how does a fixed gear bike differ from a road bike, first of all, the price difference is insane, i can get a fixie for around 200-300, while most new road bikes can cost up to 1000. Im looking for speed and acceleration and heard that fixie have the least which can help it, but the model is identical to a road bike, expect the gear is different.
I prefer fixed gear for the simplicity. Easy maintenance and ALMOST indestructible drive train. I also feel fixed gear can build your endurance really quick since you never stop peddling! 🤙🏼
@@Fixedgearr Yea that helps for using a physical bike instead of e bike a lot, I was about to dumb over 500 on a used road bike, when I researched a bit more about fixies
I use a mix of both 😅 Skidding is ALMOST a necessity to riding fixed but I started with a front break then learned to skid and took it off. But now I just don’t skid every time or els I’d be replacing tires a lot 🤙🏼
Your channel continues to grow!! How about a video where you discuss "why you ride brakeless." That would get some views and would be interesting.
Thank you!! 🤙🏼 I appreciate the support and I’ll have to make one! That’s a great idea 🔥
@@Fixedgearr I enjoy brakeless, and while realize it's not for everyone, I truly wish everyone could experience it or at the very least consider it
I ride fixed and brakeless in Seattle! And do deliveries. So basically this is just different scenery to watch lol
It’s just pizza 🖤
Pizza time
Right on time!🤙🏼😅
ITS JUST PIZZA!
Favorite part 😅😅🤙🏼

hi do you ever skid if you need to stop or just back pedal pressure
I usually use back pedal pressure just to save my tire a little 😅🤙🏼
so it's ok to just use back pedal pressure if your speeding? I just started january and still don't know how to skid

@@Fixedgearr do you have a tutorial for skidding?
Yes I do! Go check it out on my channel. Although I could make a better one now it should help out
