@@gramcc514I have seen people make a cone shape by curling paper into a cone, taping to secure and trimming bottom so it stands straight. Looks easy to do. Hint: heavier paper makes a stronger cone. Could staple edges together along with tape. 😊
Julie, why not take a smaller bottle brush tree. Glue it to the Mason jar lid ( the tin lid with the milk glass in center.) Screw it to the Mason jar ,turn upside-down. Use like a cloche. ❤
Absolutely love all of your projects!! Question, once you move and get settled, will you go back to doing your woodworking? We all really miss those days… Of course, we know how busy you are now….
I would have put white gesso over the music notes to tone it down a little, and so the gold foil would show up better on it. And tie little bows on the bottom of the Christmas trees that were in the salt and pepper shakers and lids. They're all so cute though.
The ceramic book is for a grave stone, one side has the deceased picture in and the otherside has the name etc and obituary for the person..not sure I'd fancy one in my bedroom but each to his own.
Fantastic video to end the Christmas season. I love each and every one of your diys. Can't wait to get started on them. Another idea for the ceramic book would be to put an artificial plant spilling out of the square opening, holly would look cute.
Wow, Julie! This video was packed with inspirational ideas. Of course I will not find a ceramic book like that, but you just gave me an idea. I will use a real book and somewhat recreate yours by cover the open pages (and indent that I will cut) with airdry clay and take it from there.
I have a great idea. Take an old book open it up in the middle. Maybe add a little glue to hold the pages down and on the left side or the right side whichever with a craft knife and a ruler cut a square through the pages to the depth you want. Add a little glue around the edges so it sticks together and you have it. Blessings and love from New Mexico
For the grater, you could add small, colorful plastic or glass beads as your threading through the wholes. It would look like Christmas balls or lights. Or thread a small strand or fairy lights through with the yarn. Dollar tree sometimes has strands of 10-12 lights.
Wonderful projects Julie ❤❤❤Please do more projects with the gold transfers since I'm still afraid to use them! Your next Christmas video will be in the new house 😊
Great video. Totally inspired!!! I have lots of bottle brush trees . I just plugged my glue gun in and now I am rummaging thru all my vtg and or rusty crusty kitchen stuff to stick them in😃🤣👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻

1:24 I have 6+ Dollar Tree stores near me & none have the Styrofoam cone shape.
2:07 You could cut the cone in 1/2 to make a shorter one, too!

I agree!
Put a tea light under your grater with the tree to light it up. I keep one under mine all year long.

I also think the book was my favourite, but you can use thrifted book and glue the pages and cut the piece out for the scene
Thank you 📖
I have used small shakers as mini flower frogs

Lovely flips... you are so creative, Julie. One thought: What about a bit faux snow in the salt shakers, with the tree? A beautiful wintery look. 🌲❤️
