They are AC Refrigerant Lines or Hoses. The hoses or lines that go to the compressor will come as one piece because they are molded together and will run up to another set of lines or hoses. Depending on what you need replaced could be either the Suction side lines or Discharge side lines I hope this helps!
Those valves are at the service ports for the high and low side gauges. It’s not required to replace the Schrader valves inside the ports, it’s just something I do as a precautionary measure. The system is already empty and I wont have to worry about a leak from the service ports with new valves installed.
