No, just the colour, I use red plugs to plug into red and grey plugs to plug into grey, saves plugging things into the wrong plug, red is solar input, grey is output.
@@reddyman6915 Yes there is a difference.. Red will not connect to grey .. So you tend to use the red for imput only connection so you don't mix them up .. There made that way for safety..
@@MikesManCave I will keep experimenting but last time I checked it was a full sun day in Perth at midday and I have some electronics qualifications - I will get something to cover each panel in turn and see if there is any panels that aren’t producing.
@@pauls8456If you have it dead flat on the ground ..That is a bad bad scenario.. It's the big downside to blanket over panels .. Panels can be setup how you need them ..Blanket is very limited.. You see people..me included mount solar panel on the roof of there car ..This is definitely not ideal .. But does give you some imput just the same . .
@ I tried angling the blanket to the optimum angle in bright late spring central Australian sunlight and got a max of 45W into a Victron MMPT solar controller.
