After my try and errors, I found that find the circle of spot of light and adjust my phone with it by going back and forth is my best tip to capture excellent and quick photos from my school microscope.

I used a cardboard tube for my camera (paper towel tube)--cut the tube to the right length.

I try to keep paper away from my microscopes since they get little white strands of cellulose all over everything

I own a Samsung Galaxy A20E phone. I have two phone adapters to hold it in place over my Scopes' eyepieces. The thing I hate about the phone, not the adapters, is on the Samsung, the on/off button is in a bad place on the side of the phone and when placing the phone into the adapter's grip, the off button is pressed and the screen goes out. In close proximity to the off button is the volume/camera-zoom button. This is also obscured by the adapter grip and can sometimes be pressed accidently by the adapter's grip. I find myself having to use a pointed wooden tooth pick to switch the phone screen back on again. Otherwise, I would have to take the phone out of the adapter and start all over again and would probably find myself facing the same problem again.
On a positive note, these phones do quite a nice job of the photos and videos once you get it set up, the let down is there is no manual focusing capability.

It was such a wonderful sight to see...I shot a video just before it gave birth using my phone without adapter...

With my phone (Samsung, not very expensive) I can set the focus on manual mode (after I click on "more" and "PRO").
Then I don't have the problem wirh the phone refocusing.
