    picture this if you will... this sound is broadcasting through a college station at 10 pm at night. interupted by storms creating static adding an extra layer of "spooky" onto this track while coasting around on country roads and your driver turns off their head lights....i was very high not that thc was even needed to add to the sitution/vibe of what we were experiencing. It was indeed a spooky experience coasting through the country roads with absolutely no lights/pitch black with this music blaring and some reefer to add to the effect. good times.

    I love this with all my being, the shear emotional power if it is just overwhelming, especially sat the 5 to 9 minute period, just incredibly brilliant !!!

    A brilliant Masterpiece. I cannot hear it often enough. Like "Sombrero" from Solar Fields from the album "until we meet the sky" or "departed" from the album "Fracture" from ARC

    Reminds me of Tangerine Dream and a tiny bit of Klaus Schulze too.

      This track sounds more like Klaus than usual. But Redshift is very similar to the classic TD sound.

      Sounds like I've got another band to dig up. I already have more than a hundred downloaded albums from various artists, but I can't seem to find Redshift's discography.

    Mark Shreeve sin duda alguna es de los compositores de música electrónica más creativos. Fantástico tema Berlinés.

    Have to say this track is amazing and differs a lot to others this band have made. Here we some have wonderful key changes (something they lack in lots of their other offerings), a sensual flow of sequencers and awesome synth works that actually goes - well, not so much goes - but - even better - blends wonderfully with the sequence. The two are inseparable. And like Schulze's Brave Old Sequence and Jarre's Rendezvous, I loved the way how this time they held back on the synth work and let the track breathe for a change. As such, this just look how different this is compared with some of their other stuff. Yep - I really like this one. For me, best track Redshift have ever done. Key/mood changes/dips are vital. Just listen to the result.

      so agree, its brilliant but also the most incredible emotional power house, he ramps up the pressure and tension til your head is ready to explode then ,bang, releases, so amazing!!

    • @bigjimtanguk7525
      @bigjimtanguk7525 5 лет назад +1

      Yes - I have to say I did like this one more than their other offerings in that this one at least held some kind of melody. Tunes are so important. I also usually find their stuff too heavy handed once a sequencer is in place, but here - happily - they've held back - and just listen to the result! What other stuff (of any artiste) do you like. For similar reasons of this track, I also like Detlef Keller's face five - more so for the guy's solo synth work and its finale. Well worth a listen. I thank you for your time.

      @@bigjimtanguk7525 Hi and hello and greetings from the USA, we are not all Trump, not my president , actually i have LOVED electronic music for decades since i was in my 20 s , went thru labor with Michael Stern s Planetary Unfolding with my 2nd son, so very glad to meet you have been reading your musical comments with interest, enjoyed!Have LOVED Redshift since release of Ether, what a knockout!!!My favorite trippy piece is "Phase Three " Boddy and Boots. .If you have not seen Mark Schreeves "Fire Music" , so very recommend it, the artist is fantastic as well as the music, Zhrro on Bandcamp and I do have little chats , he has not answered me for several days ,hope he is OK. Do chat with me again, i would very much enjoy that, have a great weekend. Ah - hi there - greetings from the UK - I must apologise for our politicians too - our own is like a fridge of bottled water. If we lose contact via this route my email is forsythe727@btinternet.com - musically - try a musician called 'Gandalf' - an Austrian composer named Hanz Strobel - ones worthy are 'Visions' & 'To another Horizon'. I have some Michael Stern but I am a fan of Jonn Serrie. My only issue with bands like Redshift is there are limited and only seem to do a variation of one type of sequence - after 10 albums you get to think - yes we get that - but can you offer anything else? I am a bit of an analogue junkie in that I cannot think of any ground-breaking digital synth albums in the same way analogue did. Try also David Wright's Connected or Continuum - very nice albums - or 'Callisto's Signal To The Stars. Very tuneful, cosmic and sad that one. It's good to hear back from you and shall look forward to hearing from you again.

      @@bigjimtanguk7525 Hi, tried to send u a test e mail, it added an extra letter, need to know if i am in the right place.Just finished listening to Gandalf visions, what a rich, elegant album,so much variety,soft and very warm, he has a very complex mind and soul, holds many musical cards in his hands.It seems he combines live instruments with his synth which really increases the musical depth.Have sung in community choirs for decades, it is a thrill to actually be a part of the music, takes work.has been a lot of fun, we got to go on tour in Europe twice and sing once on the stage of Carnegie Hall, combined group of 300 from all around the country ,doing Mozarts Mass in C minor, just standing on that stage, have to pinch yourself, am I really here doing this!!Thank you so much for sharing your favorite music, I have lots too, try Klaus Schultz Sequenzer,incredibly subtle and elegant, meant for relaxing at home, blissful and peaceful;-)))

    I've just won seven Redshift albums on eBay and now I feel epic.
    If Collect Plus hadn't lost a parcel of mine, a lovely synth module, I'd have won nine albums. I'm £121.01 out of pocket. Don't use Collect Plus!

      @Roth no I just didn't have the money to bid on all 9. I'd lost the money I play with. Coincidentally I won Oblivion on Ebay last week for £20! Couldn't believe my luck.
