I agree. The courts are against dads. But you have to prepare your case...put in 200% effort. Complaining does not win custody cases. Strategizing and out-maneuvering a gender biased judge wins custody cases. And you have to do that to protect your children from the court's terrible decision-making.
The fact barristers/solicitors will try to rip good parents to bits, and lie about them openly, because they are been paid for that service, when you swear to tell the truth, is monstrous.

Some family courts are so busy they close the case even when there are court orders to be reviewed. They are doing this to limit the back-log of cases and also in the hope the applicant will not re-apply. The system is broken and children's well being is being disregarded.
Wrong My ex gf has really bad bipolar and kept taking my daughter off school and has no rules in her home I have rules in my home and my daughter always went to school during my temporary custody She said she wants to live with her mum because no rules over there😂
You can cross examine your ex in a final hearing and that has not changed. If however there have been allegations of domestic abuse then you will not be allowed to do so and the court will have to find an alternative option if you are a litigant in person. In that case you should ask the court to appoint a QLR - qualified legal representative (barrister) to conduct the cross examination on your behalf. The good news is that the court funds this however the court has a limited number of QLRs to appoint which is a major issue at the moment

The father has PR and my solicitor is advising to stop the contact altogether and to go to court. May I please ask for your opinion? I have audio evidence of everything
It really depends on a number of factors including the safety and risk to your child and yourself. It is normally best to follow the advice given from your solicitor
