Dragga god no..... just..... no. our youth soccer coaches got those boys where they are, not german coaches. a german coach fucked our national team, and now these boys have to pick up the pieces. the last thing we need to watch is emotionless bundesliga drones taking the joy from the game..... whether our best and brightest are playing there or not.
Ted Striker Acosta needs to leave the MLS asap. He needs to be challenged more and compete with the best to be the best or else he'll get phased out by some of the young guys that are grinding out in Europe.
Itz Sombra we aren’t even a laughing stock now. Maybe to Mexico sure but they still can’t get past the round of 16 and USA did save them in 2014. In Europe they’re too busy laughing at Italy Netherlands Ireland Scotland and in South America Chile and Argentina (the latter obviously did qualify but they’re a train wreck right now)
Acosta doesn’t want to play in Europe In mls he won’t be crap I talked to his dad during FC Dallas games He said Acosta chose to go to the rapids instead of moving to a Spanish team I believe it was levante
As a supporter of Werder Bremen I hope that he gets opportunities on the pitch to show what he is capable of. We can be proud to have signed such a big talent.
Great feature, hopefully there's lots more of these! So far Tim Weah, Weston McKennie, and Pulisic! Whoever is in charge of the video content at U.S. Soccer, keep it up!
As a German that used to live in Missouri I am routing for him. I was in Missouri during the 2014 world cup and no one even knew that the world cup was happening..That shows just how talented he is, if he was able to develop into a good player in an environment where nobody even knows what soccer is
I am German and I am really looking forward to seeing him in the Bundesliga. IMO the most important step for a soccer player is the step from the youth team to the senior team. I hope he makes it and he seems to have the right mentality and skill set.
I'm from Brazil and I always root for the US team and hope they will improve and be a team to be respected in the world of football. After 2017's fiasco, it seems there is a new generation coming forward, capable of bringing the bar up a notch or two. Looking forward to that. Best of luck you guys.
I’m so hype about the future of our team! We get shit on just because we call it soccer, no matter what we call it a lot of us truly love this game in America me included. I’ve always had to look to Europe for entertainment but I feel like we’re truly on the rise just like these young guys. I honestly can’t wait to see what they can do! Keep it up with these videos they are truly inspirational
Can't wait to see you on the pitch Josh! Greetings from a live-long Werder Bremen supporter (born and raised here). Take your time, never stop trying, never stop believing and your chance in the Bundesliga will come. All the best! Keep calm and rock on! :)
Iron sharpens iron. The better the competition the better player you're going to be. I love how Josh took a big challenge at his age unlike another US striker.......
Not My Real Name that's exactly who I was thinking about during this video. He forwent his golden opportunity to play in Europe and now looks like the younger guys will take his spot. I don't think Morris should be considered a "young guy" anymore, in terms of giving him more of a chance when he doesn't deserve it. I have nothing against him and hope he can develop in the next couple of years but the MLS isn't gonna develop or challenge him as these young guys are challenged in Europe.
That's exactly who i was talking about, which is a shame because I was there in San Antonio when Morris scored his first goal against Mexico and I had really high hopes for him
You're right Josh..You belong in Bremen and in our Team at Werder..We're so happy to hear that you feeling home in Bremen and everything around it..Let's make some history..Lebenslang Grün-weiß/Nur der SVW 💚💚💚
Great to see so many players getting the chance to play here in Germany. The German league is focused on giving young players the chance to play which is really great and beneficial for their international career 👍🏻 Excited to see how these guys will develop! 😊
We have a great core in these young guys. Now we have to let them develop and they will surely make us proud. These guys are hungry. Let's make some noise in 2022! Then be at the top in 2026.
Whitedigger678 I never mentioned Mbappe or anything against him. He's a good player but so were Ronaldo and Messi but probably will never win a world cup. Just saying man. One player can't do it all.
Whitedigger678 By himself? You're hyping up Mbabbe as if he's the sole reason France won and he's the only star in the team. Mbappe is great player and possibly one of the best players in the world for a couple of years but Mbappe was surrounded by great players this past WC(Griezmann, Kante, Pogba, Umtiti, etc.). You can't win a WC alone(which is why I mentioned Messi and Ronaldo), you need a good overall team to win. France will lose most of their stars after the next WC. Not only that but other teams get better as well, meaning another team is likely to win the WC. Have a great day! Also, I'm pretty sure you misread my comment about Ronaldo and Messi probably never winning a world cup.
2:30 To answer your question on what “that” fairy tale is, the title is “The Town Musicians of Bremen” by the Brothers Grimm: about a dog, donkey, rooster, and a cat who run away to become musicians in Bremen, then chasing away a gang of robbers from a house. That being said, I’m very excited to see this kid perform in the Bundesliga. He looked great during the international friendlies before the World Cup. I hope he can perform every week like that.
I feel like the next step for this account should be these guys talking about their relationships with their new teammates especially guys like sargent and weah, or mckennie and pulisic whom seem to have great relationships between each other
if they go all out young when qualification time come around its gonna i feel its gonna hard them the HEX is crazy those team will use player older with a tun a experience in the HEX look who the lost there last game in T&T and its not like they didnt have player on the field with experience, in the HEx in 2min everything could just start to go wrong its gonna be ruff for them ... i watch football/soccer a long time so i just of to be realisic
We are excited to have him in Bremen and looking forward to see what he can do in the future! He seems to fit perfectly into the club and the city. Already scored in his first two friendly games too. We do have a lot of strikers right now so there is a lot of competition but I hope he can break into the first team a few times next season.
So currently he is playing for the 2nd team of Bremen and is doing really well. Scored 2 goals in 4 games and has really much impact in the games. I think in one or two years he might have really good chances of playing Bundesliga :)
I can still remember watching him in a friendly match against Mexico.... Deadly. Sargent, Weah and Pulisic will take the US national team far into glory.
As a St. Louis native it is always fantastic to see this. Considering the city's deep history in the sport doesn't hurt. Wish him the best of luck in Germany, he'll be repping the people back home in the STL.
I remember watching him score when he was in the U15s he was always scoring that’s how I know him 😂 he’s living proof that the youngsters are the future
His older sister was my old babysitter and she had to drop him off at their house all the time and seeing him now is so crazy. He has come so far in life and he deserves everything that he has gotten. He used to go to my school and I remember when he was in love 8th grade Josh and his friend was telling me and my little brother a story about a dead frog and his sister got mad at him. Idk how I remember this but I do lol 😊🙃
Hopefully these players continue growing and getting better at their football (soccer) because the US soccer really needs a new and better generation of players
He might be our best striker already. Granted the competition is Jozy, who needs service, and Wood, who's up & down. Sargent's instincts are on another level, he should be a fixture in the lineup for the next 10y. And yes, I know he hasn't started a pro game yet but I'm not going to hold that flimsy argument against him.
I got a picture with him at the game against Bolivia. I also went to one of the training sessions in Philadelphia but when I asked for his signature he said he had to go
Keep it up Josh !! We’re all proud of all your accomplishments!! If you could somehow get me one of your jerseys I’d love to share it with some of my comrades in the special forces!! Worth a shot to ask. Lol. Hambone native Ozark legend
Funny that I had no idea about this kid until I chose him for a career player in Fifa 20 and in 3 seasons I got him to 88. So that's when I started following him. I can't wait for him to play in a big club hopefully for a team that desperately need a saviour like Arsenal.
its seem like actually all the player that played on the USMNT from the last cycle of qualification is out, all these new year never heard of them, i dont know gonna happen when qualification comes around for the new world cup, as we the HEX is hell US gonna have a hard time qualifiing they might finish 4th and goin to playoff with some other team from Asia as from Pulisic, Mackennie, and the few stand out, i dont know if gonna even be enought to get point on the road, just ask pulisic he know how hard it is, hopefull they can add some of the older player for experience and guidance, i know most the younger are playing out in europe but the HEX is whole different beast..

We should never feel inferiror to other national team players. There have only been 8 nations ever to win a World Cup. With Ture Girt and American can win the WCUP.
Americans should be watching Bundesliga as a courtesy for what they're doing to develop our National Team.
Dragga .true so true...
This is so true. I watch Bundesliga every weekend and love it and there helping our young Americans by letting them start and earn minutes.
The Bundesliga is a great league to watch
Dragga god no..... just..... no. our youth soccer coaches got those boys where they are, not german coaches. a german coach fucked our national team, and now these boys have to pick up the pieces. the last thing we need to watch is emotionless bundesliga drones taking the joy from the game..... whether our best and brightest are playing there or not.
Couldnt agree more builds a level of playing and a mind set you dont get alot in CONCACAF region liga mx or mls
If Weah, Mckennie, Sargent, Pulisic, Acosta, etc. reach their full potential, then we will no longer be the laughing stock of world football.
Ted Striker Acosta needs to leave the MLS asap. He needs to be challenged more and compete with the best to be the best or else he'll get phased out by some of the young guys that are grinding out in Europe.

Yeah, I'm binge watching all of these right now. Fantastic stuff!
He is a freee agent
Yeah there’s definitely more prodigies rising in the US
Definitely someone to look out for! Proof that American youth soccer is rapidly growing and has true potential
Eric A they still need to make it much more affordable to open up the talent pool more.
Jordan Alford FACTS 👆🏻
Yeah youths that leave to Europe
In mls there’s a thing called pay to play
If you got no money then you won’t play
Exactly and historically the greatest players of all time grew up poor.
As a German that used to live in Missouri I am routing for him. Marcio Coelho thank you.
Marcio Coelho . Thanks man.
It’s great to see a lot of young American talent making the move over to Europe. Very promising for the future of the USMNT.
As long as he doesn't get lost on the bench and the reserve team. A lot of young American talent has withered away in development hell.
I’m so hype about the future of our team! We get shit on just because we call it soccer, no matter what we call it a lot of us truly love this game in America me included. USMNT is insanely young. Can’t wait to see the results of development in 2026
great player, great club
Welcome to Norwich City Josh! You’ll love it here 💛 💚

He's got a lot of potential in the usmnt and in Europe! Keep it up little bro!
Our next generation is looking better and better. Cannot wait for 2022
If you qualify
I think usa is going the right way developing young talents as Sargent..Pulisic..Weah..future is looking bright...greetings from San Salvador
Love this guy!!! Got him at a 82 in 2021 for fifa 19!!! Rising star!

Raul Gonzalez im srry but mbappe at 19 just started and will be a beast in the next two world cups

latst name is Sargent and he always salutes when he scores. that's so dope
Wish I had a cool last name.

Seems like a great fix for Norwich, with Farke and Webber at the helm. Wishing him all the best for a successful season at Carrow Road!
Hopefully Josh Sargent and Aron johannsson play this season
Seeing Josh, Christian, and Tim together makes me so excited. Lol

No idea we had so much talent!!
One thing i'm noticing form the U.S even from the top like Pulisic. They have amazing crossing into the box. Good job guys.

Great kid. Also, Sergino Dest is an up-in-comer we need.
Dont forget about Keaton Parks too, really like him

Welcome to Norwich
I like these, let's us know our players!
US Soccer’s future is bright af!
Great kid
Yesterday he had his debut for Werder Bremen and he scored after 2 minutes on the pitch. This guy is up for something big!
Was that a new record in the league?
Mike Trevor No it wasn‘t. Milos Jojic from Borussia Dortmund scored after just 17 seconds on the pitch on his debut.
St. Louis represent!!
Sergeant Sargent.
Allez les verts.
MISSOURI!!! Let's go!
Those USWNT videos sound great right about now
Make room in coming 👀👀
WELCOME TO NORWICH CITY!
This guy is crucial to Norwich…
tear that shit up, st louis boy.....
its seem like actually all the player that played on the USMNT from the last cycle of qualification is out, all these new year never heard of them, i dont know gonna happen when qualification comes around for the new world cup, as we the HEX is hell US gonna have a hard time qualifiing they might finish 4th and goin to playoff with some other team from Asia as from Pulisic, Mackennie, and the few stand out, i dont know if gonna even be enought to get point on the road, just ask pulisic he know how hard it is, hopefull they can add some of the older player for experience and guidance, i know most the younger are playing out in europe but the HEX is whole different beast..
its crazy to think by the time the world cup comes to USA in 2026 some of these young guys are gonna be considered old, in sporting terms any way.
They are gonna be 26-29 in there prime years so its not old
It is importante to have perspective and to set the right standards when anlayzing the potential of these young players we are talking about. i fuck wit the celebration lol

Ah, he from Missouri, 314 represent.
