Its a bit disappointing that some of these get the members wrong a lot of times. Some of the channels definitely just rushed to get them out for views. This song is like the finisher for non-Moos and moomoos alike. If you still thinking about stanning them, you will after watching the MV. If you're already a Moomoo, there is no way back, you will be in for life. With that being said I hope to see your reaction to the MV soon. - The way Solar composed "I'm your fan" is for it to be used in their concerts. It has that disco vibe with a bit of trap. The trap break down part is when they go off with dancing and goofing around (They did that on the Vlive showcase) so it has this fun and playful vibe to it. Its a cute and funny song. It has a weird bored background voices at one part, and the lips bbrrrrrrrrr sound. I laugh a lot. This album is like opening a pandora box of music. At one time we want to dance, at one part we get calm from their voices, at one part we cry, at one part we laugh. That what i love about mmm. That "President Hwasa...." caption was basically a summary of this entire year! 1st, it was the MAMA outfit and the gold one from her "handclap" award show stage, then knetz were getting on her for her "provocative" outfit at the airport (a crop top and high waisted pants😑). When she came back from that specific trip, she wasn't wearing a bra and they got on her for that too. Non stop hate. Then she releases Hip😂😂

The rap breakdown in hip is hella wrong hwasa‘s version said ‘ snot-covered shirt(I think), visible panties, oily/greasy hair if I do it it’s hip’. It’s not exactly the same as moonbyul’s
So this may or may not related to HIP, I just can't help but think back to the time when Solar got bashed because she showed her bareface in public. That led to a whole section of ykbk calling out hater on live. That maybe the most serious I ever seen Solar been. It really hurt me knowing she must be affected by what they said. But MMM never stop appear in public barefaced. And Yong even did a whole bareface video on her channel. Man, I'm just glad I became their fan. They spared us so many heartbreak when it should be the opposite.
I agree, Moonbyul's vocal tone is really beautiful. The best way I can describe it is like a thick sheet of silk. You'll probably love "Worthless" and "In My Room" when you get to them. :) To correct one part of the translation of Hip that you watched, during the bridge Moonbyul says "stained tee, protruding mouth, oily hair, doesn't matter". But instead of protruding mouth Hwasa says "protruding panties" (as in underwear), bc that's what she wore at the airport that people ridiculed. She also wore it during that part of the MV. 😁

This album is pure gold! And as expected, it's very versatile. Love all the tracks. First song you reviewed is Universe, from Mommy Hwasa teaser. Right off the bat from the teasers, I had a feeling I would enjoy Universe and ZzZz the most. Latter is from Princess Solar teaser, which is about being bored lol, and wanting to have fun w/friends - there's eng sub available now. Universe and ZzZz stick to my head the most atm. They're ridiculously refreshing and playful! So happy MMM sang those styles.

Ch00si posted a better tranlsation for it (and for all the other songs as well) on twitter, I would recommend you reading it there again. Concerning the reference to the scandalous outfits -I think the "headline" that appears when Hwasa is the president is a reference to one particuar outfit she wore when they went to the airport. A few weeks ago she wore unzipped jeans and you could see the bikershorts she wore under them (knetz really didn't like that). When hwasa repeats what moonbyul raps before her, she says "painties sticking out" - I think this is another reference to this airport outfit and during the video both Solar and Hwasa wear unzipped pants at one point.

(there are a lot of difference between the two shows, but they've got the same general idea) mamamoo is only the second girl group (behind exid, i believe) to have all members show up as contestants on the show. just more proof of 'yes, they can all sing'. even if they all wound up getting beat by exceptionally talented artists (wheein was a strong contender for winner on her episode, but went up against the guy who not only eventually won the episode, but stayed king for weeks afterwards. and it was kind of funny because he's someone she and the others have competed against on immortal songs before)

So this may or may not related to HIP, I just can't help but think back to the time when Solar got bashed because she showed her bareface in public. That led to a whole section of ykbk calling out hater on live. That maybe the most serious I ever seen Solar been. It really hurt me knowing she must be affected by what they said. But MMM never stop appear in public barefaced. And Yong even did a whole bareface video on her channel. Man, I'm just glad I became their fan. They spared us so many heartbreak when it should be the opposite.

To correct one part of the translation of Hip that you watched, during the bridge Moonbyul says "stained tee, protruding mouth, oily hair, doesn't matter".
But instead of protruding mouth Hwasa says "protruding panties" (as in underwear), bc that's what she wore at the airport that people ridiculed. She also wore it during that part of the MV. 😁

This album is pure gold! And as expected, it's very versatile. Love all the tracks. First song you reviewed is Universe, from Mommy Hwasa teaser. Right off the bat from the teasers, I had a feeling I would enjoy Universe and ZzZz the most. Latter is from Princess Solar teaser, which is about being bored lol, and wanting to have fun w/friends - there's eng sub available now. Universe and ZzZz stick to my head the most atm. They're ridiculously refreshing and playful! So happy MMM sang those styles.

I noticed that some lyrics for HIP are a bite wrong. Ch00si posted a better tranlsation for it (and for all the other songs as well) on twitter, I would recommend you reading it there again.
Concerning the reference to the scandalous outfits -I think the "headline" that appears when Hwasa is the president is a reference to one particuar outfit she wore when they went to the airport. A few weeks ago she wore unzipped jeans and you could see the bikershorts she wore under them (knetz really didn't like that). When hwasa repeats what moonbyul raps before her, she says "painties sticking out" - I think this is another reference to this airport outfit and during the video both Solar and Hwasa wear unzipped pants at one point.

One of those outfits was in the video (the Jean and white T-shirt with the underwear out). The other was a day that hwasa arrived at the airport braless, and it was super controversial for Koreans

@@JenJenEntertainment i was about to try to explain the show to you, then realized you've probably seen stuff about the travesty that is the american version, based on the korean version... (there are a lot of difference between the two shows, but they've got the same general idea)
mamamoo is only the second girl group (behind exid, i believe) to have all members show up as contestants on the show. just more proof of 'yes, they can all sing'. even if they all wound up getting beat by exceptionally talented artists (wheein was a strong contender for winner on her episode, but went up against the guy who not only eventually won the episode, but stayed king for weeks afterwards. and it was kind of funny because he's someone she and the others have competed against on immortal songs before)
