My friends or the kids of my fathers friends would fall to my parents feet as soon as they step into the house. And it was not even a proper namaskaram. They would just gesture and elongate their hand towards the feet. Not actually touching the feet. So what’s the point😂 We do once but we properly touch the feet by bowing down completely. These nottherners have a habit of just gesturing 10 times but only go half way😂
One thing I don't understand is in videos they show like before 1947 only people used to touch their elders'feet, now it's in history. I don't know why they make it like people don't know this.
