Dude, you've got a heart of gold, love your channel
Thanks!
I love that you refer to the cave as his house! That’s what I call my guys’ hides too 😂
Lol, the way the personalize it they disserve it
Aw man that red devil was such a good looking fish!
It was, he was going to become tank boss soon too
It's about time being ages since last upload.love these videos those fish are monsters
Very Nice content sir,,,ive just subbed!hehe,,,thank you for this😇🙏
👍🏼👍🏼❤smart man
I have a cichla temensis and he eat only live food this video help me a lot
Nice
great tips. I got mine young and they literally just eat anything i throw in from pellets to live fish. adults or wild caught are way harder to train though.
Your tanks always look great. Keep up the great work. Sorry for the loss of the Red Devil Cichlid. My 14 inch wallego catfish ate a 6 inch pimadella catfish. He also tried to eat my 6 inch bicher. I know what you go through.
Thank you, wow those catfish always find away to get what they want
Sorry for your loss, bro
rubbin yer finger all over yer glass/acrylic drives me nuts lol
Lol, it leaves nasty smears too that I have to clean weekly
Honestly tank bosses with big cichlids are going to change periodically regardless of what you do
By the way I also love how you scape your tanks
Man them peacocks and oscar sets that tank off
I'm having the same problem trying to get my wild Heckel discus to get onto pellets
Yes those wilds are the most stubborn
I just bought a spider peacock and he’s only 4 inches. He’s in my 150 South American cichlid community tank. Tried minnows on first day and he’s not super interested. Any ideas for his first meal in his new home? My 7 inch FAT Oscar ate almost all 10 of the minnows pretty quickly. You mentioned the competition will actually help him...how long before I’ve got to worry about him starving on hunger strike? Is there something better than minnows? Thanks man ...I got this guy because of your channel!
do another video
Aww,sorry to hear about the red devil.
What kind of peacock bass should I get for a 500 gallon?
Hey man can you make a video of difference between Red Devil and Midas I’m considering getting one of them
I would, but the "experts" tell me my red devil is a midas and when I kept a midas they told me it was a red devil. When they are young the two species are almost identical...but as adults I find that midas grow to be thicker, taller and have more pronouced nuchal humps. Also midas have a more rounded mouth / snout while red devils have a more sharper/ point mouth. Best bet is to get one from a reputable seller
Maybe use a plastic straw to poke better holes into shrimp and pulling the worm through
He's hooked now! Now I just have to squeeze some pellets in the shrimp to get him on pellets
put some 1 -1.5 inch thick pvc pipe pieces in the tank bichir will hide in it. i used to do that.
So far he doings good, he hides on the wood, rocks and under the plants and the bass don't pay him any mind
Use fishing line Tie it to the shrimp
Hello brother...i have 5 to 6 inches bass in 3 ft tank...i buy them 6 days before...but they are accepting only live feedings..i tried with raw chicken, Shrimp meat but they are not even looking at it...what to do????
It takes time, they are very picky eating fish. Don't feed chicken, they won't be able to digest it and it will foul up your water quickly. Try shrimp and raw fish, adding it to the tank in front of your filter output could cause the bass to go after it because it looks alive. Eventually though, 2-3 weeks of not being offered live foods and it should readily accept raw foods
@@dwsdarius thanks😊
Maybe he got startled and swam face first into something pointy? I’ve had fish do that and die right before my eyes
That's possible, I had a geophagus run into the glass and die moments later
You should have immediately took the bichir out of the tank
Those guys are Predatory brother...but you never know until you try
Yes they are, luckily its working out well
Where do you get your peacocks from?
This guy cam from livingartwork off of ebay. I generally just look around at different ebay sellers...but I guess that's why Ive been sold the wrong species so many times lol!
Do you use CO2 in any of your tanks?
I used to, but currently no
What size tank?
Thats a 125 gallon grow out tank
Rip up the warms the wiggle more
Where did you get your temensis?
Online
Yes from an ebay seller
Damn this new format is kinda wack frfr, took 4days to get this notification 🤨
