are you kidding. Fleet foxes are leagues ahead of Real Estate in so many ways... musicianship, instrumentation, lyricism, song structure, variety etc.

Caught them live earlier this year and just watched their 2018 set. It’s really noticeable how much of a different group they are now. The energy and flow... that spark. Josh really added a lot in so many ways, and you can hear it and see it. Still my favorite band and looking forward to more.

Pitchfork, do me a favor, for their upcoming presentation of your festival, upload all the freaking set. Many of the songs played in the 2011 edition are not on this platform and some of the ones that do, are incomplete. That would make a man really happy. Thanks for having them again, by the way

I saw them live at The Edgefield in the Summer of 2011, outside of Portland, Oregon. Back then Father John Misty was simply known as "J Tillman" short for Joshua Tillman. It's sorta like Harrison Ford going from playing Han Solo, a supporting protagonist to staring in a lead roll as Indiana Jones. Incredible Show, I'll never forget July 24th, 2011 at The Edgefield, beautiful summer weather outside and Fleet Foxes put on a fantastic performance. Robin's vocals were arguably better than they were on the album too!

Where did Pecknold discuss the song's translation to the stage, exactly? Did I miss something?

This is good. I don't see the relevance, but I still prefer Real Estate.
