Yes, Elvis asked everyone to pay what they could afford for their ticket. He was a great believer in making sure all his fans could afford to see him. The y expected to raise $25,000 but it actually raised $75,000! ( about $250,000 in todays money!) 👌💕🕺

Sandro de América was the first singer to perform a TV concert via satellite in the world's history. The concert in question was broadcast live from MSG April 1970. Elvis's show was brosdcast live only in parts of Asia and Oceania January 12th 1973. Later in Europe and in USA 4th of April due to Super Bowl. ❤

Pls can anyone tell me a voice today that is this pure that can sing, Rock, Country, Gospel.. with so much passion... Just give Elvis a guitar or piano and he could make it happen.. The purity of his voice alone... amazing.. He could sing the everything and anything and make it beautiful. And he's not my era.... I'm 2 decades later... but this man was amazing. He didn't have to show his range in this song.. it was a soft song.. and he made it beautiful.

This might be my favorite from the Aloha concert. Every single time I hear him sing, “ … as a warm summer breeze …” OhEmGee I just melt. And that smile! It's hard to believe, just 4 short years after this Aloha From Hawaii Concert, Elvis passed. Everyone remembers where they were and what they were doing on that dreadful day. Always in our hearts and minds forever. Long may he Reign, the King Forever❤❤❤❤

All Elvis fans and fan clubs and reactors should email the Library of Congress of the USA to nominate Elvis for the Gershwin Award , he meets the criteria. Elton John and Bernie Taupin just one for 2023. Either a writer or performer who impacted the culture and music, that s him plus his generosity, charities he gave too, opened door for black artists and many others, rock bands, etc. His fashion, his brand, original O.G. sang rick, country, r&b, gospel, ballads, rockabilly, contemporary. No other artist has done that and still loved after 47 years after his death. He never won many awards, let's get him this for 2024

I watched the show live on tv February 1973 this was my favorite song of the show. Today it remains one of my all time favorites it brings back sweet memories I have of a girl I met and spent time with for a few days in 1974 and I still remember her long after that endless summer has gone so many sad years ago.
