When I finally received someone who knew what I was talking about (name change documents verifying my identity) it was fine. As well, once I was established with someone and if the connection somewhere was not quite right..connection gone and you have to start over again. It took Nine tries through six hours during my workday to get my closing documents notarized. Once I found someone with a good connection and who understood what to look for, Took 90 minutes.

I noticed in the video there was no brief description of what the signer was signing and the state and county section was not filled in; was this to keep the video short, or is it not necessary during an online signings?

Great video! I do have two questions. 1. When Ryan says he is "locking" the form, how is that actually done (I didn't see any mouse movement or keystones to "lock" it. 2.Also, I didn't see any borrower signature appear on the Deed of Trust (nor the signature line for that matter), although I did see the notarization process completed. Am I missing something? Thanks! Look forward to working with you in AZ.
I've been doing GNW with Notarize for about a month now. I haven't done any closings online. However, I do have a question about covering documents. When doing an in-person closing, a LSA will briefly explain what the document is. Not answering specific questions but rather a brief overview of the package. I didn't notice that here. Are we not doing this on Notarize and treating this a a typical RON with several documents?
Is there a hold, or a pause button on this? Many times people do have to use the restroom because they have to go, they're a bit nervous and so they have to go. So is there a pause button?
At what point is the Digital certificate applied so the docs cannot be altered since the signer has them once the E Seal was applied and the notarization closed ? Does the platform automatically apply it ?

I hope so much!!!! I'm in a state that doesn't allow me to use these types of platforms. But I have health issues and makes physically meeting with people difficult.

Notarize has to be one of the most complicated platforms I ever had to use. I am trying to shorten my learning curve. Hope your videos are helpful cause otherwise I will have to ditch your platform for good. P.S. customer service is worthless (for the amount of money you will hold back on each notarization service provide live *useful* customer support).
Does notarize provide the customer with the password?

How do you know how to notarize document u never seen before
you're not notarizing the document itself. you're notarizing the fact that the person who signs the document is who he says he is and that he knows and acknowledges that he is signing the specific document that is in front of him/her and the notary. so no, notaries don't have to know each and every document they notarize.
