Just finished ep 1 in time for ep 2 and man, Cowboy makes the best content, if I can't play the game right now, there's nothing better than watching Cowboy playing it for me 😁
This is giving me heavy DS3 Playthrough vibes and it makes me miss watching you play dark souls. I can already tell I’m gonna love this playthrough!! Keep up the great work dude and hope to catch another episode or two tomorrow, though you probably already have like 20 episodes recorded lol.
Tip that I found out: If you've already died to the boss, you leave your shell where it is. Once you've used your extra life and healing stuff, you can then still reclaim your shell, which replenishes stamina and health
I'm thoroughly enjoying your play through. Great commentary. Just completed the game for the first time myself. Watching your play through makes me feel like I'm exploring and learning the game all over again.
I like your style, man. you make me laugh. Hard to do that these days. Thank you. Subbed. Your video is both helpful and comical. (In a good way, of course)
Just the hadern fight in general sucks lol. This fight is less against the Boss and more against the camera. The character being in the corner half invisible is ass
Wooooo! Yay! Loving this game! Man... Hadern really is the Master of Dickertry when you first start this game... he shows up for several rounds... is able to harden like a pro... I mean, sure, there is a way to beat him... but I just fear for any unsuspecting female that ends up in the same room as him... Thanks for the episode!
To anyone watching this and having issues with Hammer & Chisel Hadern: Get distance so he does a running jump attack. While he's running, charge a heavy attack then immediately harden before it executes. He'll hit, do no damage, you'll unharden and smack him one. Rinse and repeat until he dies.
Fighting Hadern to get the Hammer and Chisel was brutal for me. I tried to parry everything but didn't have the patience you showed here. I ended up just dodging, or hardening, then doing one or two light attacks and then dodging away.
@@Mr.BlurryEyes DSR is just a remaster. DeS is a full remake. Of course, plenty of people were critiquing the art design choices in the DeS PS5 trailer, but that's not a question of how good the graphics are, just whether you actually like what the pretty pictures show them.
Looks like the parry game is gonna be a need to learn for this game. That sucks for me since I'm terribad at all the previous parry mechanics in games I've played before LOL. Guess this will be my training game.
There's the fighting cowboy I know. Is taught that you can attack then harden, baiting them to fall into your attack, and then doesnt use it on boss fights 😂
I believe when you get a new weapon and switch back and forth it will add to the familiarity and maybe make the item stronger not sure I'm new but I know for a fact that you will get familiarity when u get one more weapon and switch between the 2 same with shells i think I am not 100% but that is my guess
Using Eredrim with 15% HP Plus and Hallow Sword +2. I can just stand still and trade blows with Hammer and Chisel Hadern and in the end I still came out top. Lol
Grisha was more difficult then hardern. The best tactic to beat hardern was to run away wait until he runs too you dodge attack once, then he hardern then use strong attack right after rinse and repeat beat him on my first try.
There’s no leveling in this game ? No stats besides the Stamina, Durability, Resolve ? Do the weapons get stronger so they do more damage ? And last is there anything in this game that might make it replayable ?
Weapons level up, drastically different movesets and playstyles for each, each shell has unique upgrades that change how they're played, hidden synergies between weapons and shells. Easy 30 hr experience over multiple playthroughs
FightinCowboy ~ So there’s no actual level cap right . I’ve been watching your walk throughs and was thinking about getting it today. Always wanted to get into souls like games but wasn’t really good at them at first so I gave up early . Then a couple years later the announced demon souls remake and it’s look amazing so that’s was going to be my start for Souls
It’s not letting me harden now.. It’s just stopped working for me,, don’t know what I’ve done, I just changed to the hammer and chisel and a different shell that was it..
FightinCowboy cheers dude! That’s just what I did! Loving the game so far, just getting lost a lot more in this game than any souls like I’ve played haha
You can only parry when you have at least one bat of resolve and when you parry, it uses one bar of resolve. By the thing that is lit up, I take it you mean to little circle that is in the bottom left corner next to the health bar. That little circle determines whether you can get back in your shell if you get knocked out of it. If the circle has a white dot in it, then you can, if not then you can’t hopefully this helped you.
Hey Cowboy, love the content and the new series. Seeing as you are playing as a THICC boi, will Jimmy Poise be making an appearance or is he on break atm?? Keep up the great work!!!!
I know this video is old now but man you need to learn to utilize your harden. You could legit beat this guy without ever being touched. Wait till he wastes his harden then harden to block his attack and combo him then back off and rinse and repeat
*Death Count:* 4
*Kill Count:* 51
*Unshelled:* 6
*Deaths:*
Grisha (2), Hadern (2)
*Attempts:*
Hadern (sword): 1
Ven Noctivagu: 1
Grisha: 4
Hadern (hammer & chisel): 3
You need a “run past bullshit trash mobs” count as well
Awesome timing. This came out 10 minutes before I finished the first episode! Love you content Cowboy, can't wait to see more!
I’m finding this harder than dark souls. Game is whooping my butt! But then again I’m having a hell of a time unlearning ghosts of Tsushima controls
@@jessemarshall7176 I'm sure you've realized this is not harder than Dark Souls
@@nachocheez9690 oh yeah way easier. Just time time to relearn controls then it was easier

New players be like: “This fuc*ing game man! It doesn’t even have a map!”
DS veterans: “Exactly 🤤”
DS Veterans: lol, git gud.
The world isn’t even that big. After 5 hours I had the whole game mapped out in my head.
Lol
Yeah at first is confusing but as soon as you realize that everything is intertwine gets easy to navigate
Well done u mastered that boss by learning and then executing..jus' awesome love the game and playthroughs so far

I love that sweet cream cheese voice of yours in my ears.
Bruh
I second this. Your videos and voice as background noise allow me to sleep at night with insomnia.

This game is gonna be the start of a new series I can look forward to. Brings me back to when Demons Souls came out years and years ago.

I was finally able to get the game. I’m running with Tiel and the Hammer/Chisel. Inflicting poison is awesome.
Great gameplay Cowboy, I will be playing this game soon. 🙂🍺
Who else wanted him to get the shell before he died to the boss
Bro, watching him fight Haden in this episode hurts my eyes.
Same lol relying way to much on parry.
hahahaha, same
Just the hadern fight in general sucks lol. This fight is less against the Boss and more against the camera. The character being in the corner half invisible is ass
@@zebzgame well parrying is the main source of healing so it's kinda hard not to
Thicc boy is my favourite. Skrew being balanced😂
I'll buy this just for Rotting Christ on the soundtrack.
OH YEAHS ANOTHER ONE. :) love the gameplay !

Thanks for the episode!
Did you know you can retrieve your previous shell even while in your current shell and receive full health
Loving this! The end battle was dope. X
Love your gameplays!
Can't wait to start ny playthrough in the A.M. The game has a awesome atmosphere
I’ll make sure to spread your channel durning my other favorite RUclipsrs stream I really hope you start streaming more!!
He streams almost everyday during week days. He's only on RUclips now.
The White Knight that’s Wsp I need a melo streamers other ppl get annoying
Just finished the first episode lol.. seems like a rly good game

Cowboy with another one 😎👍

I hope demon souls looks like this or hopefully better as in the graphics
The graphics on the PS5 will look even better I think.
It will definitely look better.
I doubt it look at DSR

The battle with Hadern was intense!!
I really hope this gets a physical release on Consoles. I'd be happy to pay $40 for a physical copy.
Eredrim's abilities have typo errors lol
Accretion of resolve: damge
Accretion of foresight: damange
Accretion of yearning: occsionally
So far they’ve fixed all except the Accretion of resolve
Man I can't believe it cowboy straggle on this mini boss when he beaten the tutorial boss wow, I beat this guy on my first try
He didn’t realize you can only parry when you have a resolve charge available.
Bro i got the hammer and chisel watching your vid I’m so happy

Could always run Solomon and focus on healing via weapon skills
I beat the first two bosses with the starting sword with no upgrades. I used hardening a lot.
There's the fighting cowboy I know. Is taught that you can attack then harden, baiting them to fall into your attack, and then doesnt use it on boss fights 😂
For some reason the tanky shell reminds me of Yhorm the Giant.
With hammer guy parry jump attack. The mini boss next to the hub dodge the unblockable jump the parry the follow up
If you feed the toad and play the impervous lute it will give you a new armor color for Harros. I have not tried with other shells.
I know this is two years to late but you can pick those healing mushrooms before going to fight hadern so that you can use them while fighting him

I love the souls games will this be good? Never heard of it before
Wow man this game looks awesome!
When playing : Ok... this path go there. And he is there
After 1 day : wait.. which path is it? Ahh darn let just explore again
I pretty much only play as Eredrim, his tank build is perfect
The amount of typos in Eredrims skills make my brain hurt lol, oh well. Great game
I've beaten the hammer harden guy at my first try, with some cheese on top ;)
anyone noticed the Typo at 14:21 ( damaged is spelled Damge)
Part 2 out already hell yeah!!!

Tainted nektar saved my ass against Tarsus. I got lucky using it think it be a parry joint or something.

@@calebbrunston2207 late reply but you can parry with no resolve and it will fill a bar of resolve.
Im still strugling to memorize the path
The game looks pretty sweet, does the enemy's respawn?? How do you level up your player??
No. You can only kill everyone once. Just like every other game that has existed.
11:50 you can absolutely die to gravity lol
This game should be called Mosrtal hole or Holes borne xD
Dark holes?
Legal!
when does it come out on ps4??
On the morning of the 18th US time.
yay
Lol yes bats are totally birds
