I love this channel.Because of Ryan, I have purchased several items to complement my Takibi fire pit and two SP tables. 😍. Its been great for family camping with a toddler. I did want to add a different point of view from others who have commented below. After this review, I have to admit I was really interested in this product for a couple of reasons. First, in addition to camping, I like tailgate from our car after a hike or ski day. I don't want to pack my entire camp set up into the car and would really appreciate grabbing a box that has a stove, table and space to hold food. That's because I'm usually juggling a toddler and all our stuff, by myself. Second, I think the ability to adjust the height of each table separate is huge bonus given that most of the time, a surface can be uneven. Finally, it seems that other youtube videos also just unbox and do a superficial review of the AIOK and come to similar conclusions that it is odd and a bit flimsy. However, I haven't found ANY videos that show it actually being used...
Hey, thank you so much! Glad to hear you’re getting the little one out there camping as well! The grab and go aspect of the iKamper is definitely convenient. They’re on to something with this product, but I’d like to see an updated version with improved build quality/mechanisms. Multiple sizes would be nice as well. This one was a bit too large for my sedan trunk (height wise). Great point though, for a quick one and done setup, there’s not much out there like it!
I have an ikamper and was considering buying this product, but I hD reservations about the legs which look flimsy and now the pull handle too! Thanks for your clarity 👍
@@rtmadani Hi Ryan. My Ikamper is still in the box, but will be using it this summer. Its going on a 71 VW bus. As an aside, you got me interested in Snow Peak which I'd never before heard of. I've bought some of their gear, but it's not cheap! But recently bought a Korvea single action table which is Korean. It looks fantastic with adjustable aluminium legs and a bamboo work top. I think it's something you would like. Its on a par with Snow Peak. Great quality.
Nice, that VW bus setup sounds awesome. I’m not sure if you’ve joined our “Snow Peak Addicts” Facebook group yet, but we created it to share photos of setups. It’d be awesome to see on there! Kovea makes some nice stuff, I didn’t know they made tables though! I just checked it out and looks pretty nice!
I never had any issues using this set up. Only thing I didnt like was how much space it takes and the burners but it does act like a storage unit too and you can store a lot in it. The pull handle actually works good on flat surfaces but you really dont need it as there are handles on the side. The legs are stable too and used it in windy situations. What the deal killer is for me though are the burners. They aren't the strongest especially in wind. It took me forever to cook. And they are stuck on the system so to use them you have to open this thing up and screw the legs on all the time. Basically set up the whole unit to use the burners. If I camper made a detachable one with a stronger burner that would be awesome. I am getting the snow peak IGT set up now. You can use the burner by its self or integrated into the table which I love. And its about double the power
I think they're onto something with the design, but the build quality doesn't seem to match what you're paying for. When I camp with my IGT setup, it does take up quite a bit of space since we have a separate container for cookware + pans/pots and another for fuel and pantry goods. I can see this being a compact solution, but the finicky leg design killed any desirability to want this.
HI THERE, YES I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU , I PURCHASED MINE ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO AND I FELT LIKE THE LEGS WERE KIND OF FLIMSY AND THE HANDLE TOO. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH IT BECAUSE IKAMPER IS A VERY HGH END COMPANY SO I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY WERE THINKING .
I have the ikamper kitchen and really do like it. The storage aspect is great and the table too. But o do agree with the handle issue it’s very flimsy and pretty pap to be honest. The table legs are the best but are ok for my applications.
It's interesting, but it's not something I'd pick up for my kit. It's a novelty, it's too niche. I've got a 2 door hatchback, and this would take up too much space. I think that's where the IGT shines, the modularity.
Downfalls on this system that made me sell mine. Weak burners. be ready to spend 30 mins or more to cook certain things on here. If in wind might take an hour without a wind guard. The burners aren't detachable so you have to set the whole system up to use them. If you are looking for something to make a quick cup of tea or coffee get a solo burner.
Good to know, I was going to test it out on a trip but to be honest I couldn't get it to fit in my trunk and didn't want to transport it in the vehicle. Thanks for sharing your experience with it!

Yeah I was really surprised with this one. How are you liking iKamper, I’m hoping to one day get my hands on one!

is it the review of kitchen/of face?

Yeah it felt like a prototype to me, hopefully they improve the construction on these as it's a useful product for some.

It’s a really cool concept, and I’d say with a little refinement it’d be a solid choice for a convenient all in one kitchen.
The burners suck. They are too weak. And they need to be detachable.

Exactly!
I rather have all components separately, which is a more versatile way to go.
☝️ Exactly how I feel about this. Your basically stuck putting the whole thing together even if you don’t need everything out.

Strange product. Feels like it will take up too much space.
It’s definitely strange!
Just the look of it... it looks cheap.... and the colors.....why????
It felt like a prototype to me.
Guessing it's manufactured in China.
Not 100% on where the Aioks is made, but their rooftop tents are made in South Korea.
