Awesome how accurate the lore was. They do apply sedatives to patients, because the gelatinous feeling disorients people when submerged. Pleasantly surprised at the accuracy

I'm surprised I'm even injured, most people who get shot in star wars just flat out die.
Depends.
They also don't really show the grim injuries that super-heated plasma 'blaster' bolts do. Those bolts shouldn't just knock people down like a bullet, they would melt a hole through someone and probably vaporize significant portions of tissue. Surviving such an attack would require extensive and immediate medical help. There's also the possibility of a high power blaster Ionizing a target and creating additional problems, but if you got hit by one of those, which would probably be a turbo-laser cannon mounted on a vehicle of some sort, you'd probably not survive any sort of hit, even if it just nicked your foot.
Tilly Edwards I guess blaster fire travels in such a high velocity assuming that it travels like a bullet minus the drag and bullet drop obviously. So it is a ranged energized particle weapon assuming it reaches up to 10000°c to 15000°c or more. Theoretically it will be able to cauterize the blaster wound, thats maybe why we don't see such major damage on a Soldier from both sides in Star Wars. That and because you know, Disney.
It probably wouldn't reach temperatures that high, I know for sure, that kind of heat would instantly melt the firer, I imagine the plasma output itself is probably on the low end for individual soldier use (Or maybe the magnetic projector array bottles the heat too?), but even with extreme speed, you would think where the wound is, it would at least burn outwards, cauterized or not, so it would look like a burn mark that flowers open. But yeah, I like your Disney theory. Kind of also like how lightsaber wounds don't show people's organs falling out.
