Killer track! I really dig the aesthetics of this guitar. Pickups sound pretty decent too. Great demo and I dig the format (breaking up tie spins examples). Great ideas
Thanks bro, much appreciated! 🙏
Hey Gary these guitars are amazingly good, you're absolutely right! They do feel exactly like a custom build too! Schecter nailed the necks on these 100%, even the finish and feel too!!! I've got the SVSS Green Reign and it's now one of my top 3 guitars out of 11. It took me a bit to figure out how to re-string a Floyd Rose but OMG so worth it! These aren't just 80's type rippers either ;).
Agreed, lovely guitars!
I came for the guitar review but stayed for the great track you put together. Nice work on both fronts, man.
I appreciate that so much, thank you for watching!
i love your dog, anyway a demo is awesome! nice works dude!
Goliath was the best boy! RIP. Thank you for watching!
Solid review! Also really dig the demo itself. It’s so groovy. Makes me want to buy one and I don’t even play guitar all that much 😆
Thanks, Metal Sonic!
Hey great track, very generous of you to write a full song arrangement
Thank you! I try to write a track for each demo I put out on the channel. 😅
Hey man. Awesome review on an amazing guitar. Have this exact one and it’s right up there with my Charvel San Dimas in terms of playability.
Thank you for the kind words! I love this guitar a lot!
Great video bro. That would be great if you can make a update video about your live rig. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much! Yes, a proper update on my live rig is definitely on the list, but look out for a fly rig video relatively soon!
Great song!
Thank you so much! If you liked this, consider checking out my song 'Imhotep': ruclips.net/video/S3KF4yMHTUw/видео.htmlsi=2rNgyGHVulzhhYq1
I'd like to see your review of Line 6 Helix 3.50 update with new cabs :)
One day! 😁 Thanks for watching.
Killer as ever bro!! Go check out his solo EP too, it rocks as well!
Thank you so much for the kind words! 🙏
Would you recommend this or the reaper 6 fr for my first decent gutiar for Rock and metal mostly?
Definitely the Reaper if you mostly play metal! I have a video on it if that helps: ruclips.net/video/gPBkz7v5yzs/видео.html
Hey man Im trying to get my first electric guitar, I like bands such as insomnium, Epica, Nightwish, Trivium, Kamelot. Do you recommend this guitar or something else? For example Hell raiser c1?
Don't get a guitar with a floyd bridge if it's your first guitar.
I'd agree with @buckeyeburl0162 on that one, a floyd rose can be cumbersome for beginners. The Sun Valley is great for rock and 80's tones, but if you're trying to go for more metal, I'd try a Hellraiser or a Reaper. I did a demo for a Reaper-6 FR, but they sell hard tail version of that guitar too! ruclips.net/video/gPBkz7v5yzs/видео.html
Hello! Where can I find the tabs for the music in "Clean Tones"?
Hi! Sorry, no tabs. I write it all in my head. 😅 Thank you for watching!
What amp using n how did you do the drum beat
I'm using a Line 6 Helix Rack and I programmed the drums myself using GetGood Drums
This, Charvel San Dimas or spend a few hundred more for a used RG Prestige?
THIS for sure!
@@GerryTrevino LOL I ended up finding a used SVSS exotic Ziricote on reverb for about 900 bucks. I've had my San Dimas for nearly 10 years and all I've done is drop a Gotoh 1996 floyd and some different duncan pickups in there and it's been an absolute BEAST of a work horse guitar. I bought it new for $700 and at $1000 new now, I don't think it's worth that price.
The schecter have a more comfortable neck joint, 24 frets and slightly better tremolo. The Promod dk 24 charvel is about what the Schecter exotics cost but no stainless frets and no cool exotic woods
I still think a used Prestige would be an awesome instrument and a coin toss vs the Schecter for sure but you'd have to buy used to get the RG for what the Schecter's run new.
I had a prestige 7 a few years back and it was an awesome guitar.
Cant decide between this and schecter reaper-6 fr-s
Very good review 👍
I own the two : a reaper 6 with a hardtail and the super shredder and i like them both.
I find the super shredder more comfortable (the neck is awesome) and the emg's are perfect.
The reaper look more agressive and beautiful and the sound is more versatile and modern 👍
Both are lovely! I have a Reaper-6 FR and the neck on that is a bit slimmer if you're into that and the pickups on the reaper are a little more versatile than the EMG's i find. The EMG's are cool, but they're kind of a one-trick-pony for me. I suggest trying out both if you can! thanks for watching, if you liked this consider checking out my solo EP: li.sten.to/TnIWX1e
11:30 He finally gets around to letting you hear the actual guitar. I don't care how much gain you play - evaluation starts with the clean tone. And I mean clean - not 'this was hot rodded back in 1983, but in today's metal we call this clean'
Sorry this free content disappointed you
@@GerryTrevino Didn't disappoint me, I found it helpful. I am thinking of buying one, but I wanted to catch some reviews to get a feel for them first.
Thx.
@@guitarmemoir I appreciate the kind words! I hope you end up loving this guitar as much as I do.
No sustainiac?
Not this particular model, no
@@GerryTrevino Thx. Your video is so dark on my phone. Any idea why? Also, is your guitar only for metal? How would Santana sound on your guitar?
@@flppr1 Could be the lighting in my video. I remember I was trying something new. The Sun Valley super shredders are pretty high output guitars. Definitely for stuff like 80s hair metal and stuff.
@@GerryTrevinoHow are sustaniacs on very long usage ? Some people says May be problematic
@@reshaykut I can't really say unfortunately. I've never had a guitar with a sustainiac!
Здравствуйте, а вы учите игре на этой гитаре, онлайн по зуму
Unfortunately, I don't teach guitar. 😭 Thank you for watching though!
The FR special saddles are crap. Replace them with an upgraded FR or buy stainless steel saddles. They will strip out by one or two string changes. If upgrading to better FR, you'll need a 32mm fat brass block.
I'm going on owning this guitar for about 5 years now and this has NEVER happened to me.
