Finally, this is what I was talking about! So sick and tired of new brands ripping off either Vans, Converse or both simultaneously. This is a breath of fresh air. Hopefully they fit TTS because I bought the Skate Style 53 from Vans and, unless I take away the main event from it which is the insole, I can't wear them. If they do, these will immediately replace them.
I started skating in the early to mid 2000s when shoes were still pretty tech, the accel was beginning to really blow up thanks to PJ Ladd coming on to the scene. Nike sb was just coming back. Over the years my style of skating and dressing changed a million times before i settled in to what shoes i liked. Mostly Vans classics, slips, half cabs, sk8-his with occasional addidas gazzelles. Anywho at about 24 i took a hiatus when i tried to give an injury time to heal and ended up getting into dope til age 32 (2022). Upon returning Ive fell in love with sb. blazers & especially blazer mids in addition to the classics, but now with work and being back in school as well as being out of shape, there are times all ive got the energy to do is cruise around and hit some curbs. Although I love vans slip-ons ive been looking for another slip on shoe but with a slightly different look and those Cohibas look amazing. As much as im trying to get anywhere close to as decent as I once was, some shoes and setup combinations give me so much joy just doing simple shit
I literally thought the same thing about the whit and black one reminds me if the ellington. Emerica. It's pretty cool. I like the idea. But I like more bold branding. The white and black are the best looking ones.
They don’t run narrow. Not to me. But man…. Feet are so weird.. they operate by some sort of dark magic that doesn’t make sense. These fit super well. One thing I hate about most endemic skate brands is that they’ve gone way too narrow. These are not that way. But! I’d you wear a triple wide shoe….. you prolly fucked. lol
Is there a shoe that you’d say fits similar to the Cohibas? I always struggle between 9.5 and 10. I find that Vans and Nike usually fits great in a 9.5, but some Sole tech stuff like the Joslins or most Es are better at a 10. What would y’all recommend?
Actually like both colors of the Ours is Your slip on. They look comfortable, I’m an 11-11.5 on the wider side, usually have issues w some Slip-ons… Born in the 60’s, so I’m trying to avoid bending over to put anything on…🤣😂🤘🏽
Hi, Do u think they are wide or narrow ? I have pretty wide feet and we have not got them i Sweden just yet. So i have to order them online without trying them on.
Been digging the brand since their first drop, but they’re mad expensive and idk what the sizing is like. Ah wait, I thought this was the collab brand with Ellington? I thought all of their kicks were made in Italy?
@@DavidBluetile When Hours started, i thought it was a joint venture between Ellington and Herman. A few months back when I saw Ellington skating the Li-Ning brand, I was so confused as to whether Hours would remain a lifestyle brand or if he was off the team.
Maybe so. Not sure. Honestly if you’re interested we’re doing a sale on the bluetile website right now and you could get 3 pairs of hours is yours for about 100 bucks. Sale shoes are buy two get one free
ya know, I do love the nike stuff. and nike does a great job of bringing people into the shop. they work hard on bringing in new customers by creating energy towards product. I love that. my viewers seem to as well. a nike video will get 6000 views and this video will likely stay in the 600 range. that said!!! I appreciate your comment on this video because it helps push the algorithm and generates hype for this one! its better than making a negative comment on a nike video (which people do) because negative or not its still driving energy towards that nike video. so yeah!!! the more people that support my non nike videos the more views they'll get! woo!

I think the fit will be solid. The dress shoe is more snug though

Hey. Real talk. I’m glad you made it to the other side and were able to return to skating.
It’s about time. The Emerica Herman are my all time favorites.
Man this video is about two years old now and sadly this brand didn’t perform very well. Herman is def a beast
always stoked to see skater owned companies coming up.

🙀 The b/w especially. Can’t go wrong with a penny loafer. Excellent concept.
Reminds me of converse sea star but fits a little better
The “our c71” is super clean‼️
Very nice. Checking them out on the website. ✌️
did you end up scooping a pair?
Definitely considering a pair for sure but what size would you recommend boss ? I wear size 9 in cons and size 9.5 in vans pros and nikes!!
I think they fit more like converse than vans. Irving says they feel more like the Lakai Owen than anything
How does it feel compared to last resort ab or vans? I wear 9 in those brands and worry about this oursisyours runs narrow

I think the 9.5 would be good

Hahaha I feel that. But honestly I’m the same way and the slip on was a good fit. No battle. The chunky bottom one though… def runs

They’re wiser than most brands out right now but I wouldn’t call them a wide shoe.
I've been looking for streetwear suede penny loafer/loafer style shoes for a long time. This brand is great
I think we have some on clearance on our website if youre looking for some. they may have already moved out.
@@DavidBluetile no I got some on their site already. Thanks

Ellington is repping that Li-Ning brand

Maybe they’ll do a Herman 2 reissue

I just say that because … honestly this brand didn’t take off like I’d hoped.
Finally swooped some
What ya think?
@@DavidBluetile they’re really nice
@@GregMuniz7 awesome!
“Dressy Tom Penny Vibe”. Yes, and yes.
👍👍👍👍👍👍

@@DavidBluetile suprised nike draws that many people. No body around me skates them. Only hypebeast crowd and non skaters care about them.
love bryan herman
Yea!!
I like the idea but just definitely not for me personally
Yeah. I’m not 100% into this myself. Hyped on skater owned brands though
