Recently got a huge amount of lag, all game I’m glitching left and right shots are barely barely registering. I play warzone ranked resurge and as of the last few days the game is unplayable for me. Can’t even hop on with the boys. Shits so ridiculous
its awful, my packet burst wont go away when i have my typical 30-50ping, and 170-220fps, but their servers are so doodoo to keep up so it feels like im playing a google slideshow presentations half the time
I’m officially done with COD. MW3 has been unplayable since season 4 reloaded and then I get my account banned because someone linked a Steam account to my Activision account. Idk how a multi billion dollar corporation can’t afford to put a little care into it’s biggest IP especially after being bought by one of the biggest companies on earth. What a mess.
What do u guys mean how is that a possible u got banned because two consoles registered your activation id ? That can’t be true as I’m using my activation id from Xbox one x and use it on ps5 the only difference is that the store does not recognise it as my ps5 will say I have 1500 cod points and Xbox will say 300 , my PlayStation 5 however runs no issue with the game but Xbox is unplayable so I wouldn’t put it past Microsoft it they are slowing the consoles down
What i don't understand is that those lags seem to be completely random. I can get 5 flawless games in a row and then it all goes to hell: stuttering, freezing, teleporting, no hit registration... It improved for sure but it's ludicrous when it happens. I only play hardcore and there's nothing more infuriating than getting a HS hitmark on a guy wth a 50 cal. sniper just for him to take you out with a pistol shot....

Anything more than a two kill streak the lag kicks in. If I shoot a bot the la kicks in. If I go near a team the lag kicks in. Soon as I buy a loadout weapon from buy the lag kicks in.
Have series x still packet burst etc every other game I play no lag. If it’s the case with older consoles etc they could get a big lawsuit like how apple did to make people upgrade phones. Either way they only care about $$ for bundles etc
my main problem is that I can get three to some times five good matched before disaster strikes and I can no longer play due to massive lag spikes, I'm sitting between 27-37 MS of ping and then constantly lagging, stuttering, rubber banding and then sometimes just freezing entirely and having to end the game on my Xbox and stop playing for the rest of the day usually.

I have a solution to the stuttering on Xbox, or at least the series x. I have tried to post it on Reddit, but I don't have enough karma to post on the MW3 sub. Ok, since season 3, I have had stuttering or lag spikes that would seem to only kick in halfway through a match. I have tried everything concerning my net connection, game setting, texture streaming... You name it, I've tried it. No luck. It would seem to work for a match or 2, than it would be back. Then I fixed it. I have a Seagate 2tb expansion card, and I had cod installed on there. I usually had the card filled up to about 75% capacity. I got to thinking... When. You are transfering a large file to or from the card, or usb hdd, after about 10 gigs or so, it slows down. It you stop the transfer, wait and resume, it will copy the next 10gigs or so fast again, and then slow down. That is a caching issue. Almost all computers have this issue, especially with external or removable media. I decided to transfer stuff off of the internal storage until I had about 500gigs free, than put cod on the internal. Bam, I have not had a single stuttering issue, except when I am changing to many weapon configs. When I had cod on my expansion card, I couldn't go more than 45 mins or so without the stuttering pretty much ruining the match. I have texture streaming on, set to auto, all the quality settings are maxed. Not one single stutter. Unless sledgehammer patched the servers around 1pm yesterday, while I was doing the transfering, my stuttering issues are gone. Hopefully somebody else out there that has had this problem can confirm my results.
I know we are happy for what we got I'm happy that I I got a Xbox one s the main thing is that we play games and all that they have to deal with that because nobody wants to upgrade im with you bro
Xbox One X here. The game lags like shit. Constant stutters, audio artifacting, freezing. I promise it’s not my console. I cleaned the fan, replaced the thermal paste. Cleared my Xbox cache. I put the Xbox right near my ac unit ffs. Yet I’m still lagging like crazy! Sledgehammer needs to get there act together!
I’m getting MASSIVE ping spikes every single game I end up lagging and ping spiking like crazy! It’s bloody ridiculous I’ll play on 25 ping then it spikes to 100+
The Desync example you showed in the gameplay happens to me all the time in ranked games. I’m crim typically and it has made progressing, impossible bc the connection is so bad and so inconsistent.
This is PS5 btw and 250 fibre. The game displays 8ms ping and doesn’t move. That ping value is insane, no way I’m playing on 8 ping bc I would need the server in my shed. Still get jitters when moving and joked in gunfights
I never had any major lag issues until the day before and after season 5 was installed. I feel they are doing this on purpose to push the new COD. I hope this franchise gets put out of business.

This was the reason I got rid of my MW3(2023) copy, I couldn’t take the lag anymore and sold it back. The only reason I’m playing again is because it’s on game pass.
It's lagging I have matches where my weapons don't appear and other times it just keeps letting me run a few steps then it rubberbands me right back I cant sprint or shoot and it's passing me off
Hell, yeah i’m dealing with lag lobbies and delayed. Also, when you stab somebody in the back. It’s like you touching him with a toy knife. It won’t kill him.
I am just getting ping spikes from 5ms to 57 or to 100ms for like 5 seconds or more and goes back and it's very annoying and it's not me cause I look on the leaderboard and some people have the same ping as me or worse then once I go back to 5ms everybody is back on "normal ping"
I wouldn't be surprised if this is an attempt to force people to upgrade. Also, I know a lot of you are hyped up for B06, but Just know that the treyarch devs that gave Us WAW, B01, B02 and B03 are long gone.
Bro, I thought it had something to do with my connection so I bought a Wi-Fi extender and using 5 GHz at 100% connection over 100 Mb per second upload and download speed with the extender and still experiencing these issues 😢
though I wounder if this isn't a ploy to get players off of MW2-3, like iPhone did for their older phones, so in this way they can get players from MW2-3 to play BO6, though that wouldn't make any sense because why aren't they doing the same for MW1?
MP playable now on my xbox series s but the desync is insane, I get shot by people before I come around the corner/die instantly having shot first/get killed by an enemy looking the other way and when I've ran behind cover, warzone and rebirth are still unplayable, stuttering and freezing soon as you start shooting/fighting.
Every second I try to shoot or move huge lag Like stop, go, stop, go Can't hit anyone with melee or guns there been times I shot and my bullets stop in midair and I lose the gun fight

Had a same thing with the “sync” issue in a ranked match. I had the first few shots on him and still lost that challenge which my teammates agreed I should’ve won obviously. Small issue but would’ve won the game wit it

Let's not kid ourselves. The reason they'll never fix the issue is because people are willing to put up with the lag and bundles are too much a lure for folks to give up. They know this and as long as folks don't boycott in huge numbers they'll never care. Lag in US is abysmal and no point contacting Activision like I done as they will always blame it on your network, ping and deflect from the elephant in the room. Folks are spawning out of walls and running on walls like Titanfall on my PS5 cross play off. Reality is BO6 will be the mother of lag + hackers with omni movement. Throw in that new feature and the game will be much sweatier on steroids and I guarantee the lag coupled with this is going to be insufferable. Just move onto Xdefiant. They have hit detection issues but it's much smoother, no lag movement, stutter free and they listen to criticism as they addressed previous hit marker concerns.
I've been level 1 every time I get on since season 4 reloaded some time's it loads my level and weapon level after waiting 10 to 20 mins then kicks me off the server after a game or two.
I can't say it's better than season 4 I had that lag stutter that also massively messed up my audio to just a bunch of regular lag where pushes me back or doesn't let me leave a room or jump through windows it doesn't stutter lag it just lags... all season 4 to season 5 did was just make it lag differently so I wouldn't say it's any better at least for me! I was fine though for 3 days on the season 5 update but once they did the weekly update it broke my game and I've been massively lagging since then! Is there a way I can get my money back? At least for the skins that I bought and literally can't use feels like I'm getting robbed buying skins with not really being able to play it funny part is I bought my first skins right during season 4 reloaded and when the new season 5 came up because the thought the game was fixed and my friend has a ps5 and is having massive lag issues as well this game is rediculous...

Had absolutely no issues with lag until the launch of season 5. Rubber banding is out of control.

After the update (and I'm on old gen Xbox one s) the lag doesn't seem as bad as before for me still a few lag spikes every often

I am continually experincing packet loss and I'm on a PC, I never do not lag.
it doesnt matter in what device you are gaming on,its all about their trash servers and them not willing to pay up to upgrade them.plus it makes more sence to me they doing it on purpose thinking they will make us move on to bo6 and yes they think that we are that dumb!
It does that for me everytime I thought I was tripping, everytime I see an op I lag so hard and die, it's to the point the game is unplayable for me, I have 5g so there is no way 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Had a same thing with the “sync” issue in a ranked match. I had the first few shots on him and still lost that challenge which my teammates agreed I should’ve won obviously. Small issue but would’ve won the game wit it
And especially with guns, you shoot them you still get hitmakers and it’s like they’re eating your bullets like I’m shooting with nerf guns darts 🤔?
At this point I haven't played cod for a couple of months, it's unplayable.

This game is STILL a laggy, glitchy, and poor performing pile of dog shit!!!!! How is this lag issue still NOT fixed since the season 4 update?!?!?!?! I still can not play a single round of multi-player without ping going through the roof and the whole game becoming a rubber banding nightmare!?!?!?!?!?
I think they're going to let this game die, just like they did mw2. The new game comes out in like 3 months. They're about to abandon MW3

There are tons of issues with this game that even at will, they won't fix, because it is a loss for them either way, so not doing anything is just beneficial to their profit.

the one thing i don’t get is it all happened within a season reloaded update for xbox one users season 3 was perfect there was no lag nothing up until the season 4 reloaded update after that update it ruined the game for old gen
Without stating the obvious they don’t care because they’ve releasing Black Ops imo. I’m fully aware that this won’t make an once of difference but I’m not gonna bother with the next release which is a shame because I have put a lot of hours into this game and for the most part enjoyed it. That's not desync, that's lag compensation from EOMM to even the skill gap that guy was a complete bot.

Let's not kid ourselves. The reason they'll never fix the issue is because people are willing to put up with the lag and bundles are too much a lure for folks to give up. They know this and as long as folks don't boycott in huge numbers they'll never care. Lag in US is abysmal and no point contacting Activision like I done as they will always blame it on your network, ping and deflect from the elephant in the room. Folks are spawning out of walls and running on walls like Titanfall on my PS5 cross play off. Reality is BO6 will be the mother of lag + hackers with omni movement. Throw in that new feature and the game will be much sweatier on steroids and I guarantee the lag coupled with this is going to be insufferable. Just move onto Xdefiant. They have hit detection issues but it's much smoother, no lag movement, stutter free and they listen to criticism as they addressed previous hit marker concerns.
I hop on to grind the weekly challenges then hop over to MW2019 . It's better but still so annoying.

I've been level 1 every time I get on since season 4 reloaded some time's it loads my level and weapon level after waiting 10 to 20 mins then kicks me off the server after a game or two.
Lagging and I have been dealing with connectivity in war zone quads still and they are gonna ask for us to buy bo6 in a couple months

I can't say it's better than season 4 I had that lag stutter that also massively messed up my audio to just a bunch of regular lag where pushes me back or doesn't let me leave a room or jump through windows it doesn't stutter lag it just lags... all season 4 to season 5 did was just make it lag differently so I wouldn't say it's any better at least for me! I was fine though for 3 days on the season 5 update but once they did the weekly update it broke my game and I've been massively lagging since then! Is there a way I can get my money back? At least for the skins that I bought and literally can't use feels like I'm getting robbed buying skins with not really being able to play it funny part is I bought my first skins right during season 4 reloaded and when the new season 5 came up because the thought the game was fixed and my friend has a ps5 and is having massive lag issues as well this game is rediculous...
