The Republic of Korea Air Force display team, the Black Eagles have been in the UK for a number of weeks, preparing for their UK & European airshows.
Flying eight examples of the indigenously developed and afterburner equipped KAI T-50 Golden Eagle advanced jet trainer, the team were reformed in 2009 and this marks only the second time they have visited Europe.
The team have been based at MOD Boscombe Down, and following a number of individual test flights, this is the first 'shakedown' formation flight of the team in the UK, in 2022.
Filmed in the skies over Yeovil and RNAS Yeovilton, this is a first glimpse of what the Black Eagles will have in store for the many thousands of airshow goers this summer.
They look to be warming up nicely....

They’re practicing near my house it’s really awesome to watch they are practicing again on Monday and Tuesday and I can’t wait to walk closer to the runway to watch them take off
That's great Ben. They are scheduled to practice from Monday with a first display at Southport on Friday. They are due to leave Boscombe Down on Friday around 10.30/11.00 to return around 11.50.
@@militaryaviationtv That was an awesome display they were right above my head very load but loved it and at the end the taxied right in front of me about 40 meters away

Just had a free display over the Home Bargains warehouse in Amesbury. The noise echoing round was epic. Everyone came out to watch. Excellent 👍

@@militaryaviationtv they took off at about 10:45 and were up for about 40-45 minutes. And we’re above boscombe/ amesbury the whole time
