It all depends on if you bought "Figure Converter" before the new Daz got released. Figure Converter was sold in the store before the new Premier was offered. I hope you can someday make subscribing to the new Premier worth your money. Best to you! 🌞
Hi. Good video. I was just wondering what tool you are using in the top right corner with the colour icons that you seem to select content from? Thanks.
The Daz plugin is "Visual Menus" I started using categories instead and figured categories would usurp my use of Visual Menus but I find I still use Visual Menus a lot. Wait till they are on sale... They are buggy though, and in my case they can freeze up Daz when I get ahead of myself and click too repetitively on them, especially while background processes are running, but I still depend on them HUGELY as you can see. I have made whole videos on Visual Menus a few videos back in the "live" section of my channel. I do recommend them highly and I hope they are useful for you! They are kind of hard but fun setting them up and if you watch my videos on them they should help you get the use of them completely down. Welcome to the channel and hope to see you in the live chat @SkyBlueRob1! Thanks for the comment/question!
Hi CJeff99! I also own CC and IClone (I paid a fortune for them) but I prefer Daz Studio. CC and IClone are for minimalizing textures and geometry so characters can be animated with less resources. Daz is about making the geometry as detailed as possible and the texture layers as real so hyper real scenes can be created with the many Daz assets that they sell in the Daz Store incredibly inexpensively. If you are not so much into making games and animations but more into making scenes then Daz has it hands down. I prefer to mostly work on scenes and I dabble in animations which I can also do in Daz Studio. Thanks for the question/comment please subscribe and join us in the live chat! Best to you! 🙋♂
To be fair, the new premier version may fix some stability issues and some certainly do remain while it may also introduce new stability issues. This is why it is pertinent that we support the programmers by contributing directly to them and paying for Daz Studio rather than just using it for free. We can only hope that our money is actually used to improve the program and not just used to pay lush salaries for CEOs and speculative stockholders. Thanks for the comment @a.m.studios6126 ! ⭐
You can import .obj files and you can import a few .fbx items, but it mostly works to export from Daz to Lightwave. I haven't used Lightwave in years so I am not that up on what can be exported to Daz. I just know the Daz .fbx import rarely, if ever, works. Thanks for the question @m0osebeard 🙂🙋♂️
Leave a suggestion in the forums on the viewport issues you are experiencing and they are nice and will work on them, especially now that there is a promise of income directly attributed from the Daz Studio program. ...and thanks for the great comment and your awesome participation in the live chat videos CDJ!
I could make scripts but, I have 13,000 Daz assets I have bought. I prefer to use the items I have bought in scenes and use scripts already made than to make scripts of my own. If I need a script that does not exist I will ask someone to make if for me. Why don't band musicians make their own guitars instead of using ones they bought from stores? Because they are entertainers, not guitar makers. I use Daz items to make scenes. That is the kind of artist I am. If I made scripts all the time why would I need 13,000 Daz items? My job is knowing all of the items I own intimately, where they are located in my content and how to use them to make art. I hope that answers your question. 😀🙋♂️
So what PC are you using? changes are pretty quick
I am using a Nvidia 4090 GPU with an intel 13 Gen CPU.
I got the conversion to work, works well with the legacies UV's also
Can you use the shape transfer after you stop paying for overpriced daz premeire?

@@EZ3DTV Thanks for the reply, I'll check that out. An interesting discussion in this video, I hope to catch a live one.
Hi, I primarily use CC4 at the moment. I’m curious what you use Daz for that would make the investment worth it?

@@EZ3DTV Thanks for the answer, subbed
Somehow glad to see I'm not the only who experiences crashes with DS. thanks to you I know DAZ premier doesn't fix stability at all.

If they could fix the viewport that would be amazing. (It's me CDJ by the way!)

if you so smart do the scripts on daz 3d I dont see you doing good work even using it
