I had to spend a lot of primos on Dehya but sniped the weapon in 20 pulls, so yea, mixed feelings x)
believe me i had saved up a lot of primo for dehya since sumeru update but then came yae , raiden ...spent it all....and saved up again barely enough to get dehya...i think im done with the game now....got all my fav characters...will start playing again after the next location update rolls in...coz new charcaters wil come then...also i have so many pyro and electro...and i barely have other element 5 star characters ...heres me hoping fontaine gives us a really really good hydro...coz i find all the current hydro meh.

Diluc and Dehya together in a monopyro team are EXTREMELY FUN! Diluc's 3 charges skill serves as a battery for dehyas burst, so you can focus on Diluc to make the most inital damage and then switch to Dehya and deal damage with her burst.

As a person who pulled for C1 R1 Dehya + weapon... I don't have any regrets, I just wish they'd buff her stats to match how she actually feels to play... because good lord she does absolutely mediocre damage for how stylish she is.
Edit: Sheesh, so many of you have a stick up your bums about R0/R1, I fixed the typo... but yes technically R0 would be no weapon lol.
Also I would like to add that this video pretty much summed up my rolling experience except with the Diluc being replaced by a Jean, and the wolf's gravestone replaced with the another potato claymore... Thankfully I won the 50/50 the 2nd time, but at the cost of literally the rest of my saved primos.

It's kinda in Dehya's char to throw away the weapon , she doesn't fight seriously and would rather see a peaceful way out if possible and use her weapon only when needed.

I recently got her. I specifically pulled for her cuz I pull for characters I like, even if the kit/damage is underwhelming
13 more draws for soft pity... Though I'm unsure if it's 50/50 or not. Last summoned 5* was Al-Haitham, and the other one was Venti, so suffice to say I might've forgot which is which

True, the way they designed Dehya's kit looks like they deliberately sabotaged her. You need to wait 2.5 seconds for reactions during her skill? Her costly burst cancels when she jumps and barely lasts 5 seconds? NA scalings that are even lower than Chongyun's?
Yeah, no. Normally, I'm fine with most characters regardless of their damage but Dehya's case is a real cause of concern. Not to mention other characters like Faruzan and some of the other Sumeru 4-stars. What in the world were the devs smoking while designing them?

Also c0 Faruzan does her job fine. She just needs a fuckton of energy is the only issue. She's still a BiS support for Xiao and Wanderer though so long as you meet that ER requirement.
Also stop acting like this shit is exclusive to sumeru 4stars. Y'all did the same shit with inazuma LMAO but you conveniently ignore how Ningguang is dogshit without C2+ (I'd even argue she's still dogshit even at C6 cause she scales on atk but geo supports have pivoted to defense scaling . Plus her nonsensical targeting issues still exist), or how chongyun is garbage no matter how many constellations you give him. Or that Yun Jin at c0 is even MORE energy hungry than Faruzan *and* isn't even the best option for the characters she can work with (Yoimiya and Ayato both perform way better without her than with cause it turns out replacing Yun Jin for more off field dmg supports is just infinitely better dps) . Your lack of consistency is insane.
You also conveniently ignore all the dogshit 4stars that were there on release just cause of a small handful being overtuned. I can't stand people like you who make these disingenuous arguments while ignoring everything that doesn't fit your shitty narrative. You act like 4stars haven't always had fucking problems only because fischl Bennett XL sucrose and XQ exist, but somehow fucking ignore Noelle being shit at c0 . You ignore what I mentioned about chongyun and Ningguang. You ignore xinyan's existence. You ignore Barbara and Amber (being a starter character isn't an excuse. Kaeya is also a starter character and he's great) . Despite what her burst animation and the description claiming, in my head-canon I want to believe she somehow absorbs the weapon's scaling power and infusing it in her fists, unleashing a manic flurry of denting burning blows and once she is done with the final explosion she regains her weapon's previous form.

This literally happened to me when I pulled for her. I got her and diluc when I dropped a 10 pull. I got unlucky/lucky and pulled the wolf gravestone and cyno’s spear in the next 10 pull. Her claymore came to me the next day in a single pull, shit was wild.

To all people who are fans of Dehya and think she deserves a buff:
If you really think that she really needs to be fixed, just GO AND PLACE A TICKET IN GAME SPECIFYING HOW DISSATISFIED YOU ARE WITH HER CURRENT STATE.
At the time of this post, Dehya has:
*Mediocre stats and horrible multipliers.
*She has no synergy with Yelan, Xingqiu, Thoma, Beidou, Yun Jin or Fischl at C6.
*She has no synergy with Redhorn or Skyward.
*Her skill makes her dies most of the time when she is on-field.
*Her skill most of the time doesn't interact with dendro cores on burgeon comps.
*Her burst can be cancel with a jump and makes her susceptible to cancel it while trying to break from a freeze reaction.
*Another bug I just found out is that her Burst doesn't lock properly into enemies, making her miss her punches against certain scenarios.
*Her constellations are almost mandatory to make her feel just a little more viable, when this should not be the case in any 5 star unit.
I WILL UPDATE THIS AS LONG I KEEP FINDING THIS PROBLEMS
If you want Hoyo to fix her, then make your voice be heard.

Everytime I see Dehya, I am torn apart. I never cared *that* much about meta or the Abyss, but Dehya was seriously managled so much that She might be worse than Xinyan

Xinyan has better NA scaling but a slower attack speed, Dehya is still faster. But in the end, dehya relies heavily on.. either her e.skill or burst, which is still better than xinyan overall. But for a 5-star, yes, she's way too underwhelming since her kit doesn't synergize with almost anything. She can do great, but another character can do better.
@@Scatterblades same with Kokomi back in the days before dendro came out. A Barbara who's bad in vape comps and on taser and freeze comp, Mona does it better with Omen despite the jelly fish having a longer field time.
I'm not gay or anything but hoyoverse really need more male chracter (the more I see new female character the more 4rno I think the game became)

1.This More or less sums up the community's situation with this disappointment of a Heroine.
2. Dehya needs to make Cat Toy Squeaky Noises while punching things with her bursts then this would be perfect.
3. Agreed, the Fact Dehya throws away her weapon entirely during her burst is honestly Dumb, It's a GIANT BLADE.
i just keep watching this, it's just so gosh darn adorable, the funny dance they do is really fun, and both the scenes at 0:44 - 0:50 and 1:15 - 1:21 are just PRECIOUS
Thats pretty much how my Pulls went, but it was Cynos Spear 2 Times and Instead of Diluc it was Keqing, but i'm really Happy i got her^^.

Personally, I think The Bell looks better on her. Although, frankly everything looks good on her; Redhorne, WGS, etc. Redhorne looks the best though. 👍

I think I repeated myself over way too many Dehya-related videos but to do it again: I was on a Genshin break for a year after a massive fatigue and Dehya is what got me back. Over about 4 months I grinded and saved up and managed to secure 170 pulls at the start of 3.5. I also heard of her having bad kit and such but I didn't care. I already have a personal challenge to always keep the Traveler in slot 1 so not a big deal.
I got Dehya in 30 pulls and her weapon in 10. It's the happiest I've been playing this game. Oh and I'm satisfied enough with her kit and nobody can change my mind.
