Today we prepare another homemade liqueur. The Blackberry liqueur ! Very easy to accomplish, you just have to find the berries. But don't worry, I'll show you how to do it in the video.
Just found your RUclips feed a few weeks ago and so far have enjoyed and learned from each of them. Your good and confident making them too. Wife loves the lemon!!
Given you cannot wash blackberries clean of anything that could cause mould issues later on, there is no need to wash them. The finished liqueour looks lovely. x ❤

@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato some question please help me for making beer when malt boild then next continued boiled to next tamptature or stope and then again boild
I picked a lot of these berries today, a lot we crushed and placed straight on vanilla ice cream. What alcohol was used? Can I use normal (40%) vodka? Here high % vodka is very expensive. PS, what part of Italy are you from?
I really appreciate your videos. I'm planning to do it with blueberries. Will the recipe stay the same? I'm also thinking of adding some mango. Is it a good idea? Thanks in advance
I beleive blueberries go well with mango. But, as I remember, I ended up making liqueur with raspberry :D It came out to be good! It might not be the best recipe advice, but i just filled glass can with raspberries, poured some vodka and let it sit for some time. Then I added some sugar for sweetness(I added sugar syrup, but if you want to keep some ABV, just try to mix it only with sugar)
Hi, I love your channel. We grow blackberries here at home and I'd love to make some liqueur once they start growing. We can't get 95% alcohol here in Sweden, what can I do instead? 600 ml 40% vodka?
I have seen a place locally to me where 1000s of these berries are growing wild on bushes. Right next to a public path. I am in South East England, can only find rubbing alcohol or for cleaning between 91% = 99.9% on Amazon. Plus does it have to be white sugar? Is the end product still 95% ABV? Not many people could even taste something that strong. I do love berries and cherries etc. 3 drinks later I would end up waking up upside down behind the toilet.
The end product is around 45-50% abv because you dilute it with the syrup (water+sugar). 95% abv would not be drinkable imo. And please, be careful, cleaning alcohol cannot be consumed, it will poison you (because it contains methanol). You have to specifically buy potable (drinkable) alcohol
I soak blackberries is alcohol mix for 5-6 weeks then separate the fruits and squeez them very tightly through gauze into the same jar. Then i let it sit for another 4-5 week. Then i filet it again through a coffee filter , pour in bottles and let it sit again for couple months.

Love your videos. I will try it, but would then mix the left over berries with water and sugar and make vinegar :)
Ok , good idea.
It's hard to get 95% alcohol here in Canada. I may try your recipe with Vodka but use less water :)
Yes , if you use the duble of vodka it will be like using 80% alcohol
Cheers, we have lots of local blackberries growing wild here in British Columbia. Keep up the good work! BTW - do you make an apple-based liquers?

How does it taste if you blend the berries immediately prior to adding the alcohol? My guess is that it would add some bitterness?
In theory the seeds are not good

Greetings from Finland. We don`t have 95 % alcohol here, the strongest that you can get from the alcohol store (Alko) is 45% I think.
Follow the instructions from this video 😉
ruclips.net/video/I2B5uCq2oK8/видео.html
You can get 60%
How long does this liquer last?
Forever
I like this video I'm going to try it can I use grappa or vodka 🤔 😜 👍🥂🇨🇦

Sorry 😬 if I am late. I hope you follow the advice of our friend. You must use food alcohol 🥃
Does alcohol 95% mean 190 proof or does it mean 48 alc/vol. If I used the 190 proof when I should not have, how do I dilute it to make it drinkable.
95 alc/vol
Is it very sweet? If so, can it be made less sweet, like a schnapps? Thank you.
No because the alcohol is strong but if you prefer you can reduce the sugar
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato thank you
