Honestly I like how Beck doesn’t destroy the “robot-masters” but actually restores them and then later helping him that could have worked if the rest of the game was better
I generally don’t try looking at flaws in games if the issues are just minor, so could you remind me what was bad about this game? I know it was a poor attempt at making a Megaman-like spin-off, but I don’t remember why people thought it sucked.
as a Mega Man fan boy, the robot masters DO get restored (at least Lights robots do) Mega just blows them up first and they get repaired after the events of the games
I honestly liked this game, yes it had it's flaws but I found it enjoyable. The bosses had unique encounters and personalities. I honestly wished we got to see more of Ray. She was honestly alot more interesting than Beck's generic personality
I looked through the comments and I’m so glad that people enjoy one of the first video games I ever played, I would play it again, if I still had my ps4, but mighty gunvolt burst still satisfies me
I really like how it's shown explicitly that Beck is saving the Robot Masters, and not destroying them. I really feel like the MegaMan series could benefit from being more blunt about that. I feel like 11 and Powered Up did it best, but there's still room.
Yeah, Powered Up did it great where if the player doesn't use any weapons against the boss (Buster only), the boss won't explode and is shown being brought back to Light's lab for repair. It always implied that so long as their memory chip remains, they can just be rebuilt, but the idea of having to just fix them from being reprogrammed instead of having to rebuild them again is just better.
Zero died..... _how many_ times? And Issoc and Serges may be the 'biometal' version of Wily himself, beating Wier to the punch by centuries. And the Light Capsules seem cognizant. And Mikhail, Thomas, and Albert store human body parts in stasis, and Albert was putting his DNA into both reploids and humans. 'Death' doesn't seem that consequential to robots/reploids until the Legends era, when the various overseer systems have gone offline, per The Master's orders, and it seems that the Carbons are human-reploid _hybrids._ And then Megaman.EXE is Lan's dead brother's digitized _soul_ or something.
Fun Fact: Mighty No. 9 actually pays homage to a manga called, "Cyborg 009" in which Beck and the other 8 Mighty Numbers are built to be like a family. Similar to how Cyborg 009 and the other Cyborgs are built like a group of fighting cyborgs.
This game is actually amazing and has pretty cool mechanics, the thing is and why people hated it so much is because the team had a gigantic budget and could overall have better potential with voice acting, visuals, and level design but overall I had a very good time back when it was released
Bit of a silly idea but maybe you can show off some of the Mighty "team ups" ? Like during the Battalion's stage; if you already cure Cryo; he will freeze up these missile enemies from the far end of the screen for you. Kinda like how Shade showed up for the Aviator stage
I kinda wish that Beck would keep his transformed appearance (if any) for the "data drain"-esque cut-scenes. Little things that don't really matter in the grand scheme of things but would look pretty neat, methinks.
I like Mighty No. 9 And is a fan of it. It reminded me of Mega Man X in a way. I also liked how Mighty Gunvolt Burst had a classic MegaMan styled DLC of Mighty No. 9 Beck. I like Mighty No. 9 cause it reminds me of MegaMan. The gameplay, characters, OST BGM Soundtrack, and storyline reminds me so much of MegaMan. And I'd like to see the Mighty No. 9 Animated series become an actual TV Show. I've seen and played far worse thing than this. So I'm just curious is all. Is there anyone else who actually likes Mighty No. 9? I still find it enjoyable. And Keiji Inafune can make a sequel game. And update the graphics and gameplay quality. And get the show going. I know I'm not the only one out there that likes Mighty No. 9 for what it is. Besides It's not the worse thing out there.

Yeah Mighty No 9 could've been better I will admit that but tbh it was fun for me frustrating at times but it was fun. Also when they bicker like siblings in the final level warms my heart! Btw Avi is best Mighty Number👌
I honestly fairly like the game, it has a lot of charm. Yeah it has big flaws, but they can possibly be solved by how you play. I think its big problem was its MANY Delays! So much to where no one cared about the game anymore.
Usually you can still jam to the boss music even during battle. But I feel like the music in Mighty No.9 gets muted or dampened from the fight sfx, or the defaulr music volume here is low to begin with imo.

It sure looks like a game where the hate was overblown.
