Here is something that is crazy. Bon Scott actually went to a club before he died and heard Brian sing and said if they ever had to replace him, he would be perfect.
The lead guitarist name is the legendary ANGUS YOUNG if you wanna see more of him going crazy check out in my opinion their biggest and greatest song “THUNDERSTRUCK”
i love this reaction, the fact you done some research makes this better, you should react to AC/DC live at river plate or any live as thats what AC/DC do best but river plate is a crazy show
Absolutely I like to believe every song has a great story behind it. Sometimes the story is even better than the song. I always make it my business to do my homework on it first . Thanks for watching.
Great reaction… imagine this is the opening track in the Back n Black album?!?! Also the album itself is the highlight selling Rick album of all time and second best selling album … Thriller being number 1
I’m a pretty big fan of AC/DC and had no clue of the history of Brian Johnson feeling the message of Bon Scott and the bell 🔔. Cool reaction. I’ll have to check out Alex H. more often.
You watch someone reacting to a song. When they start bopping to the beat, freeze and watch a highlight, you know they are into what they are hearing and seeing.
I play an AC DC song almost everyday…….I am a proud Aussie. You have lots of incredible music to discover. My husband and I still refer to Brian as the new singer as Bon Scott was their singer when we were young. There are some great documentaries around too. Angus joined when still at school and wearing his school uniform started because he went straight from school to band rehearsal. Really love your reaction too. Julia
You should probably check out their songs when Bon Scott was singing. It's a great way to see where they started, to see how they got where they are. I suggest : It's a Long Way to the Top, Shot Down in Flames, and Touch Too Much. The first song I mentioned, is actually their first song that got them noticed. And, I'll just add, if you've never heard bagpipes played in a Rock n Roll song, get ready for a unique and enjoyable experience.
The bell was specially made for AC/DC by John Taylor and Co. Bellfounders - a foundry in Loughborough, England, as they had originally tried to record church bells that had pigeons in the bell tower and of course, they spoiled the sound. It was tuned to the key of "A", which the song is in. Since Back in Black came out, the bell has been a regular part of their touring set up, with Brian tolling on it to start the song. The bell recording was recorded in the foundry itself to get the right feel after the band had finished recording the rest of the album in the Bahamas at Compass Point Studio.
You started with the 1st song from the Back in Black Album. May I suggest the entire album as a introduction to ACDC? The whole album was in honor of Bon Scott with each song being a powerhouse. Also not a single song is sad it's all pure hard rock and roll with a side blues. Great reaction man hope to see more ACDC on the channel
Can't agree more ! I am biased because "Back In Black" was my first foray into AC⚡DC, my first adult album when I was 12. The entire album is wicked ! Not a skip on the entire album !
Rush is a band you need to check out. Everything you said you like in a song, Rush delivers in bucket loads. Start with Spirit of Radio, Tom Sawyer, Red Barchetta, Subdivisions
@@Clnt874 never said AC/DC and Rush were the same. But, you're entitled to your opinion. To each his own. I happen to love both bands, but I find Rush's music far more cerebral... both musically and lyrically.
I was in Atlanta in '81 when AC/DC was there for their "For Those About to Rock" tour. They began the show with the stage dark, and began with Hell's Bells by bringing a giant brass bell down out of the ceiling, and the "BONG" notes on it were [lead guitarist] Angus Young beating on it with his guitar! Then, half way through the show, after several numbers, Angus has his shirt off. He gets on Brian and Malcolm's shoulders and they carry him through the audience in front of the stage (where I was!) Angus was jamming on that guitar a MASSIVE solo like: a) there would be no tomorrow, and b) This would be the reason. Total respect! No one reached out or grabbed them or got in the way. It was perfection. Best rock show I've ever seen. (And I also saw Rush, Moving Pictures and Van Halen, 1984). All good wishes!
Strange part about Brian Johnson replacing Bon Scott, it was Bon that brought Brian to the rest of the band's attention, before he died, brought them to see him live one night, in Brian's old band
I saw this group live in 1990 with the Razor'd Edge Tour....best concert ever. What I especially loved was the fact that there were people of all ages rocking out - these dudes are the real deal. I love that you did some research before your reaction. I live in Nova Scotia and we have an amazing underrated band from the 70's & 80's named April Wine. Check out their song Roller - it's pure rock'n'roll with amazing guitar and drums....the full meal deal! Peace, Health and Happiness to you and yours.
I love AC/DC, from their earliest days to the present time. But I've got to say the look on your face was priceless. They actually took the bell with them on tour for a number of years, but then pre-recorded the bells as they got a bit older and Brian didn't feel safe riding the bell while it rang anymore. And as you can imagine it was a bitch to cart around.
Man... I grew up on AC/DC, Led Zep, Deep Purple... all thanks to my Grandad. Hey I'm subscribed because of this Alex bro... keep it coming man. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🇺🇸

Thanks for the great reaction. Any AC/DC song live from River Plate will be a good example of what they were to rock music. Just what you said...a good time
Bit of Hells Bells trivia, the bell you are hearing is the AC/DC bell being played by the man who made it in the foundry it was made in. It was recorded there on the spot.
Since the 70s I have been to every AC/DC concert blowing through the area. I hope to be able to attend several more. My favorite concert band ever....and I've been to many, including McCartney. AC/DC is great every single time, but they very old and probably have a limited amount of time left. And this is all they do, Alex. Nothing but hard rock straight through. Never change their lineup. Never change their sound although they are the first group I've ever seen able to incorporate bagpipes very successfully into a rock song. They have a very deep rabbit hole to explore.
The Bell is the American 'Liberty Bell'. Spot the huge crack in it. The Liberty Bell cracked up, literally, in , when it was rung on President's Day, celebrated on Washington's birthday, and then stopped ringing because of damage from a major crack. The guitarist is Angus Young... lead singer Brian Johnson.
