- Hey Everyone, In this video I ride some of my favorite gravel stretches in Northeast Pa. I ran into a flooded out section of abandoned roadway outside of Gouldsboro State Park. It is usually a pretty clear stretch of trail, still fun to ride, but staying dry was a challenge. The Specialized Epic charged right Thru, and handled the situation. Turned out to be an interesting 50 mile day, with the flooded area really being the highlight. Always interesting to get up to that region of PA.
Thanks for following along everybody, Catch you on the road.

Another successful ride and no attacks from killer muskrats in the swamp.😂😂 Thanks for the video and take care, Al
I really enjoy Sunday morning coffee, watching your adventures. I have to work this weekend, so can't get out myself
Love the music when you were 1st headed down the gravel. 🤙🏼
Nice mudhole. Great practice for your future event.
That seems like alot of work, but your havin fun. You dont camp much anymore. Thanx.
I was digging the mood music. Cool! Fun ride, thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Good to see that Epic back in the wind. Just brought mine home from Romania to SC and putting new brake pads on it so I can hit the road down South. Looking forward to more videos.
Sounds great!
You have some of the best bikepacking videos out there. I've been watching your GDMBR adventures and am a fan! (p.s. I live in Canon City)
Watching from Tasmania mate. Love the chill way you approach the rides and the challenges they can bring. Stay safe..
Glad you like them!
Think I hiked that flooded spot in Gouldsboro in summer. Was flooded then as well. Got covered in ticks. Haha
Lots of ticks up this way, I’ve never seen that spot flooded before.
That was fun to watch from the comfort of my dry couch. You sporting the merino wool socks? Fitzwater swears by them even when they’re wet and cold. I’m not sold….
Yep, Its all about the wool.In one form or another. Cotton is fine for single day rides though, I find. Wool buddy, Wool.
Are you heading south for the winter? thank you for an awesome video. regards...
I think I’m going to try to stick it out Thru winter in the north.
What happened to the ‘pew’ noise at the beginning of the video? Love that…
Ha, I’ll bring it back for ya.
That music reminds me of Napoleon Dynamite.
Thanks for taking us along. Central Massachusetts has a lot of those low lying bogs as well. Do you post your routes on Strava or somewhere else? Would love to ride many of these trails. Mark from Jerzey 👍
Hey, I don’t post my routes anywhere.
@@TravelingThru222 totally understand. In any case, you show us some really nice areas to ride. Kudos on the growth of the channel. Your editing is great and your drone shots make the rides even more interesting. Happy trails, Mark.
A Pack raft is what I need to carry now, And an ore I suppose.
That would be so much fun.
Burmese pythons, alligators, swamps...what could go wrong?
Yep, nope. All good.
You know, riding on a wet trail damages it 😕
Bumski. I'll blame it on the scooter guys.
this is the place where i was killed by the hat man.
