This is my husband's account. I mostly agree with everything said here...except the advice for reducing heart disease. New research suggests that eating a ketogenic diet is best for reducing factors that cause heart disease. It's essentially a diet high in healthy fats, lots of low carb vegetables, moderate protein, and very few low carb fruits. I've tried it myself, and my triglycerides and LDL cholesterol has come down significantly. My HDL (good cholesterol), increased. Also, all of my endocrine dysfunction is now well regulated. For more information, check out Dr. Eric Berg on RUclips. God bless!

I'm sorry brother, but there is solid evidence that the real optimal LDL levels are between 35-70. I doubt that you can achieve this results in a keto diet. Sure, they got lower than the previous levels you had it but this doesn't mean they are optimal. Why not experiment a plant-based diet for 21 days? God bless.

It was all going so well until they started stuffing the Bible down my throat.
