Oh wow Peter Lawford was here!
wow. i am so happy serena got her powers back
The countess was beautiful 🥰 I love this show forever they did a great job especially in the era without modern technology
Alot of these I never saw. Good episode
Elizabeth Montgomery times 2 and one with dark hair 😳🔥🔥🔥
✨Starring Elizabeth Montgomery ✨
I never thought Purana's spell was much of a spell to give back another witch's powers. Seems like it would be sort of a big deal involving some sort of lightning and wind...not to mention laws from the Witches Council.
WHAT?
It was a Simple Spell because they are the Easiest to cast and Reverse and all 3 of them are all of the same Age they all went to High School together she could only do that to Sorena because she caught her off Guard and got the Surprise on her otherwise she could not have done it.
Melody McCord is all over the place in this scene. Frozen Serena in the bedroom is Melody, but Sam popping in Serena is also Melody. And of course Sam going to the kitchen is Melody. We love Melody!
After that who wouldn't have picked her to play Lizzie Borden? Epic! 👏
I agree, Elizabeth Montgomery was amazing in that movie.
I just love when Elizabeth Montgomery plays the role of Samantha Stephens and her cousin, Serena, very much.
Please have a great Easter week. ©®

I like how Samantha convinced Contessa 2 give serena her powers back b4 she went out with Darrin's client
Peter Lawford was a certified HUNK back in the day.
I was in love with sam and serena
There are even Bully's among witches.
I luv sareena contessa is bril too I.luv this show meet new characters
Peter Lawford! He always classes things up
Indeed!
When he wasn't being a rip-roaring drunk.
I remember when I was young, I thought Darrin was so mean.
My parents told me I'd say my husband won't talk to me that way or make me not use m powers (like I had any...🤦♀️)
I STILL think he's mean!!! Lol
He is.
Dick Sargent is mean. Dick York had more sympathy
Samantha didn't tell Darrin what she was until after they were married. He didn't sign on for what he ended up getting, and if you keep that in mind the rest makes a certain kind of sense.
Contessa kinda looked like Paris Hilton
She must have had fun developing and portraying the naughty Serena , despite all of the extra work.
Peter Lawford who played Serena's suitor was part of the rat pack and a Kennedy in-law. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
I've enjoyed reading your comments, you offer so much great behind-the-scenes trivia.
@@broncoguy4862 thank you for your compliment. You just made my day. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
His Son Peter Lawford Jr looks just like him.
You are correct. 😊😊
@@gwb7875 his son's name was Christopher, not Peter Lawford, Jr. Peter Lawford had one son and three daughters. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
"I just did." Okay, that's pretty cool. :-)
I remember Bewitched favorite that show was so funny love
Sitting is a sign of weakness from Contessa
Darrin was nervous about having Serena around, even without her powers. This episode is similar to A CHANCE AT LOVE. Serena is mistaken for Sam by another of Darrin's clients. Serena couldn't resist having fun.
In this episode, SERENA'S RICHCRAFT, Sam had to get Harrison's attention off of Serena and onto Pirhana. In both episodes, Darrin's clients endded up on the moon or on their way to the moon. In Dinsdale's case, it seems he made it. The witches/warlocks must have a club there, one maybe in a different time reference. Dinsdale ended up back in his hotel room, three days later. 🙂 In both cases, it freaked out both of clients. It would anybody. 🙂
A similar episode that I love is WHICH WITCH IS WHICH has Endora taking Sam's place for a dress fitting, only to be seen by Darrin's friend and author. Endora being Endora, she went on with the charade. I love it when Sam found out and told her Mother to stop it. She pointed out that mortals are very vulnerable.
Love BEWITCHED.
Contessa Pirahna.
I like this episode, although I wish Samantha hadn't made Harrison fall in love ❤ with the Contessa. After all, he fell in love with Serena with no spell, plus she had no powers then. It was the same with Aunt Clara in another episode where the client fell for Aunt Clara and Samantha made Clara's old beau call her. Just sayin'.
Really! Why is it ok for Sam to marry a mortal but not Serena or Clara?
It turned out happy, but if Serena got married, itd be happier.
We don't know that Samantha made Harrison fall in love: it seems more likely that she hit in with a truth spell, not a love spell, so that he couldn't hide his affection for Contessa.
@@ImmortalSynn It was a love spell. But in any case Samantha put a spell of some kind on Harrison.
@@dianetheisen8664 based on what, other than you just surmising? We don't know which it was.
I first started watching this show on Nick at Nite when I was in grade school! :p Now that I'm older, I can appreciate things like the cinematography (notice how "Sam" keeps her back to the audience for most of the scenes when Serena is on screen and they're moving around--it's probably a body double). I am confused about one thing, though: in a Season One episode, Samantha mentioned that witches and warlocks can't interfere with love...I guess the rules changed? :p
He was such a doofus. Love Sam and Serena.
I love Bewitched...hands down. But there were episodes like this one that was an indicator that the series was losing steam. I mean Serena's wig was looking worn by this season and and she deserved a new hair style . Not to mention the incantations: Smile witch, laugh witch take your powers back witch? lol..I still love Bewitched! Always!
I know, right⁉️. But that rather simple incantation makes me laugh evertime❗LOL
I thought it showed how powerful a witch the Contessa was. Sam and Serena were no slouches and approximately three hundred years old (there was an episode in 1692 Salem with both cousins). That the Contessa could take away and give back Serena’s powers with such a simple-sounding spell meant she was one of the more powerful sorceresses on the show. Another was the one who cursed her ex-lover inside a sixteenth century painting in a museum dating to King Henry VIII. After almost five hundred years, Sam frees him only to be imprisoned herself in Henry VIII’s court.
@@jimhaggard7436When you look at things from this perspective, Darrin would have to have been a REALLY special mortal for Samantha to marry him after all the people she’s met in over 300 years!
She's never sufficiently remorseful
The mess has always been there and might, i am afraid, be there for still some time to come. And we are staying away from some of that mess for sure
I'm watching this now, and I didn't like Darrin OR Samantha is this episode. Samantha can have a mortal husband, but she REFUSES to let anyone else in her family want a mortal husband or boyfriend
This episode was filmed in the 7th season but shelved to the 8th season...maybe they thought it wasn't very good, and it's not
You can tell from Samantha's (Elizabeth) hair style.
Is this Peter Lawford, the brother in law of JFK?
Yes. He was married to Patricia Kennedy.
I sort of thought that only the Witch's Council or a Witch's Judge like Judge Bean could take away the powers of a witch or warlock.
Serena looks like Meg Ryan meanwhile Samantha looks like Nicole Kidman
or, they look like her!
When I watched bewitched,I thought Serena was played by two different actresses ,it wasn’t until later I found out it was Elizabeth, who played both, but in I dream of Jeannie ,I could tell it was Barbara with a black wig, I didn’t like her sister, lol but I loved Serena especially when she was fed up with mrs stephens ,who I never liked .
.....
Serena kinda deserves to lose her power this time for a little while
I didn't know some witches are more powerful than others.
this is a bad remake of a similar episode with Jack Cassidy. They even copy some of the same dialogue. another sign that this show was on a downward slide.
Liz didn't look to well in this. Sort of pale
But I think she was basically still healthy. She didn't get cancer until about 20 years later.
