I'm not really surprised nobody had been or wanted to go to America.
Ik heb heel veel mooi vakanties gehad, maar ik vind het leuk naar Nederland te bezoeken, om mijn Nederlands te oefeningen. Ik ben twee keer geweest -naar Amsterdam, Utrecht, en Giethoorn (super mooi). Ik wil terug naar Nederland om Den Haag en Rotterdam te zien.
Ik vind het heel leuk om naar dit leuke, lichte gesprek te luisteren. Ik heb deze taal geleerd toen ik een kind was.👍👍👍
Ik ben maal ses maanden in USA, kanada en een beetje in México geweest. Het was een heel mooie en interessante reiservaring.

Ik vind jullie video's heel nuttig! Dank jullie wel! De leukste reis die ik ooit heb gedaan was met mijn echtgenoot naar Japan. We waren er voor twee weken geweest en we hebben veel steden bezocht. Ik wil al heel lang naar Engeland, maar dat is nog steeds niet gelukt. Ik hoop dat we kunnen er na corona gaan.

I'm still a beginner in Dutch, but in the accent I've been exposed to, the "ei" tends to be pronounced a bit closer to english's "a" as in "sad", followed by a short "e". Or like in "hey" if you open your mouth a lot
But in this video from Groningen it seems to me that it's pronounced more close tothe german "Ei".
Is that really so? Or am I crazy? Thanks a lot!
Groningen has its own accent

These people do not speak with a Groningen accent. They pronounce ei/ij correctly. Short e (of met) followed by j. German ei sounds to Dutch like ai.
You might have heard a Flemish accent. In Belgium the `ei' vowl is usually mispronounced as èèè`. In some regions in The Netherlands the `ei' vowl is mispronounced as `ai'. The correct Dutch way is essentialy like how the ei vowl is pronounced in French (for instance appareil).
