Ever since smash 4 I was able to have an easy recovery but now with smash ultimate these tips will help alot
I would love to do link dittos with you, and just get a training session with you man, your god like i would love to be half as good as you, i would love to compete but im not confident with all my characters yet and link is going to be a huge stepping stone. Hey, I know this is old advice, but I greatly appreciate it. Ive gotten pretty good at tech timing, but it's always seemed futile in attempting at high percents. This comment alone has extended my teching window by a huge margin.

Interesting. I struggle a tad bit with the recovery so what I'll do is try the delayed detonate. I feel like I would often go too early and end up getting myself killed.

What do you mean by drift? I'm new at Smash
When your character is in the air, you drift by moving the joystick left or right to move in your chosen direction. You can also use it to propel yourself even further after being launched, slow down the speed at which you were launched, or set up attacks. Basically, it's controlling your character's aerial movements.

I often find that when I actually NEED to bomb recover, it’s when I’m knocked very horizontally off the stage making it hard to do a bomb recovery since there is little room to fall. Do you have a recommendation of how to practice this on my own? Maybe a character that has a side smash that sends at a low angle? I don’t know any examples though.
Also, do we know what causes Link to drop bombs when getting hit? It happens to me a lot.
Ganondorf's forwars tilt seems to send u off the stage in a pretty low angle, u could use that to practice I guess
percentages around 60+ make you drop it

I use the switch joy cons I don’t have other controls so please make another video for joy cons players
The switch joy cons are the same buttons as the pro controller :)

Yes absolutely:) i use switch pro controller. as long as you're able to press grab and down B reaaaally fast then you should be able to do it with any controller.
LxZ Link just clarifying, grabbing will instantly drop it and not throw it far away from you?
@@thomasv.2383 pressing the grab button will instantly drop the bomb if your control stick is set to neutral (you're not touching it) but will throw the bomb if you input a direction.

What makes learning these harder methods worth it?
the harder methods allow you to recover faster, and to save your double jump. Both of which are extremely good when trying to not get edgeguarded
