instructions on bleeding, merely added fluid and bled the air out. But the table would barely creep down when the handle was depressed. Me and a friend picked the table up and placed it on my workbench. I put the table up and locked the release handle to the full down position. Next was to check how far the swivel mechanism was depressing the plunger when the handle was depressed. I then pushed a common screw driver between the swivel and plunger and levered the plunger further down. The table top started coming down at a very nice rate. I then adjusted the cable ends to the extreme out position and the top comes down at a rapid rate (just fast enough for me). I have also heard (and experienced) about models with the rubber plug on the oil fill being extremely hard to get back in. When I had the table on the bench, the plug was removed and the level checked. Afterwards I took some sandpaper and rounded the very bottom edge where in would just fit in the hole. As I was reinstalling the plug, I noticed inside the whole there appeared to be two of three threads. I then put the plug into the hole and instead of trying pushing it in, I screwed it in and it went right in with no hassles. I think the manufacturer would have a lot less returns if they would just go over possible problems in the manual (and have an english speaking engineer write them), as most are easy fixes. Of course you are paying for it to perform properly out of the box, but, in many cases fixing small problems are easier that a return and possible wait for another one.

Very helpful. I used the bleeding instructions that came with the unit (i.e. fill the cylinder when the table is up) and the table wouldn't lower. This makes much more sense.

Thank you for saying the instructions for bleeding are wrong! I suspected the same.
Bought one of these new and it says to bleed it before use. It also squeaked pretty bad when jacking up, so I figured to bleed it.
I followed the instructions, but the table wouldn't lower afterwards. To my chagrin, I pushed down on the table, which lowered it, but popped the rubber filler bolt out and sprayed hydraulic fluid all over the cart and my garage floor as well! Doh!
Seems to me these shouldn't be filled up all the way, only add a small amount.
My cart works fine now and no longer squeaks when jacking it up, as it did out of the box.

    Just got this yesterday. (9-28-23)
Assembled it according to instructions and pump the foot pedal and ….nothing.
    Pumped it 60+ times. Nothing.
Lifted the table up by hand and it goes about 1/2 way up and no further
I’m going to try this method tomorrow.
First I have to go to the hardware store to get hydraulic fluid and I think I’ll get a rubber sealing washer for that screw too.

Did you add the screw to the fluid fill hole or did it come that way ? - They usually have the rubber plug.

Just picked one up yesterday and it has a black screw. I've been using it out of the box and haven't bled or added any hydraulic fluid. Seems to work fine with the exception that the table won't lower without some weight on it. (pushing on it by hand works although slowly)

What if the Table only goes up half way....do I bleed it a couple of times hoping it will go higher after the first bleed ...? 👍

Remove the cable and pull the wire from the housing. Go to a small engine shop with the wire and buy new wire. Ace may also carry the same gauge wire. Put the wire back through the housing and reattach to the lift. The wire and housing a common stock at shops that use them.
