It's the final battle of the Fated Clash. If Akina wins, Hikari's illness will be cured, and Suo will be saved from the void. Akina is determined to change the future. With the owners of the Fated Ones looking on, the last fight between the fate of Miracles and Zero begins!

ill admit, the blangd persona ride animation is probably the single most metal thing in vg history

Yep, even in the three eps earlier it's already hinted that he is actually a good cardfighter, like where he noticed and tried to prevent some of Masanori's unit ability

Future Hikari's interference really change course of Akina's match it feels really impactful for me.

Also, it would be also very cool if we see Rezael call Liael with his skill mid-battle, a side-by-side fight of siblings (or lovers if you see it from Rezael's perspective) to deny the so-called 'fate of death'

It's so funny because he sounds like such a nihilist and acts heretical towards the idea of gods; but he actually gives good teachings and people should find inner peace or "zen" through the acknowledgement of their desires.

The last scene of the fight on this chapter shows one thing about Hikari... Remembered how she wished to bring back her brother and that's the reason why she wanted to change the past? She tried to protect him from his fate, and in their fight she refered to rezael as a "useless angel who couldn't even protect him", I think that's the main reason why Liael-Amorta has a PG like skill.

Might be because I'm too engrossed, but Goddamn that was the fastest episode ever lol. And man if only Bushi didn't reveal Liael's PG skill this would've been much much more fire.
True they could feature other promos for 2 weeks. Or just the rideline and redacted the 3rd skill.
They would have to either delay the booster set release or not have the 1 week delay of the episode.

It's kinda ironic that Rezael's lover turned out to be his miracle in surviving this fight lol.

And liael who gain the power of time and for saw his future and wanted to save rezael no matter what! The final miracle that reflects both the cards lore and the players itself that gave Akina the power to make a 1/100 miracle!

To be fair, Suo doesn't know that's gonna happen. He wasn't there when Hikari explained. Though I don't think that would've stopped him anyway

He lose emotion due to losing parents. Gui doesn't know emotion since he born as AI. But even Gui can learn human emotion through Yuyu.

It’s like he forgot the Amorta Hikari gave him. Plus she really tried to make Suo lose the Clash pretty much most of the season so fate’s against Suo I would say haha

@@kodokutamashi1569 I used Rezael in CFA a lot and I’ll have u know it’s less than 50% for a double crits unless u have replenish in play.
@@ingkhoeung2269 I don't know how you use it, but nearly all the match I have seen or play myself. On the Divine Skill turn Rezael got double crits with his drive. All the excuse for deck manipulation is useless here because Rezael shuffles the deck.
@@kodokutamashi1569 how do u use rezael D skill beside shuffling total 8 crits back to deck 😂 (assuming none is at damage zone or hand) you’ll be lucky to at least pull 2 triggers let alone double crits and mostly u’ll be returning 2 or 3 back anyway. IDK how/what matches u play but unless all the grade 4 users u go against casually pulling 1 crit with every TD then it’s less than 50%
I was caught off guard there at the end when he guarded with Liael, then I red everyone in the comments saying they already knew about it..makes me glad I didn't really look at much card reveals so I didn't get spoiled! Also...I Just can't stop hearing Kazuma when his friend speaks. Everytime I expect to hear a Hai, Kazuma desu haha
I was curious to see how they would write this match and honestly having luck being against Akina right from the start to show how fate wasn’t on his side is really nice because it would actually prove how Suo won before, and more importantly show how Akina changes fate, and to be more exact the moment he does because obviously he didn’t have Liael there, and thanks to Taizo’s participation this time around he knows how to play without pg’s
Just realize when I watched the opening for the 12th time, the scene where we see Akina sharing his umbrella to Suo in the rain and both vanishing might as well be foreshadowing towards Suo's wish from the first attempt.
Spoilers!
So basically this episode showed us that Suo is looking for something throughout the fated clash despite saying he doesn't have any wishes, I'm guessing at this point the Fated Clash was his last hope to find something away from his past which he choses to forget, but we all know very well that Akina isn't having any of it, and insist on bothering him to understand him better.
So the cardfight is what you expect, it's two-part fight with no Overtrigger shenanigans, though I do like the combos both players pulled during their individual grade 3 turns, also if this episode ended and we saw what happened at the last few seconds and didn't know Liael's skill it would have had a much more impact, and I personally would have shouted *"WHAT IS THIS DANJI SHENANIGAN!"*
A minor detail I noticed is that the difference from the first and second attempt, in the first attempt Akina seems nervous and Suo is as he is, unlike attempt two where Akina is beginning to trigger something in Suo's memories and Suo becoming more desperate compared to their first fight.
Next is the last episode which will conclude with Akina winning against Suo, or heck we could also have a twist where Suo will win again but unlike last time he'll wish for something this time around, the last few turns of the fight will also give us more about Suo's past which was hinted in this fight.
I personally hope Suo wins and wishes something along the lines of “I wish for Akina’s wish to come true”. Still fits with his whole “I have no wishes” motto
That way it won’t feel like he got robbed by Future Hikari’s meddling in the competition. Because he won fair and square against Akina in the OG timeline.
Plus it’s a bit unfair, Akina has two Fated Ones in the deck.
I actually thought that this was going to be the last episode. It's nice that there's still a one more episode to see.
If only Akina chanted “Come from the future to protect me” the scene would be perfect
Too cheesy since not even the mad monk and Suo include a self-insert sentence for their chants. They are supposed to be told in solemnity or grandeur.

Even though it was expected, I still didn’t see Akina using Armota in his fight against Suo coming, especially since he used it as a guard. That’s a pretty clever way to have Future Hikari involved in helping change her brother’s fate.
Looks like this fight is starting to stir up some memories for Suo. Goes to show that despite everything, Akina’s relentless attempts to get through to him are starting to have an effect.
I like how Akina tried to tell his friends not to show up for the final fight on the off chance that he does lose, but they still show up anyway to support him. Even Masanori’s sticking around just to witness if Akina can really pull off a miracle.
Next week is the final episode of the season and I can’t wait to see the final outcome of this fight!

Wow, i expected Akina to use the Fated One of Time (and i bet i am not the only one), but i didn't know that it had a guard ability. It's a pretty good symbolism of how Hikari/Liael=Amorta time travel to save Akina/Raziel from Suo/Blangdmire
After rereading her effect she actually can do this so for people who didn’t read the effects carefully like me don’t question why this happened

I kind of expected that liael would show up the moment that her skills were released. However, it still gave me the chills when watching this. Come to think of it, wouldn't Liael be a counter card specifically for Blangdmire in a Rezael deck? I mean there are not that much cards in keter that could bind your RG.

Keep nostalgia pandering as far away as possible that garbage has polluted the game long enough.

@@elin111 Garbage? Encounters are super popular especially Shiranui and Luard. Literally every time when I pass by a cardshop, the vanguard players over there would be playing either Shiranui or Luard.

in the timeline where akina died he had not played the sister card because the sister had not witnessed and interacted with the brother and the sister did not know what akina and her duels wanted to do. Going back in time the sister, by giving that card to her brother, changed her destiny and now with that card and other tricks she can win the duel

I like divinez series more than dress series ( I'm not a hater, just not my taste), but if the fated one battles have a prominent villain despite of the fated ones fight each other over a wish, it would be great and I would say these series is on par with G series story. Lacking villain with evil plan is just plain animation. It just my opinion

That's totally impossible! Trickstar can be used in Bavsaraga, but Trickmoon can only be used as CC in Nirvana.

Akina vs Suo Part 1
Akina is saved and protected by Fated One of Time, Liael゠Amorta from Future Hikari to take their chance to defeat Suo Once and for All.
While I love Suo’s design and the animation around him, I really find his dialogue and writing kind of lacking. Like, I get the tone they’re going for, but it always feels off. He mostly comes off as an edgy teenager (albeit, one with trauma), than someone “empty.”
That said, the final fight was very well scripted and I’m genuinely curious about some background things that haven’t been explored. Like the reality BEHIND the Fated Clash, and who is orchestrating these pieces.
I'm a little out of the loop THE FATED ONE OF TIME IS A GUARDIAN? Man going a month without Vanguard made me miss a lot
Lore answer: Liael die on the battle field but through rezeal fated one power and gear chronicle she was resurrected into Liael amorta with the desire to protect the one she loves the most. And so through gear chronicle power she had she travel back in time to save rezeal from blagdmire tragedy
Story answer: akina in every fight with rezeal has created a miracle what would be a better final miracle than the card that contain a desperate resolve to save both akina and rezeal.
