I watched my 3 year old daughter play this...she came across the most patient stranger. They played for hours on end and Mikaya was 100% convinced she had just made a new friend in a virtual world. It was really stunning to watch, she smiled the entire time. I have never seen anything like it before this game.
The scene in the middle of the game where you are sliding down the sandy hill was one of the most beautiful and well-constructed levels I have ever played in a video game.
When my partner fell down after jumping that bridge in the snow, I went after him. Then I fell down as well and he went after me and we both finished the game and now I come here andnread the comments and realize it was another person. And we can never talk about it ever again because I have no idea who she/he was :'( damn you game!!
i had a similar experience, but i couldn't find them after we both passed out in the snow :( i played yesterday and i didn't get to take a picture of all the players in time, but they were all nice/helpful

I was looking for a game to distract me and I saw this was free on PSN. Downloaded it and played it at night alone in my room. No spoilers but the ending had me crying but in a deeper way than what was probably intended because I had just lost my dog 2 days before. His name was Dante and we had him for 14 years and I miss him so much so the ending section really hit me hard and I don't know why. Amazing game, goodbye Dante I'll miss you.

OMG its sad, It has happened a couple times in the beginning at which I just feel annoyed, but one time it happened near the end and I had travelled with them for 4 levels and they were just suddenly gone, I didn't know what to do, I waited for them to somehow reappear but it didn't happen. I felt annoyed, betrayed, but mostly sad that I had to continue alone.
When I realized it was a real person following me I got so happy, we only did one level together because they left (I think they quit the game or moved on I’m not sure) but the time I spent with them was great. Pretty sure both of us had zero clue what we were doing and we just played music notes at each other for quite awhile and ran around in circles.

Finally got around to playing this gem, and yeah, it really is as good as everyone says. Seeing as the game is four years old now (I played the PS3 version), I didn't think I would get to experience the co-op. But as I was running across the desert, I saw another player off in the distance. I hurried and managed to catch up, and beating this game with a complete stranger is a truly amazing and unique experience. SPOILERS Especially during the final stages, where the weather is extremely harsh, and me and my partner were cowering behind fallen structures to avoid being blown back by the wind, I really felt a strong bond between us. This game is truly beautiful, and I can easily see myself coming back to it whenever I get tired of all the guns and explosions that dominate the AAA games market.
I always thought it was stupid when people argue about console power, thinking that is what makes games beautiful. Art style works above everything else and this game looks amazing. People can argue about pixels all they want but real developers know that's not how you make a game look good.

If there is anyone out there who thinks video games aren't a form of art need to play Journey. Whoever thought a 2 hr digital downloaded game could be such a masterpiece. It further proves why the PS has the best exclusives and why Independent games are so damn fun to play. This game is worth getting at any price, that's why Journey was goty in 2013
kenterminatedbygoogle Do you have a movie you really like, that you rewatch constantly? That is exactly what Journeys replay value is, because you can finish it in the length of watching a movie. I got it for the first time since it came out for PS4 (but I have been wanting to play it since 2012) and as soon as I finished I instantly replayed it since it was so stunning and AMAZING, and I never found a single point of it boring, both times, and I cannot wait to play it again and again.
Its an amazing game!!!! Amazing games deserve 10's its just a number after all the story means way more thn a number given for the game from some guy whoprobably only played 10 minutes of it
hi9580 tbh, I didnt like it. Boring, colourless, the only thing which was interesting in some way was the multiplayer. I won't put my opinion in numbers, but if I would, many games would rank higher for me... maybe I am a bit late with my opinion, though.
This is a masterpiece plain and simple. Unique is the key word here with this game. It's reserved for only those who have an open mind and can appreciate simplicity.

Hi im a 32 year old female. Im married with 2 children. About 12 weeks ago I started to get awful anxiety, I was stressing about the least little thing and turning small things into massive over the top things. I started doing breathing exercises and taking herbal remedies, reading books and going onto websites. Nothing seemed to work and about 6 weeks ago I couldn't take the way I felt anymore and felt like I wasn't coping with normal everyday situations like the school run and seeing my friends and even watching a film with my husband. I have never suffered with anything like this before and that in itself is very scary, I felt out of control with my thoughts, I wasn't sleeping or eating. I went to see my GP who prescribed me 50mg of Sertraline, I was also given 10 days worth of diazepam (2mg). After a few days of deciding if I should take them I went for it, I had the most awful side affects, sickness, diarrhea, headaches, night sweats, shakes. I couldn't even get out of bed for a couple of days. I was having panic attacks and Insomnia. After a week or so the side affects eased off and I was able to cope again although I was still left with the awful anxiety. After 2 weeks I started to feel 50% better and then into week 3,4,5 I seemed to go downhill with my anxiety again but I stuck with the Sertraline as the doc said it could take 6-8 weeks to see the benefit. The last few days I've started to feel 90% my old self again. I think this drug seems to take a while to work but i'm glad I've stuck with it as I feel like i'm getting my old life back again. I really hope this is a helpful and positive story if you are just starting out on Sertraline, I know I have a long way to go but I feel with the help of this med I can get my life back on track. Reading all the positive stories on this forum has helped me a great deal. Im also lucky to have great family and friends I can talk to.

I thought i was playing with the same person the entire journey as well. Then at the end they listed people i traveled with and it was 10 diffrent gamertags . Wish they wouldn't of listed that,felt alot better thinking i made the entire journey with one person and we went through highs and lows together .

Such a beautiful game. After seeing this review I bought it, played through it several times and it's totally worth it. The anonymous multiplayer is so unique and I had such an adorable moment, when the partner I played the game through with drew a heart in the ground at the end :)
Why is "Short but Sweet" a bad thing? A great game is a great game. Length has nothing to do with it. I guess anything to give you a reason not to give out 10s except to Zelda games
TheSharpmarksman The game has to be short, so that completing it in one session is practical. If it were any longer, it would be impossible to complete it with the same stranger you met from the start. The fact that you are able to do this is what makes the game so beautiful.
This game popped up in my steam queue yesterday, I'd no clue what it was so looked up a review. First 30 seconds you said to experience it without any further information so I did. Two hours long during my whole first journey I was entranced by the game. Only after playing did I find out it's a game from years ago, not any time during playing did it feel like an old game with bad graphics or anything like it. This was by far the best game I played this year, can't believe I missed out on it all this time. Finding someone else and ending the journey together was incredible and going through the snow up the mountain at the end, not knowing what was coming, was made a hundredfold better by being with a companion. 10/10
i bought my PS3 just for this game but it actually takes more than a year before i can play it because i dont have access to online download (waited for the bluray copy) Good thing is that God of War 3, MGS4, Uncharted 1, 2, 3 are also enjoyable
I just got it the other day and played it with my 11 year old neighbor. They junk out on a lot of COD and mostly FPS and racing games. They kept anticipating it to be shit, but watched me play it, anyway. When it got to the end and said "Thank you for playing Journey", he started crying and called it "the most beautiful, perfect game I've ever seen in my life!" We stood up and applauded it. Needless to say, this game has the power to impact ANYONE. Not saying somebody who prefers more action-paced games can't enjoy it, but he has never played anything remotely similar to that and now he's played it at least 4 times since then.
I have told every friend I know about this game. My six year old nephew even loves it. It is one of the most rewarding and special moments in gaming history. In fifty years, when all the COD's and FIFA's have been long forgotten, people will look back and remember this game as a truly special moment.
I think the gaming world is divided between those who have played Journey and those who have not. I have played games since the Atari 2600 and TRS80 CoCo and I've seen the rise and sometimes fall of so many ideas. Nothing comes close to Journey for undefined emotional impact. I've had teary eyes from this game, it's just so spiritually uplifting. Best played stoned. lol. Honorary mention to Dear Esther.
I only just played this recently after having it in my collection for months but I'm so glad I did what a great game. It may be short but I found it to be just right a game like this couldn't be dragged out for 5,10,15 hours it just wouldn't work imo. I played the game through with a random companion and completing the game together was such a rewarding experience. Without saying anything we both waited for the other or helped each other out when one of us lagged behind a bit. I highly reccommend you complete the journey with some one else as it's a great and unique experience.
Journey makes every games uncomparable when playing this. It's magical how this game doesn't have any dialogues and it still AMAZING! the music works beautifully, it brings down tears. I'd give this 12/10 for this game.
Yeah I met a player on a level and he was chirping at something within the walls. So then I figured he was trying to communicate with me through chirps. Turns out it was a big glitch to skip towards the end of the game. Lol
When I first played the game it took me 3 hours, as soon as I finished it I started playing again and completed it again. If you're worried it will be to short don't be because this is the type of game you'll want to play over and over. I've now completed it 6-7 times and every time it brings a tear to my eye.
When I reached the end, my friend disappeared but I waited for him for solid 5 minutes and got reunited with them him. I'm glad I was patient . We started and played together till the end. This game was simply magical.
There is indeed a genre of games called "art games", and Journey is one of those games. One that attempts to immerse you in a world with no backstory, save for the murals that you come across on your journey. One that evokes emotion without words, through the use of beautiful landscapes and amazing soundtracks. One that strays from the ordinary first-person shooter, to give an experience that most would never forget. Yet one thing about art games- while some people love them, others dont.
I am so in love with this game. The story, music and graphics are stunningly beautiful. You seem to form a deep, emotional bond with anyone you journey with, even without directly speaking to them. Absolutely brilliant. If you haven't played this yet, please do so immediately.
This game is really emotional! Short but it is one of the best adventure games I have played. The trailer didn't really get me but I am glad I gave it a try, don't make the same mistake I could have made, try out the game if you didn't. Beside the story, the journey itself is what gave the game the name, literally. As you see the your destination from the beginning, go a long way, through the 'bad' or what can stop you, encounter failures, cooperate with other people, look up to see how far away is the destination, and look back to see how far you have gone, then realize there is no way back, must continue the jouney. Somehow it refers the journey as the life. Dream, do it, and then look back when you succeeded.
I'm an Xbox guy for Halo alone. I played this game at a friend's house, and it is everything that this review says it is. Have considered buying a playstation for this game
I played through the game just now with a stranger I found in the second part of the first mission (where you are making the bridge with the ribbons I followed him thinking it was a AI then when I completed the game it told me who it was cause I remembered his icon well he disappeared on me during the part where you fill the temple with the magic and keep flying up I got so sad. Then I found someone else thinking it was my original friend but I was sad when he has a different icon. This game hit different man.
Played this game and honestly, I didn't see what the big deal was. The problem with me is that I need material possessions on top of any emotional experiences I receive from exploration in order to remain invested in a game. Journey is great for the open minded type, but for me, not being able to do much or interact with left me fairly uninterested in the game. Still completed it, and I will say that the world designs and musical tracks are fantastic, but that's not quite enough to get me all ecstatic about Journey. Don't judge me, I never said I disliked the game.
I wouldn't call myself a material person as such, I just like having things, especially in games. That's simply who I am, but I'm not shallow. I'm still glad I played it to see what all the fuss was about, but the game really wasn't for me. And yes, I have a heart, otherwise I would be dead.

The genuine desire to help that other person is crazy: Even down to the point where if I landed on a pillar first, I would only highlight half of the posts and leave the other half for my new found friend! Seems strange, but I felt a bond with that other player. If you have only played though it by yourself, you should play it again and seek out someone else to accompany you on your new journey ...

I love how he/she copied me when I was tapping the "whistle" button. How I would jump back off of a ledge which was difficult to traverse to, just to show my partner how to do it. And how I felt that we were both in danger, but covering each others backs. I wonder if there will be a Journey 2? I now wish I'd bought the Collector's Edition, which came with Flower & the other game. I think I will leave it alone for a while, then play it again. By the way, another BRILLIANT and underrated game is Beyond: Two Souls. Fantastic writing and production, amazing visuals and a superb story. I have it on PS3 (which is now in its box) but you can get the remastered edition which comes with Heavy Rain on PS4. Anyway, fellow gamer ... whatever journeys life takes you on, may the sun be on your face and the wind on your back (Blow: amazing movie!). 8-)
OH wow. Simply stunning . An emotional journey made more sensational with meeting and working with other players along the way. All without speaking, letting you interact freely, supporting each other through the highs and lows. I love that you don't get to know who you're playing with, until the end credits role. I played through 1 1/2 times last night and loved every moment. I will be going back to try to find all the secrets and obtain the white robe, though I can see that being hard when other players are active, since the feeling is to stick together and help each other, so going off by yourself can seem selfish. Now I have to check out some other games in this genre. So lovely!

I was playing with someone for most of the time. When we were flying up to the light, I thought I had lost him, so I waited on a ledge. I thought he logged off or something, getting teary eyed. And then he flew up to me! We mashed the O button in joy! We walked into the light. I was crying. It's hard to explain why but I fricking did.
If video games are art, then this is the pinnacle of that artistic objective. Games like Battlefield or Call Of Duty cannot even be compared to such masterful beauty. If this game could be compared to any other artistic platform, such as music, it could easily be compared to the works of Mozart, Bach or Beethoven. A timeless master piece, all other games fall short of it's pure awe-inspiring wonder, bringing this user, at least, to tears as he played. There is no rating high enough I can give.

I've been playing video games for over 20 years. I play action, platformers, racing and occasional FPS, but I have never felt an emotional experience like this in any form of media. Being only $15, you're paying for a wonderful unique experience, instead of $60 for generic yearly and boring CoD games. If you have a PS3, just buy it. You'll absolutely love it.
In quarantine right now. I saw that it was free, so I thought “this should be an ok game to play to help pass time”. I was wrong on so many levels... Journey isn’t just a game, it’s a masterpiece. The beautiful music and imagery, the emotion captured in the music, the “character” designs, and the story, with so much more. I beat this game in a day, because once I started playing it, I couldn’t stop. This game will bring you to tears. Not a SINGLE WORD is said in the whole story, but it conveys just as much as emotion. If you want a relaxing way to end the day, play Journey. Having a tough time? Play Journey. I think everyone should get this game, not just for it’s relaxing simplicity, but the mere beauty of exploring the world.
Make sure of two things before playing this game.
1) Get a decent pair of headphones.
2) Play it alone without distractions.

If there is anyone out there who thinks video games aren't a form of art need to play Journey. Whoever thought a 2 hr digital downloaded game could be such a masterpiece. It further proves why the PS has the best exclusives and why Independent games are so damn fun to play. This game is worth getting at any price, that's why Journey was goty in 2013

kenterminatedbygoogle Do you have a movie you really like, that you rewatch constantly? That is exactly what Journeys replay value is, because you can finish it in the length of watching a movie. I got it for the first time since it came out for PS4 (but I have been wanting to play it since 2012) and as soon as I finished I instantly replayed it since it was so stunning and AMAZING, and I never found a single point of it boring, both times, and I cannot wait to play it again and again.

This game is a freaking marvel. When I reached the last part at the waterfall.. No words can describe how happy and free I felt at that moment.
When i reached the very end, after the snow had melted away, now that was a feeling that nothing else gave me.

hi9580 tbh, I didnt like it. Boring, colourless, the only thing which was interesting in some way was the multiplayer. I won't put my opinion in numbers, but if I would, many games would rank higher for me... maybe I am a bit late with my opinion, though.

Hi im a 32 year old female. Im married with 2 children. About 12 weeks ago I started to get awful anxiety, I was stressing about the least little thing and turning small things into massive over the top things. I started doing breathing exercises and taking herbal remedies, reading books and going onto websites. Nothing seemed to work and about 6 weeks ago I couldn't take the way I felt anymore and felt like I wasn't coping with normal everyday situations like the school run and seeing my friends and even watching a film with my husband. I have never suffered with anything like this before and that in itself is very scary, I felt out of control with my thoughts, I wasn't sleeping or eating.
I went to see my GP who prescribed me 50mg of Sertraline, I was also given 10 days worth of diazepam (2mg). After a few days of deciding if I should take them I went for it, I had the most awful side affects, sickness, diarrhea, headaches, night sweats, shakes. I couldn't even get out of bed for a couple of days. I was having panic attacks and Insomnia.
After a week or so the side affects eased off and I was able to cope again although I was still left with the awful anxiety. After 2 weeks I started to feel 50% better and then into week 3,4,5 I seemed to go downhill with my anxiety again but I stuck with the Sertraline as the doc said it could take 6-8 weeks to see the benefit.
The last few days I've started to feel 90% my old self again. I think this drug seems to take a while to work but i'm glad I've stuck with it as I feel like i'm getting my old life back again. I really hope this is a helpful and positive story if you are just starting out on Sertraline, I know I have a long way to go but I feel with the help of this med I can get my life back on track.
Reading all the positive stories on this forum has helped me a great deal. Im also lucky to have great family and friends I can talk to.

I'm a little confused on the verdict. Because the game is short and sweet, which people may actually like. I would rate this game 10/10 to be honest (just beat it today).

I thought i was playing with the same person the entire journey as well. Then at the end they listed people i traveled with and it was 10 diffrent gamertags . Wish they wouldn't of listed that,felt alot better thinking i made the entire journey with one person and we went through highs and lows together .
Maybe the moral is that through the journey of life we can meet many people on our way to the end but in the end it's just us

Such a beautiful game. After seeing this review I bought it, played through it several times and it's totally worth it. The anonymous multiplayer is so unique and I had such an adorable moment, when the partner I played the game through with drew a heart in the ground at the end :)
Why is "Short but Sweet" a bad thing? A great game is a great game. Length has nothing to do with it. I guess anything to give you a reason not to give out 10s except to Zelda games

TheSharpmarksman The game has to be short, so that completing it in one session is practical. If it were any longer, it would be impossible to complete it with the same stranger you met from the start. The fact that you are able to do this is what makes the game so beautiful.

This game popped up in my steam queue yesterday, I'd no clue what it was so looked up a review. First 30 seconds you said to experience it without any further information so I did. Two hours long during my whole first journey I was entranced by the game. Only after playing did I find out it's a game from years ago, not any time during playing did it feel like an old game with bad graphics or anything like it. This was by far the best game I played this year, can't believe I missed out on it all this time. Finding someone else and ending the journey together was incredible and going through the snow up the mountain at the end, not knowing what was coming, was made a hundredfold better by being with a companion. 10/10

I just got it the other day and played it with my 11 year old neighbor. They junk out on a lot of COD and mostly FPS and racing games. They kept anticipating it to be shit, but watched me play it, anyway. When it got to the end and said "Thank you for playing Journey", he started crying and called it "the most beautiful, perfect game I've ever seen in my life!" We stood up and applauded it.
Needless to say, this game has the power to impact ANYONE. Not saying somebody who prefers more action-paced games can't enjoy it, but he has never played anything remotely similar to that and now he's played it at least 4 times since then.

I have told every friend I know about this game. My six year old nephew even loves it. It is one of the most rewarding and special moments in gaming history.
In fifty years, when all the COD's and FIFA's have been long forgotten, people will look back and remember this game as a truly special moment.
I think the gaming world is divided between those who have played Journey and those who have not. I have played games since the Atari 2600 and TRS80 CoCo and I've seen the rise and sometimes fall of so many ideas. Nothing comes close to Journey for undefined emotional impact. I've had teary eyes from this game, it's just so spiritually uplifting. Best played stoned. lol. Honorary mention to Dear Esther.

I only just played this recently after having it in my collection for months but I'm so glad I did what a great game. It may be short but I found it to be just right a game like this couldn't be dragged out for 5,10,15 hours it just wouldn't work imo. I played the game through with a random companion and completing the game together was such a rewarding experience. Without saying anything we both waited for the other or helped each other out when one of us lagged behind a bit. I highly reccommend you complete the journey with some one else as it's a great and unique experience.
Journey makes every games uncomparable when playing this. It's magical how this game doesn't have any dialogues and it still AMAZING! the music works beautifully, it brings down tears. I'd give this 12/10 for this game.

Just learn about the glitches/ backstage + fancy flying and it will give you 1000 hrs more of playtime. BEST GAME EVER!!!
Yeah I met a player on a level and he was chirping at something within the walls. So then I figured he was trying to communicate with me through chirps. Turns out it was a big glitch to skip towards the end of the game. Lol
When I first played the game it took me 3 hours, as soon as I finished it I started playing again and completed it again. If you're worried it will be to short don't be because this is the type of game you'll want to play over and over. I've now completed it 6-7 times and every time it brings a tear to my eye.
Hear me out: This would make an awesome Disney movie.

When I reached the end, my friend disappeared but I waited for him for solid 5 minutes and got reunited with them him. I'm glad I was patient . We started and played together till the end. This game was simply magical.

There is indeed a genre of games called "art games", and Journey is one of those games.
One that attempts to immerse you in a world with no backstory, save for the murals that you come across on your journey.
One that evokes emotion without words, through the use of beautiful landscapes and amazing soundtracks.
One that strays from the ordinary first-person shooter, to give an experience that most would never forget.
Yet one thing about art games- while some people love them, others dont.
When people say that games are not a true art-form I show them journey that usually shuts them up pretty quick.
I am so in love with this game. The story, music and graphics are stunningly beautiful. You seem to form a deep, emotional bond with anyone you journey with, even without directly speaking to them. Absolutely brilliant. If you haven't played this yet, please do so immediately.

This game is 5 bucks on PSN right now. I can recommend it definitely, so glad I picked it up.
This game is really emotional! Short but it is one of the best adventure games I have played. The trailer didn't really get me but I am glad I gave it a try, don't make the same mistake I could have made, try out the game if you didn't.
Beside the story, the journey itself is what gave the game the name, literally. As you see the your destination from the beginning, go a long way, through the 'bad' or what can stop you, encounter failures, cooperate with other people, look up to see how far away is the destination, and look back to see how far you have gone, then realize there is no way back, must continue the jouney.
Somehow it refers the journey as the life. Dream, do it, and then look back when you succeeded.
I like how the x on the red box annotation is right in the middle of the IGN subscribe annotation.

I played through the game just now with a stranger I found in the second part of the first mission (where you are making the bridge with the ribbons I followed him thinking it was a AI then when I completed the game it told me who it was cause I remembered his icon well he disappeared on me during the part where you fill the temple with the magic and keep flying up I got so sad. Then I found someone else thinking it was my original friend but I was sad when he has a different icon. This game hit different man.

Played this game and honestly, I didn't see what the big deal was. The problem with me is that I need material possessions on top of any emotional experiences I receive from exploration in order to remain invested in a game. Journey is great for the open minded type, but for me, not being able to do much or interact with left me fairly uninterested in the game. Still completed it, and I will say that the world designs and musical tracks are fantastic, but that's not quite enough to get me all ecstatic about Journey. Don't judge me, I never said I disliked the game.
If you're a material person, I would suggest getting yourself a heart - you'll enjoy this game a lot more, that way.
I wouldn't call myself a material person as such, I just like having things, especially in games. That's simply who I am, but I'm not shallow. I'm still glad I played it to see what all the fuss was about, but the game really wasn't for me. And yes, I have a heart, otherwise I would be dead.

That's what made the game for me.
I met a random and we played through it together. The genuine desire to help that other person is crazy: Even down to the point where if I landed on a pillar first, I would only highlight half of the posts and leave the other half for my new found friend!
Seems strange, but I felt a bond with that other player.
If you have only played though it by yourself, you should play it again and seek out someone else to accompany you on your new journey ...

I love how he/she copied me when I was tapping the "whistle" button. How I would jump back off of a ledge which was difficult to traverse to, just to show my partner how to do it. And how I felt that we were both in danger, but covering each others backs.

I now wish I'd bought the Collector's Edition, which came with Flower & the other game.
I think I will leave it alone for a while, then play it again.
By the way, another BRILLIANT and underrated game is Beyond: Two Souls. Fantastic writing and production, amazing visuals and a superb story. I have it on PS3 (which is now in its box) but you can get the remastered edition which comes with Heavy Rain on PS4.

OH wow. Simply stunning . An emotional journey made more sensational with meeting and working with other players along the way. All without speaking, letting you interact freely, supporting each other through the highs and lows. I love that you don't get to know who you're playing with, until the end credits role. I played through 1 1/2 times last night and loved every moment. I will be going back to try to find all the secrets and obtain the white robe, though I can see that being hard when other players are active, since the feeling is to stick together and help each other, so going off by yourself can seem selfish. Now I have to check out some other games in this genre. So lovely!

Best to play this game on LSD. Controls are easy to pick up and the gameplay is simple.
Just played through today amazing game, it certainly is art. Soundtrack was great. Very short but very unique.
I was playing with someone for most of the time. When we were flying up to the light, I thought I had lost him, so I waited on a ledge. I thought he logged off or something, getting teary eyed. And then he flew up to me! We mashed the O button in joy!
We walked into the light. I was crying. It's hard to explain why but I fricking did.

If video games are art, then this is the pinnacle of that artistic objective. Games like Battlefield or Call Of Duty cannot even be compared to such masterful beauty. If this game could be compared to any other artistic platform, such as music, it could easily be compared to the works of Mozart, Bach or Beethoven. A timeless master piece, all other games fall short of it's pure awe-inspiring wonder, bringing this user, at least, to tears as he played. There is no rating high enough I can give.

I've been playing video games for over 20 years. I play action, platformers, racing and occasional FPS, but I have never felt an emotional experience like this in any form of media. Being only $15, you're paying for a wonderful unique experience, instead of $60 for generic yearly and boring CoD games. If you have a PS3, just buy it. You'll absolutely love it.

In quarantine right now. I saw that it was free, so I thought “this should be an ok game to play to help pass time”. I was wrong on so many levels... Journey isn’t just a game, it’s a masterpiece. The beautiful music and imagery, the emotion captured in the music, the “character” designs, and the story, with so much more. I beat this game in a day, because once I started playing it, I couldn’t stop. This game will bring you to tears. Not a SINGLE WORD is said in the whole story, but it conveys just as much as emotion. If you want a relaxing way to end the day, play Journey. Having a tough time? Play Journey. I think everyone should get this game, not just for it’s relaxing simplicity, but the mere beauty of exploring the world.
