hello italicar, ive got a 166 on my drive, it was a 2.0 but i had a covertion and has now the 3.0 v6 24valves from a gtv. The problem with it now i that the engine isn't running. body work is excellent, text me back if you are interested, also got lots of parts from an alfa romeo 75 america
That car ain't original. Something is clearly not right with the rear end. The back panel is from a Mk1, the bumper is Mk2, but it has been painted. It should be sliver and grey, not black and red. I think You'll find that mileage is far from original.
Unsure whether it's original or not. The wide piping on the seats is definitely weird, but that might have been some special edition that I'm not aware of. Interior rarely lies though so I'm tempted to believe that the mileage could be true. What I'm missing in the interior is the back seat safety belts and except for the Mk3(!) meter housing the dashboard is in fact that of a Mk2 which are indications that this must be a late '83 build. My guess would be that the car was stored extremely badly and probably already in need of body repair when it was first registered in '86 and they sprayed the bumpers and guard strips to make it appear more "modern". I believe the mileage may actually be accurate though the engine did sound pretty bad and may in fact have been swapped. Reason for me thinking so is that the headlights are from a Mk1 so it would seem that somebody got their hands on it first, combining parts to create one good car and this bad one.
3 years later and I'm still waiting to see what you have done with this car. Is it still around? Do you have any plans for it?
They are a lovely car, had one that coulor in the early 90s.
Any progress?
Did you do any work on the car?
Any updates on this car please?
It was taken off the road when it was just five years old.
Is this a new channel? Looks promising, subscribed!

Being a 2.0 shouldn't it have wood effect steering wheel and gear knob? Odd seats too!

Giulletta 116 Production ( 1977 - 1985 ).
That is not a 1986 model exterior. It should have the grey rear foglight panels
