As a chinese, I was disappointed in the crowd. Look at how the koreans cheered for IG in 2018. I felt really bad for Damwon when they lifted the trophy to silence, they probably worked really hard to get there only to win in front of thousands who weren't supportive of them. Props to damwon for not letting it affect their gameplay. If they lost, I would've attributed it to psychological factors rather than skill based ones.
Really hope future finals will have live audience cheering for both teams.

UK if the China crowd wasn't this disrespectful, and the opening ceremony wasn't so bad, I would have felt more hype watching this series, cause it genuinely was a close series(until game 4). I remember last Yr, even tho Fpx was getting kills, EU fans were cheering for them. But here, unless it's China winning, the crowd is completely silent. Plus even Dwg won, no one cheered, and when Dwg were introduced, no one cheered. I sometimes think that China is overhated, and wanted them to show their manners today. But it just left me even more disappointed.

Still both teams gave us such an intense series that could go either way and it was so close every game, except for game 4. Atleast it wasnt one sided by getting 3-0'd like the past 2 worlds lol. It felt inevitable with just how damn good Damwon looked but Suning, ty for making this year so interesting. Their dark horse run really kept me engaged this year.

I would like to see an analysis on how Damwon systematically dismantled their opponents. These guys just don't have the ballsy confidence, but also the perfect understanding and analysis of the situation on the rift. Everytime the casters in Damwon's match casts, I always hear the "They are one step ahead of their opponents". These guys aren't just mechanically excellent individuals, but a pure genius on the rift.

When LPL won the worlds twice, both teams had Korean midlaner and toplaner (Rookie, TheShy, DoinB, Gimgoon).
It’s so sad that China has 20 times population of Korea and still has to import Korean players to win. Also, LPL has improved ever since they started importing Korean players and coaches. I guess LCK is just fundamentally better than LPL.

Congrats DWG, what a run its been for this team. SN also deserves credit for making this such an interesting series (bar the last game, could tell Bin was tilted).
On a side note, pls do contrast the journey of DWG and G2, both lineups making their debut in season 9. Contrast their work ethnic and attitude. This season, G2 was that of a fall from grace while DWG was that of a hero's journey.
Maybe if they actually changed their work ethnics, G2 might actually hoist the Summoner's Cup next season.
As I said before I really miss the crowd's noise Damwon really did a good job silencing them lol. Also It's nice to have a Korean team back in being champions again since 2017.

Yes the Shanghai crowd is shit, but I also believe one of the reasons FPX cheer exist is because there was quite a number of Chinese in the crowd last year. This year no foreign audience at all thanks to Twitch, which made the bad atmosphere so obvious
if they cheer for korea they are gon be dead.
Think about one thing, lots of Chinese fun in paris 2019 whereas no korea fans in Shanghai 2020 because of COVID-19, thats the difference, understand?

So many comments on the crowd today. As a Shanghainese, I want to say sorry for the crowd. I think since the censorship wall between mainland China and the world, we don't show good hospitality to foreigners a lot. Today isn't the first time and I don't think it would be the last. The society is a little depressed and hostile to other countries because of the education from CCP. Many people holds a nationalism attitude to these world events. But still, cheers for DWG, they really are a better team today.
