I don't know how it happened but several years ago I stumbled upon a video on SVS. I was grateful to see someone had come up with an alternative to our failing public school model. SVS seems to be a place where children thrive, pursue their passions, connect with their inner being, help each other, and be good citizens for the communities they settle in as adults. It's so simple, to let people be who they are. I love what y'all are doing and hope it takes root on a broader scale soon.
What really stands out to me in this video is how at ease everyone is at expressing what they did, how they felt about it, etc. And then if a discussion evolves it gets discussed in the calmest way with everyone trying to understand each other whilst possibly having different views. I can't remember having seen this before as there's always an element of combativeness to public discussion in whatever forum in my experience.
Hope this channel will put out more videos like this. Also, anybody who has gotten here, I would recommend you to watch this documentary by 'Project Nomad' called, 'David and his NeelBagh'.
