I used to dehorn a lot of cows years ago probably 60 yrs and the old timer that showed me how always told me to take a tiny ring of hair with the horn and they always looked great in a couple weeks..
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting. Interesting how there hoof trimmers work. I watch one on you tube channel. Most interesting work. Handled your bull real well and cutting the horns on that other cow. They do very good trimming the cows hoofs so they walk better. Getting some nice LED lighting in parts of your big barn. That is important to brighten the area up for the cows benefit. Good going Kip. Nice work. Always maintenance work to be done. You were good to get someone to work on a stainless steel tank. Hard to find anymore. You man did a good job the way it sounds. Good going Kip. Your wife did a fantastic job on those Xmas wreaths. They look very nice. Good job hanging them up Kip. Looks nice. About it I guess. Busy time Kip doing the odd jobs and stuff. You all take care and be well. Thanks for everything Kip. Take care. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Lights of today are sure nice. I put 3 doubles in our garage. And they only take a fraction of the power of the old ones. Maybe your year end can include the farm manager Grant Man. You are a very lucky man to have such a great wife/mother for your family. Take care my friend and stay safe and warm !!!
I love how you forgave the 30 pack, hey we all deserve a little break now and then, especially after the great job you guys do to keep this operation rolling
Great to get the bull on a day he's not moody. We do hoof trimming this time of year too. Hopefully you can get harvest done before spring. Sounds like the Tech is Matt B. Good man.
Eyesight? Skip a noticeable sign of getting older is a shorter nose from running into things:) Now that’s funny right there bro:) lol Rev. Paul, Eustis Florida.
Why didn't you tear that small section of tin roof of to let more light in. Why did you put the lights up between the rafters and not on the rafter losing three quarters of the light
Kip, in the areas where the lights are mounted higher you might want to look at 2 bulb fixtures with reflectors. The more light you can push down the better. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
A few robots in that holding area would probably work well, I bet those cows would adjust to robotic milking well the way that you milk and feed them in the parlour
Always look forward to a chance to see how you are doing. I know the cows are your business but I so appreciate your knowledgeable kindness when you manage them be it their hooves or a bull who needs a little help to stay with you. Merry Christmas to you and all your family! 🎄Love the wreaths! Great job Mrs.!🎄
That bull look young to be mean but u never trust a bull dont blame u for puttinga ring in his nose. I had a mean bull if he heard are seen me here he come. Cows look good glad to see a family work together god bless you all
Oh, you look old, don't kid yourself lol... PS. You can't just go and add any lights or other electrical supplies of your desire to an existing breaker, buddy... You gotta follow code, unless you want to cause a fire!!!
Matt fixed my tank too!!! Very talented guy

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and all of your families!
Another very interesting video Thank you 😊😊😊😊
Great video
Those look like the same 8 foot led lights I put in my lambing barn. You can connect 5 of them together. They really put a lot of light out.
Good man.
Just a thought on the chain for the bull we had it about 3 feet long so when he puts his head down he trips on it.
I use 1-1/2 in conduit clamp or plastic straping to put those led lights up . Lot easier and better than those crazy clips.
I've never had good luck with those clips. I run 3/4" conduit clamps over the lights thanks for the videos!

🇫🇷 Hi Kip why adding such a chain on the bull nose ring ? Ring not sufficient ? Great video as every week
Why didn't you tear that small section of tin roof of to let more light in. Why did you put the lights up between the rafters and not on the rafter losing three quarters of the light
On average how many years do you keep cows? What do you end up doing with older animals
Where did you get those led lights?

Grave blankets usually start around $50
Will you ever change the parlor or put robots in the future?

Does the name of the bull tank repair place happen to be advanced dairy?
That bull look young to be mean but u never trust a bull dont blame u for puttinga ring in his nose. I had a mean bull if he heard are seen me here he come. Cows look good glad to see a family work together god bless you all
It can be as simple if done well, some green branches and red bows. No need of blinking bulbs or anything.
kip the bulls got your number lol.
What does that nose ring do
Need to change the bull’s name to Mr. T! I pity the fool that messes with my heifers!
Now with u doing ai. U can pick bulls that will have no horns on his offspring
The two younger bulls that Kip bought from me are naturally polled
You could put a mask on your bull. It has slits on bottom so he has to keep his head up to see. They don't charge with their head up
😵💫👿🤬
Oh, you look old, don't kid yourself lol... PS. You can't just go and add any lights or other electrical supplies of your desire to an existing breaker, buddy... You gotta follow code, unless you want to cause a fire!!!
Those LEDs pull next to nothing.
buy your wife some diamond jewelry for christmas.
Ya Kip the Bull got a ring LOL- PS Great video as always thanks.
