It really makes me sad and a bit mad when woman leave the hospital and never see the babies again when they have a deformity or other provlem for fear their village will shun them and say they are cursed. In all likelihood, both would die, not just one. I'd rather them live as long as they can, rather than killing both or making one live with the guilt that they survived.
@Cheryl They said both had a high risk of dying, not just one. They'd have to cut through the main blood supply of the brain; and that'll either make one or both bleed to death or the surviving one would likely suffer brain damage as a result. So their quality of life would just be worse either way. They are better off trying to find ways around their disability; sadly.

Doubt that if they share a brain because at least here it was impossible to separate them. The cases I have seen where they are joined on the head they always seem to get fairly severe brain damage and disability after separation.

The question is how will they live the rest of their lives? How would they find someone and get married? How would they go through puberty and use the bathroom and take showers? If one twin dies, that means the other will die too. They have one brain, but two hearts. How does that work?
It didn't seem like they have 1 brain, but instead 2 brains which are connected at some points. If they could magically separate the brains each would be an individual, but the actual process of surgery would almost certainly kill them.

I am surprised that they are living strong even if they’re conjoined and I am right here complaining about how my life is hard.
